Hello,
Does anyone knows if there's an option to set the video record mode defaults to 4K ?
After exit from camera it comes back to 1080p and I have to re-set in manually to 4k.
Thanks.

I've been using the stock camera app which is updated on my 6P and I can't figure out how to get it to shoot 4k video. Anyone else have any issues? I made sure that the video is set to shoot 4k but when I do take a video it only shoots in 360p resolution? Not sure what I am doing wrong. I really don't like the google camera app.
I've tried shooting in portrait and landscape mode and changed all the settings around but still can't figure it out.
No issues here. Just tested and set to UHD 4K. It produced a 4K video. Stock Camera.
Hmmm, not sure what I am doing wrong then? Can I ask what settings you are using? thanks!
I'm actually perplexed as to how you manage to shoot in 360p, as the lowest option I have is 720p.

What is reporting 360p resolution? Sounds like YouTube. If so, have you tried changing the quality setting?

That should be all; where are you getting 360p from? Shoot a video and then look at the properties, it should display the H x L pixels, which will tell you the resolution.
Hi everyone,
I'm using a G900F with CM13 and my S5 cannot record video at 60fps, when selected, it still records at 30 fps.
I have tried "A better Camera" and "Open Camera", but even with 60fps selected, the framerate remains at 30 fps no matter if I choose 720p or 1080p.
I have read that certain camera-features are only available when using the stock rom and the stock camera-app because certain camera-features cannot be done using Android's standard APIs. Is this true ?
If anyone knows how to make the phone record at 60fps, I'd be grateful.
Thanks.
is universal app for all cm 13 if its not work its not ready get another app like snap
snap camera hdr supports 720p 60fps hfr recording when advanced settings, hfr mode, video snapshots, and 60fps hfr is enabled.

Yeah, you cannot image how long I was locking for this. I've tested it with 1080p although and it works great. 120fps seems not working but never mind.
You sir, made my day
Short videos do not change the resolution. If you set to 4k or 720p, you will continue shooting in 1080p.
If you go in the video option and turn on 1080p / 60fps, it will hold. But if you enable slowmotion or timelapse, the setting in normal mode will return to 1080p / 30fps.
Hi, we all know that we can record at 4k 60 FPS
With rubberbigpepper.lgCamera and this script:
preview-size=%pref_width%x%pref_height%
video-size=%video_width%x%video_height%
camera-mode=1
cam_mode=1
cam-mode=1
video-hfr=60
preview-fps-range=60000,60000
I want to know if there anyway we can record with stock or Google camera and how we would do that.

Hi,
I have tried everything to activate the HDR10+ in camera settings - but it's just disabled.
I have changed tried all resolution settings in rear camera, including UHD 3840x2160 (30 fps) - but the option remains greyed out / locked to disabled.
Anyone?
Thanks,

You need to enable saving the video in raw, and also to enable 16:9 UHD 3840x2160 analysis for the video recording.
NOT the 60 frames per second option.
Also the the High Efficiency Video option should NOT be enabled.

I have set it to 16:9 UHD 3840x2160 (without 60fps). Where do I set the raw-mode?
Thanks

Okay, I tried everything, including restart of phone; nothing helped.
Finally I did a reset to default camera app, and then it finally allowed me to activate HDR10+.
Thanks,
