I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F and updated through odin. I wiped out the data using the recovery and now it says 'the device is locked because of an abnormal factory reset Samsung account that have already signed into on this device to confirm that it belongs to you.' but whenever I tried to sign in it says processing failed. I even tried to unsubscribe and subscribe my Samsung account but its no use. What to do????? I need help urgently :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

So, just to check. You have installed an official firmware and tried ticking it on, reboot and then tick it off? And that didn't work?

Download Phone INFO Samsung and see what your CSC is. You need firmware with that CSC (Region)
Also there's a Kies process suggested at Kies Recovery
---------- Post added at 11:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:50 AM ----------
Also, something to try is remove the battery for a few hours, then try removing the tick...
Well, there are some questions that I would like to be answered, so be patient with me. But first of all: thanks in advance for any kind of help!
I got the Note 4 (Modell SM-N910C - Exynos) with Lollipop preinstalled (5.0.1.). I rooted the device using cf-autoroot forom that post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/root-note-4-sm-n910c-t2977948
1. Question:
How come that there is no root file for the SM-N910C running lollipop (5.0.1) on the official site:
https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
???
Ok, after rooting with the file from the post I restored all files and data (I mean App + Data!) from my Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) using Titanium Backup. At first sight, everything seemed to be working just fine, but than I relized that there were a lot of apps which did not start, e.g. the clock-App, different settings, S-Note, etc.. ).
Question 2:
Could it be, that restoring the S4 Apps + Data replaced the native Note 4 apps with the improper S4 apps, resulting in crashing apps?
.. So I tried to initialize my note 4 again to ensure I got all the proper native apps. Using Kies 3 or Smart Switch PC (latest Firmware-Versions) did not work as they say "this device can not be initialized".
Question 3:
Is this error due to the Reactivation Lock?
.. So I downloaded the Original samsung Firmware (PDA: N910CXXU1BOE3)and flashed via Odin geflasht. After the first booting I had to reenter the password from my samsung-accout to "activate" the phone. And now, I can not root anymore (cf-Autoroot with odin: "Fail")
Question 4:
Is this error due to the Reactivation Lock? Or is the root file from the post wrong?
I then contacted samsung and tried different methods to deactivate the Reactivation Lock, but none of these methods workes:
- Recovery + Wipe
- on this site: "https://findmymobile.samsung.com/help/startupDeviceUse.do" : deleted the device and removed the connection to my samsung accout
- on my device: settings - accounts - Samsng account - mail adress - further Options - delete account
- settings - security - Reactivation Lock: uncheck the box and retipe the password --> but the box stays checked ALL THE TIME!
.. after all these methods the download mode still shows "Reactivation-Lock (kk): on"
.. So, what can I do to get rid of thad stupid Reactivation Lock and to root my device??
Again, thank you for all your answers!!!
When i remember correctly on the s5 was the same Problem. Solved was by go back to KitKat and then it was possible to deactivate the reactivation lock. And then flash back to lollipop.
Maybe search in the s5 forum for reactivation lock.

Problem SOLVED!
Just if anyone asks himself: the deactivation of the Reactivation Lock works the same way for the galaxy Note 4 like posted for the S5 before.
(original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/reactivation-lock-root-custom-rom-t3097964)
Just flash KitKat (4.4.4), register your samsung-account, deactivate the Reactivation Lock in the security settings and you're done!
Note: flashinf/upgrading to newer firmwares does NOT change the Reactivation Lock setting! Once deactivated - it stays deactivated!
A BIG thank you to the original poster of the workaround!
same problem here, 5.1.1 on note 4 n910c this version can't downgrade :/
Hi all, i'm new on XDA!
I want ask from experts some helps!
My phone is new, i rooted with cwm-recovery, no interested Reactivation Lock, but i rooted via Odin and was successful.
After root i can't get OTA update and i want wipe data/factory reset with CWM but said "Blocked by Reactivation Lock".
I flashed phone with Odin by official firmware and device now unrooted. but still says i can't get OTA update, while wipe data with stock recovery asks Samsung Accounts for abnormal reset, i bypassed self. After entered device is ready, i can't open Samsung Accounts page and can't Disable Reactivation lock.
There my problem and how to fix:
1) Samsung Accounts login and/or register page not opening, just returning to Accounts page when pressed Samsung Accounts. I can't add Samsung account
2) Reactivation Lock itself enabling after i unchecking it. I can't uncheck it.
3) How i can re-root this. When again rooting via Odin, fails.
Info:
Samsung Galaxy Note3 (SM-N900S SKT/Snapdragon), Android 5.0 Lollipop (Latest firmware, flashed via Odin), i'm in Uzbekistan. From Korea phone.
Please help me!
Sorry for bad english.

I'm not sure, but I think you can deactivate reactivation lock from your profile in any samsung webpage, I don't remember what, but you could look that way for a solution.

Having tried this many times I can tell you that you can't. I started a neew thread on this and am hoping for an answer because it's frustrating as hell to not get into TWRP again and again because of the message coming up that 'Custom Binary is blocked by FRP'
Remove Google account before booting into recovery. Then the FRP lock is gone. After you made changes in Recovery boot normal and add Google account. This is the only way. (Of course check the box for unlock for OEM under development settings)
I can only load into download mode. USB-debugger and oem unlocker accidently turned off. Odin flashing keeps failing. any advice?

FRP lock shouldn't prevent you from flashing a stock ROM. It should flash but upon first boot, ask for your Google login and password. If you don't remember the Google login and password, then there is a long and involved process to get around the lock. If you can't flash a stock ROM with Odin, you must not be using the latest Odin and selecting the individual AP and BP modules, not the entire tar, to flash.
I have used the latest version of odin i could find and both of and those files but i still get an SECURE CHECK FAIL (BOOTLOADER)

That doesn't appear to be an FRP lock but rather a problem using the wrong ROM for your tablet. Google "SECURE CHECK FAIL". What is the full model number of your tablet, from what region and exactly what ROM are you flashing?
as soon as i got to work i realized that the tablet i have is p580 not t580. everything is working now
Hello,
I have the problem that I have forgotten my Google Account and after resetting the tablet it hangs now in the FRP.
I tried this on my S8, because there I know my google account and have successfully unlocked it with the file "combination....". Unfortunately, I coudn't find a current "Combination..." file for the Tablet Tab A SM-T580.
With this video I have unlocked my S8: "BYPASS GOOGLE Account (FRP) on Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ | TESTED & 100% WORKING" on YouTube
Can anybody help me further?

Surely it makes sense to use the same Google account on both devices in future? :silly:

This will happen every time if don't enable developer option and OEM Enable. But search the thread for FRP lock and you'll find instructions that show that, while difficult, you can get around the lock.
