If your phone's screen is landscape, create a 293x240 png image and name it cprogback_land and drop it in the Windows folder.
If your screen is QVGA, create a 240x293 png image and name it cprogback and drop it in the Windows folder.
That should do the trick!

Nope.
Look at any .xml file and you see that:
"<plugin clsid="{837FC251-FE69-43ad-84E0-EBCEDEBA0884}" name="iconbar" height="27">"
so the the background image for the landscape calling is: 240 px - 27px (upper bar) - 27px (bottom bar) = 186px.
PS: Changin' this landscape affecting only the incoming calls not the outgoing calls (at least this happens on my device).

If you open the original cprogback_land.png file in your Windows directory you will see that the dimensions are 293x240.

Yes. But these dimensions referring to the portrait mode. The one which I refer to is for landscape mode.
In few words, we both are right!
PS: Attached is the "cprogback_land.png" file I use.

I've often dream to make a long long journey through Greece to see what Alexander the Great saw when leaved his Pella. Smelling the air of the Thermopylis and the raging ruins of Messana and... many many other places, so many that all the servers of the so much glorified and used World Wide Web cannot list, and never might.

I think it will be more nice now we can have our own background on all tabs.

It will be great when you can fix that and places the files in a .cab
To fix it by myself is a too hard job for me.
Agree, transparent buttons would be a good enhancement.

Here you go guys. Just extract the 2 files from the zip to the diamond's (maybe tp's as well) windows directory overwriting any existing files with the same names.

This is not for customized background. This is just to change the docks in the programs tab (the shiny black squares behind the icons) from shiny black to transparent glass.

I like to vary the appearance of my mobile and so I changed nearly all of the icons, some text and so on. Now I'm wondering if anybody knows what icon-files are used on the screen "call history". I talk about the red-marked signs on the attached picture. This is the call-history-screen that appears by pressing the homescreen, not the extra call-history-tab. These are not the pngs in the windows-folder, like "CallLogInBtnDn_Port.png" and so on. Got anyone an idea??

Be sure, I did it. I think you know Mossis ROM - there I could found no files like the redmarked on my attached screenshot. Searched in other ROMs and in many themes - but these ones are not to find. I thought they would be hidden in some mode9-files, but no answer at the time...

windows/startmenu/programs
It should then be in your start menu. Then, go ahead to add a quick link on home page,and the music tab icon should be in the list of programs.

because i briqued my tablet 3 time
you must edit systemui.apk wich is in system/app folder. Inside there is "\systemui apk\res\drawable-mdpi" and look for
6 files :
ic_sysbar_back_default.png
ic_sysbar_back_pressed.png
ic_sysbar_home_default.png
ic_sysbar_home_pressed.png
ic_sysbar_recent_default.png
ic_sysbar_recent_pressed.png
you must edit them and replace it
but when you remplace it, the system crash, you must reboot and that's all
Can you post a link to where you found your icones you used looks kewl.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and to each his own. Enough cliches!
The easiest way to do this is to copy the SystemUI.apk to your PC. Open the file with WinRar, navigate to the correct folder within the file /Res/drawabke-mdpi, then delete the desired files, then add the news ones to the same directory. Make sure you make a backup copy of the file first. Then, using root explorer copy the file back to system/app. You'll get fc after fc. Just reboot the tab and you'll have your new buttons. Just did it, so I know it works. Not sure I like the way they look. I'll leave them for a few days to see if they grow on me lol
