Win 8.1 Tablet Stopped Auto Rotation. - Venue Pro General

The other day for some reason my tablet auto screen rotation stopped. I've tried everything on Google and nothing works. It's like I'm missing the drivers that make the auto rotation possible. No lock icon above the brighten bar. No auto-rotate chech box in display settings. Any ideas?
Also, could someone check out their device manager and see what is listed under sensor?
Venue 8 Pro

SOLVED.
Somehow it got disabled in the startup settings.

Locking screen rotation?

I've enabled home screen rotation and true tablet UI as per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800042
However I haven't found a solution to lock the screen in landscape mode. I've tried several apps and widgets that claim to do that but none work on the N7. All they do is force the screen in portrait mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Maybe this will help..
Have home screen set to autorotate, then set your tablet to be autorotate on top via notification dropdown. Then put tablet in landscape mode by holding it that way. While its in landscape mode do to the notification bar (dropdown) and lock the rotation. It should stay landscape.
Great, that works. I hadn't thought to dig among the settings in the popup menu.

[Q] Auto rotate not working

So my auto rotate is not working at all, apps that require landscape mode are fine and will rotate, but apps like youtube, any video viewing, or apps could run in landscape but are running in portrait because the autos rotate is not working. Can someone tell me what is up with my phone please? Thanks
Go to settings, display and make sure auto-rotate screen is ticked.

Ticking the box in Settings >> Display >> Auto screen rotate will allow apps like Google browser and CarHome Ultra to automatically run in landscape mode. You can use an app like Screen Orientation to pull down (like Power Toggles) and set the orientation, i.e., fixed as landscape or portrait ... but it does not set to automatic.
For the first time in years, I am running a stock Android smartphone, and am disappointed at how little Google seem to have picked from the developers who have either cooked some terrific ROMS (e.g., CM) and kernels, or developed apps like PowerTools.
How could Google release a smartphone with their OS where the Settings >> Display >> Auto screen orientation does not work?
The stock launcher doesn't support auto rotation it rotates in some apps not all, Try installing Apex Launcher its in the play store. Then go to behavior settings/screen orientation set it to 'auto rotate'

Auto Rotate Icon has disappeared

My auto rotate icon has disappeared from my notification panel and is missing from the available choices when I edit the list. I've cleared data from Touchwiz Home. I've re-enabled all packages (Disabler Pro) but to no avail. Any other ideas? I am not rooted.
Attached is a screen shot of my options.
Did you restart your device?
Try to turn it off and then on again. I know it sounds stupid and in most cases, it works.
Have you done right scroll, that applies to upper and lower part of available shortcuts. It should be there. But in case you're out of luck, use shortcutter app
It's a wonder what a night's sleep can do. I looked at the screenshot again with fresh eyes and am feeling really silly. "Portrait" is the option which is the other half of "auto rotate." I guess I was expecting the same icon and perhaps a more recognizable label.

Lemfo lem 5 pro air gesture problem

Hello dears . I bough this watch 5 months ago and in the catalog and on the official web site they claims that the watch have an air gesture wake up feature . I tried to search my watch for that option but i didn't find any thing related . Can any watch owner help here
Usually the settings for the palm brightness is in the launcher settings. So drag the screen down for the top and swipe right. You should see all the wifi / bt settings etc and in these settings there will be a icon for hand bright screen on and off. Toggle this on and see if it works. Failing that, you could download the Universal Launcher from the Playstore and do the same with that.
You could also download a sensor app, that will display your sensor information in real time - just to check that your accelerometer is working correctly. I think the app is called Sensoroid.
Thanks alot

Android Pie: Auto Rotate Suggestion

I have the T-Mobile OP6T and I have a small bug I'd like others to test. I like the OnePlus navigation gestures, but I got used to Android Pie's pill on the pixel and I really loved the auto rotate suggestion that pops up in the navbar.
When I have the Android pie navbar enabled, I turn off auto rotate and the suggestions work when I turn the phone landscape or portrait. As soon as I lock the phone and unlock it again, auto rotate is turned on by itself. Can anyone else reproduce this issue?

Nope, using Pie Navbar, turn off auto rotate....go to Chrome...landscape(phone gives rotate suggestion), press rotate suggestion for landscape, turn off/on....phone opens to chrome ...portrait mode (no auto rotate)
I restarted a couple times and my issue didn't correct itself. So I turned on the OnePlus navigation gestures, turned off auto rotate, enabled pie navbar, rebooted and now it stuck. Sorry for making a useless thread, I was just curious if anyone had my issue and it was frustrating me
