AOSP 5.1.1 YUGA:

Dirty Unicorns v9.8 (5.1.1):

Actually Xperia 5.X.X roms are so clean that most of people think its stock. Beside different icons, small apps, camera app and some options there is no actual difference to stock rom.
There is just no reason to play with unstable custom roms, if you have almost stock experience on xperia device and most of smaller apps you can replace with google ones. And Camera app? As far as I hate xperia camera app, and camera overall in XZ. playing with custom roms that would replace sony firmware is just stupid. Too much problems.
So instead of playing with unstable AOSP just install stock rom and replace some apps and via root remove some build in apps...
Thread closed. Do not create best/fastest ROM thread. Best ROM will be the one that suits you.

+1 for omega, and wanam also is excellent and u can always remove knox from the zip before u flash any of the 2
for me i'm on phoenix rom its very good but not the closest to stock as it got some nice note 3 features/look
Echoe Rom is another good one

Just curious, how is those custom rom and custom kernel performance compared to stock one? Better?
How about the heat when gaming?
I have tried the Omega but for some reason the battery drained quicker than my 4.2.2 stock.
So I returned to the 4.2.2.
I will try the Wanam if it is Knox free.
Recently there s been a lot of new roms for HTC DHD..

Any good roms with sense ?
sent either from my Nokia Lumia 820 or HTC Desire HD
For me svhd is working good but i think here on xda is forbidden to ask for the best custom roms maybe you flash some custom roms and decide for you own the best one
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk 4
only SVHD
I'm currently using taktik r1 and it's working very good like all randomblame Roms
OP they are all good, just test and run them, see what works for you....the best is only what you can decide on, with so many variables involved among different users, just because we have the same make/model device does not mean what is best for me is best for you...
Thanks & Thread Closed.
Hello,
Does non samsung roms support air view, air gesture, multi window, smart stay, smart scroll??
Like: cyanogenmod, PAC, AOSP rom..
Please name the rom that support them..
No. Only Touchwiz based Roms support it. No aosp rom does include the touchwiz framework which is needed for those feautures.
Gesendet von meinem GT-I9505 mit Tapatalk
i think the CRASH ROM have these things because its based on Samsung Stock firmware
Well of course. Like I said... every touchwiz rom supports it
You can find them here if you have a I9505 S4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop
Note:Google Play Edition Roms do not support it.

Is it still possible when Android N is released to build for the XZ a nougat Rome ?? Or just the XZ no longer. It is already more than 3 years old now and has many Android survived versions. Some developers here have indeed managed MM bring to the XZ for everyday life. Whether Android N is still possible would be interesting.

I think its possible through cyanogen and aosp, but it will surely take a lot of time to develop such a rom...
Nexus 5 and even Xperia M got first builds of Nougat (of course not stable for daily use) but it's darmn impressive.
There is hope for Xperia Z and it will require a lot of polishing (like removing Vulkan API).
Nexus 5 have now "stable" N rom
It's possible, the milestone for XZ was Marshmallow. With working Marshmallow it'd be easier to boot Nougat (N5 needed 10-15 patches for M device tree to make it bootable)
On Areamobile i have read a Modder has Port N on Nexus 4 with the same SoC. Lets Do it!!!!

Let's do it...
How can we (the regular guys) help ?
