I have a Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus on Vodafone. I've been told wifi calling is active on my Account but when I go into the settings it's Not there. Any advice or help please?

I believe it has to have been purchased from Vodafone itself if that's relevant

Hi all,
I am thinking about buying the new Pure google S4 thats coming out, but i am not sure if it will work on the uk networks.
Does anyone know if it will work in the uk (the 3 and vodaphone networks)?.
Seeing it works on tmobile USA and AT&T is it possible to know what frequencies it operates on???.

Hi xda forum guys.
It my first time writing here.
I recently bought Galaxy s4 from South Korea(skt). Not lte-a.
I am on Vodafone Australia and they provide LTE but I cannot get LTE...
I found out that the frequency of vodafone and skt are same.
When I go to hidden menu and go network settings and put on LTE ALL, it WORKs with LTE but It does not automatically changes to 3g and I can not use calls or answers. When its on automatic in hidden menu, i only can use 3g.
Please help me with this problem... I really want to solve it

I don't think the Korean version supports the Australian LTE frequencies..

As the title says got my S7E and loving it but not getting any signal at home. So read about wifi calling but not received any updates. Does anyone know anything please

I have the S7 edge with Vodafone UK and haven't had any updates that enable Wifi calling. I have sent thrice request to Vodafone and nothing from them.
Latest update plus enabling it on my account by sending the relevant text made the options appear on Vodafone UK for me. I have since disabled it as it seemed to hurt battery life a little and I will turn it on again if I need it.

When did you get the update? I am with Vodafone UK and haven't had an update for weeks...

Maybe a week ago? It's the apd1 update. My phone is a stock s7e bought from Vodafone directly.

Did you text the word calling to 97888 and get the confirmation back that wifi calling would be activated, and then another text confirming that it had been activated?

After I got the confirmation, I rebooted (don't know if that is needed or not) and now I have an extra option in the phone settings menu at the bottom underneath the vibrate on off switch.

in Germany they say it will be active on 1st June only for business-customers

I am considering ordering a note 7 which is basically a Galaxy S7 and I was wondering if anyone is having problems with there MicroCell and their phone connecting? I had nothing but problems with my Note 5 in the AT&T MicroCell so I eventually got AT&T to take it back. I don't want to go through that big hassle again so I was wondering if any of you guys with the S7 is had any problems with the MicroCell?

I had used it with S7 with mostly no issues other than occasional call drops. However, the new AT&T July update enables WiFi calling. So I removed my phone from the MicroCell list of phones and enabled WiFi calling. I still use GV for international calls. So far so good. I am hoping my WiFi calling experience would be better than the MicroCell experience. Hope this helps.

On the Verge of deciding which phone and WiFi calling is a factor.
I'm looking to buy a new unlocked g9750 SD55 s10 plus. Does it come with the option to use WiFi calling?
My network is ee in the UK who support device specific WiFi calling

the phone has wifi calling but its completely up to your carrier if they will provision that model for it or not... youd have to ask them with the model number and confirm

There was someone else on here that says it worked on 3 for wifi calling. There's a complete thread about that somewhere on here.
