[Q] why do i always have to reflash a recovery image after reboot

so yes my phone is rooted and all. i've always been flashing roms over and over. but ever since i flashed the AOSP 2.2 OTA my recovery image goes back to stock after reboot. so i have to use ROM manager to keep reflashing a recovery for me. This is the first rom i have that is doing this. Is there a way to fix it or just make it permanent?

Flashing KF3 NEE help

Ok i tried a few custom roms yesterday, but i think that stock rom is the best for me. So the problem is that i tried flashing KF3 NEE as that is the official rom atm here in scandinavia. When flashing is done, it stays in a boot loop. Last time i flashed it, i had no problems...
EDIT: Found a NEE KE2 rom, tryin to revert back to it.
EDIT2: Can't flash KE2 either, but it's strange that i can flash KH3.

If you are bootlooping you will need to go into recovery (turn off, press vol up + home + power) and wipe data/cache, you will lose everything that you dont have backed up, then go into download mode and flash a rom via odin.
Or flash a stock or custom rom that wipes.

Hi guys, I have a little bit of a problem and I was wondering if anybody can help me... I had CM 10.1.3 installed on my S4 I9505 intl and after installing Adam kernel the phone didn´t boot up anymore, so I went to Recovery and I did a wipe data/ factory reset, wipe cache and also format system and format /data and /data/media (/sdcard) hoping to install the official rom via Odin using the DL mode. After reboot, I got the message Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. First, I tried to install the official rom by booting up the phone in DL mode but it didn´t work, the update stops right at the beginning of the provess, then I tried to recover via Kies but Kies doesn´t recognize the phone neither. So I installed CWM again via Odin ( successfully ) and flashed CM again. Can anyone help me figure out what´s wrong and what needs to be done in order to be able to flash the stock rom ? Thanks !!

Yes I thought of that but I can´t find a .zip variant, do you by any chance have a link for that ?

Why would you flash a kernel for Samsung roms when you are on a CM rom? That will not work.
So from what I understand, Odin works but you can't flash a stock rom? What stock rom did you want to flash? I hope that you didn't try to flash a Knox enabled stock rom. Did you try other stock roms?

I am trying to flash I9505VJUBMG3_I9505ZTOBMG3_I9505VJUBMG3 and yes Odin works I just can´t flash the stock ROM. I installed this rom many times before and I also tried an older version as well and still no luck.

[Q] phone stopps every time, modem problem?

I got a problem. I am on Omega V25 all is working fine. Tried to flash later Versions. First the Modem NC9 needed more than one flash.
Any later versions of Omega boots.
But the prozess phone stopps every time.
Now i flashed original Firmware and after it V32. Same problem again.
Is there any way to flash without full wipe?
Edit: Tried new modem
tried Philz and twrp recovery

Rule number one:
Always fully wipe if you got problems after flashing updates/new versions.
You know what to do. Wipe!

Recovery is the newest?? Also install with full wipe
Maybe flash stock ROM and try it again

I flashed stock, same prob.
Now I did full wipe. So it works.
Could it be the wiima theme 2d?
Now I just flashed back my backup.
Don't want to install all again and do all the settings

[Q] [HELP]Best Kernel for CM12

I was using CM12 nightly with AK kernel. Everything was fine until my phone starts giving Error "SIM card registration failed". Initially i thought its some hardware fault but when i flashed Factory image it started working fine. But for me Stock ROM with stock kernel, mobile data and WIFI tethering is not working properly.
I am back to CM12 with default kernel. But now battery backup is horrible. Any suggestion which kernel should i use?
Even I am OK with stock ROM. Please suggest combination of ROM and Kernel? I am tired of flashing and flashing :crying::crying:
