You will need Odin and CF-Auto-Root.
Odin 3.09 will do. You can find CF in the general section. Or just google it.

You could flash twrp and then flash supersu from twrp.

Could someone plz give me a link thank you I couldn't find it

forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219803 CF-Auto-Root thread.
Or, if you want to use the other method suggested
https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys4internationalqualcomm.html TWRP. Use the Odin install instructions. Afterwards get supersu from somewhere and flash it.

I flashed supersu 2.52 onto my i337m and it gave me complete root access: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133

Thank you I will look at it

I couldnt find the newst SuperSu could anyone help me please?

Problem with root/ supersu

Hello Friends,
I just updated to 4.4.2 with Odin
then flashed CF Auto root with Odin
The result is: "There is no binary installed and SuperSU can not install it. This is a problem...".
I flashed TWRP already, but I have no idea how to update/install the binary in order to get proper root access
Can somebody help me please?

Get philz touch recovery. It has an option to reroot (install su binary) option in it
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I solved the problem.
I figured out that I used an older version of CF Auto Root which (I guess) contained an older version of SuperSU. I assume that this version had an outdated binary.
Downloaded CF Auto Root again, flashed it with Odin and everything is fine.
Thanks for your help, guys!

[Q] How to install openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-jfltexx.img on i9505 LTE

Recently I installed Android 5.0.1 Lollipop I9505XXUHOA7 and I want to make root on my phone.
I tried several versions and I fail.
Please help me.
How to install TWRP-openrecovery-2.8.4.0-jfltexx.img a i9505?
Root using odin with Chainfire CF-Auto-Root worked for me. Download a Odin Flashable Tar instead from http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/jfltexx and use PDA(AP) button in odin to select tar

Need Help guys for rooting G900h Lollipop indian version

Hi guys.. I need help to root galaxy s5 G900H lollipop . I tried CF auto root flashed via odin , But it ends with bootloops. Again i flashed stock rom for bootloops. I also tried philz_touch_6.48.4-k3gxx.tar.md5 flashing this file and unable to boot to recovery.. I need help guys . My knox is tripped and i Need Root
update your odin version with 3.10.6 and search for CF-Auto-Root-k3g-k3gxx-smg900h.tar.. this should work fine... as it worked for me. and flash your custom recovery with the same odin 3.10.6

I cannot root my phone

I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 SM J500FN. I just install the last update Android 6.0.1 and now I'm trying to root in but I cannot find any rooting tool I tried kingroot, kingoroot but none of them could root my phone
For now I don't know about a way to root without Pc.
You can look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/how-to/tutorial-upgrade-j5-2015-to-6-0-t3443904
a downgrade solution. Maybe Kingroot is able to root it afterwards.
When unsuccessful you will at least be able to flash twrp via Odin and flash SuperSu zip(Google for it).

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy j5 on 6.0.1 and I rooted it using the same one as I did for rooting on 5.1.1
Download CF auto root for your model and flash it via odin

Yes.. Rooting with supersu.zip via TWRP is the easiest method to root any lollipop or marshmallow phone :fingers-crossed:

J500FN 5.1.1 autoroot file

Can someone send me a download link for autoroot to J500 F and FN for 5.1.1 Lollipop. Because on Chainfire site there is for 6.0.1 and I cannot find to 5.1.1. :/ Thank you.
Edit:
Yes, for J500F too, because i forgot to add this in topic.
Try flashing supersu zip from their official site.
Flash TWRP recovery from Odin, then flash the zip.
I wouldn't recommend autoroot.
I do not want to do this because this is not my phone. Flashing TWRP and then supersu.zip will take too much time. I prefer this way, the autoroot.
