[OTA] Moto G 2014 XT1063 v22.21.28 Android Lollipop 5.0.2

Another small and quick update released by Motorola for the Moto G (2014) XT1063. The OTA size is only 39MB and can be applied over the 5.0.1 firmware.

NOTE: You should be running v22.21.25 build to actually apply this update.
Steps For Applying the Update:
Copy the ZIP to your Moto G.
Go into Recovery.
Select "apply update from sdcard"
Choose the File which you copied.
Wait till it finishes and select reboot.
This update is specifically for the XT1063 model and isn't meant for other variants.

How is Ram management and how much Free Ram available (screen shot... please ) in idle,, , means no running apps in background . I read one user getting 497mb free Ram ,, I am kitkat and never got over 325mb free Ram

Is Android Wear version Independent of Android Phone version?

I have a Verizon Note 4 that is on 4.4.4. I just received an Asus Zenwatch that is failing to update to Android Wear 5.0.2 due to this error: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenwatch/help/unable-to-update-zenwatch-t2981611). However, Wear support is saying the Wear version is tied to to the phone version. I thought they were independent as the watch is running its own self-contained version of Android.
So basically, am I right and is the Wear support people not understanding me, or are they actually correct and I'm at the mercy of Verizon to update the Note 4 to Lollipop in order to get AW 5.0.2?

Your info is false. I currently have a Samsung Note Edge running 4.4.4 and my LG G Watch R is running 5.0.2 , works great.

Thats my point. Google Support keeps telling me the watch has to match the OS on your phone instead of knowing its an update issue with a batch of Zenwatches. But thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Would this work with my moto 360? I was going to buy a new phone as mine is kit Kat unless there is a way to update the watch. How did you update yours?

when will moto g4+ get android n?

Rumor has it android n is dropping this month. Maybe as early as this friday. How long do you anticipate it will take moto to give us the ota?

Last year android M was released in October, and we get it in the 2015 moto G at December 24th in the US.... don't expect anything better than those 3 months...

and now its lenovo ,tough,it sucks,so it may take more ������ and even mm is wrost on g4+.

It's not even out yet. Possibly the first quarter of 2017!

I dont reallu agree with u guys out their i had been uaing an lenovo a7000 its marshmallow update came in pretty soon.... i think the problem shouldnt be how early v would be getting the update .... i think it shld be how early r v gonna get an stable update... coz the moto g4+ stocl is pretty unstable n there arent any good roms available for it.......n when it comes to ota i remember those crashings n unnecessary reboot my a7000 used to make all by itself(unstable after ota lollipop update)

I doubt that you know what you're talking about. The stock rom hasn't proven to be unstable at all. There have been mishaps while flashing the ota's but the number is small considering how many phones there are out there. If someone has the brains to read simple directions, even that can usually be fixed.

Android 7.0 Update for Moto M

The update comes with latest Android Security patch, Duo Video calling application and other Android 7.0 goodies. The build number after the update is XT1663_S141_170607_ROW_TO_XT1663_S356_170621_ROW and it weighs in at around 1499MB.
For now, the update is reportedly rolling out in phases for a few Moto M users in India.This means that the Android 7.0 Nougat won't be coming to all devices at once, but selected users will get the update.

Anyone notice a slightly better battery backup? Indonesia got the nougat update too.

ya..got Android N update downloading, let see how battery and mobile performance improved after update

The battery seems a bit better also better performance in terms of speed.
Some apps keep crashing (facebook)

After two days of andriod 7 update
1) some apps keep crashing so after factory reset, wipe cache works fine
2) UI is good and battery performance is slightly improved
3) In mobile network - - > prefered network type showing option only 3g for SIM 1 for SIM 2 both 3g & 2g options showing. This is the error need to reslove.

I was on 93-8 unlocked and restored a full factory backup from TWRP and I can't update just says error. I have factory recovery and everything

Received notification this morning - installed April Security update NPNS25.137-93-10. In NWFL on Verizon.

Unlocked Phone
Got notification for April security patch.
New Build# : NPNS25.137-93-10

Downloaded it into the phone but cannot move the Blur.zip from cache to the computer. It is not a full update, really appreciate an expert to make a TWRP version for us klutz.

Might just be me, but seeing higher battery drain rate since loading this update.

Has anyone noticed any bluetooth connectivity issues or improper operation? I know that I have a rather obsolete bluetooth handsfree (NOKIA BH-108) but since the last security update there are problems with bluetooth functionality on my phone.
