[Q] please help .. my phone keep restarting

hello my friends
please help me
yesterday i was looking for interesting apps when i found an app that can change your android version to fool my friends
any way the app ask me to restart after i edit the version but i didn't restart my phone immediately
few minutes ago i restart it
and ... my phone doesn't turn on
when i turn it on it's showing the samsung logo
then the samsung logo that disappear and appear
then it back to samsung logo
and keep like this
my phone is :
samsung galaxy young .. SG-5360
please anybody have any idea ???

Try
"vol up+home+power" button
N get into recovery mode......wipe data and cache....n probably phone will start as normal again......
Caution: Your apps n data will be gone.!
Please use search box....it will help...too!

Ya flash through odin...in download mode.....
Search n download stock ddlx file for your country....
Tutorial is available in this foroum...n youtube too...

Get into download mode by
"vol down+menu+power"
Connect to pc...
In odin don't tick repartition.....
Load all files as pda,csc,n phone in relative feilds....last flash....for more watch out on youtube.....download files from

Download any according to your..area.....say for india there is diffrent pack.....
Same pick regarding to wgich area you belong...

I don't think Syria has a special build do you remember your build no
for india it starts with dd and my build no is ddmf4
it is all region based dd is for india I don't know the code for Syria try with any middle east firmware or check anywhere else

Try to flash stock rom, your phone will be not only fixed but also freshed. Just go to or search sir Doky's thread, the steps are very simple if you follow it correctly.

U need to flash stock rom via odin

hey bro. actually the sec my files over there in post 1 is not from s5...its actually stock 4.4.2 grand 2 my files...oothers are s5 ported.....

Is there a general tutorial on xda on how to make 'custom recovery-flashable zip' from an official ota zip??

You need to learn how to edit updater script.. There lots of post regarding this. You can search and look after them @mepsilon2

giving error, any ideas??

Did anyone try this update ?? Did it go smoothly or were some errors generated ? I wanna try this but first wanna make sure it doesn't generate any errors or does something horrible like making the phone stuck !

No.. If you are in sock test 5.0.2 unmodified then there will be no issue.. Tested

i am stuck at M bootlogo......any wipe cache or dalvik cache required after or before flashing?

:/ that's correct. Try wiping. And if you faced the same then flash 4.4.4 then upgrade it.then flash this 13mb via twrp(actually followed this step)
@vishgerr it seems your bin file was modified some how.. You can try the above mentioned steps

Yes the rom should work make sure to back up onto the AD CARD
1st wipe everything
2nd flash the rom
3rd wipe dalvic cache
4th reboot
If failed go to back up file you made earlier

md5 error binary is invalid say odin
EDIT: change formar to .tar can install but phone stay in bootlogo

hi,guys. i really need help with this. i tried several times flashing stockrom using different versions of odin and trying out several firmwares. always result: FAIL. Its a company phone. I honestly didn't do anything with it. Went to bed, next day woke up with the phone off. when I turned it on, bam! custom binary message. i would really appreciate any assistance.
