Facing very weird issue... I took out my SD Card to transfer something, when I put it back in, the phone hangs..!! I thought that there must be something in the SD Card data so I formatted it and even then, the problem persists. I even changed the SD Card but the problem still exists..!!! Without the SD Card, the phone is running without any issues... !! Help..!!
ROM: Wanam Lite v8
Card: Transcend 32 GB Class 10 - FAT32
Sandisk 32 GB Class 10 - FAT32
Hi,
I've recently purchased a SanDisk Class 10 32GB SD card for my SAMSUNG S4 i9500.
I have transferred some images and music from old SD card to new one and everything worked perfectly, just until one point when the device just unmounts the SD card and all files seems unaccessible, mounting it again and reinserting the card fixed the problem but it keeps unmounting suddenly, then at one point everything was moved to LOST.DIR. I have formatted the Card to FAT32 on PC then format it again using phone, but still same problem occurring, only now it shows that SD space is being used, still when browsed through on phone, it shows no data at all.
Does i9500 NOT support Class 10, or something wrong with SD card, any body had such experience?

It does support Class 10 cards, I've been using a 64GB Lexar one for about 5 months now with no issues whatsoever.

I am also using Scandisk 32GB Class 10 sdcard but don't have any problems. Why not you try factory resetting the phone or upgrading the firmware. Best of luck...:good:
Hello
I have problem with read external sd card.
When i put 16gb class 4 (Adata) i have error sd card damaged... and i was format this and dont work.
I was tried on phone and idont have problems.. i have 32 gb and i cant connect...
I tried connect pendrives and fail.
I was tried reflash firmware and gives nothing.
I have recently purchased a SanDisk Extreme Micro SD 64gb SD card for my S7 Edge.
On Android 6.0 I had various issues writing to it. Since the Nougat upgrade it has worked faultlessly until this morning. The phone will not detect it at all.
Is there a compatibility issue with this card or is it simply faulty ?
Sounds like the issue could be the card. It's happened to me with the same SD card.
Connect the sd card to a computer using a SD card reader.
Backup all your data.
Put the SD card in the phone and choose to format it.
Connect SD card to computer and put all files back on the SD card.
Put SD card back in the phone and should work as normal.
That worked for me.
