Hii, friends,
Is it possible to use the stock recovery 1.90.709.3 instead of 1.90.707.3 ??
If no, where can I find the stock recovery 1.90.707.3 ?
My phone bought from Malasia (but "Made is Taiwan" printed on the box) Model is HTC One M9 Plus...mid is: 0PK71000 and cid HTC__044
I'm afraid I flashed unsuitable twrp to my phone (TWRP 3.0.0-0 hima.img) and phone is stuck on the recovery mode at each time. This is why I think, I have to flash stock recovery again then flash the the uppropriate twrp.(If I find )
If some one help me I'll be appreciated
Thank you

Flashed Wrong Firmware to Nexus S

So I ran into a little problem with my Nexus S (Model i9020a, Koodo network in Canada). I originally was rooted with vanilla firmware 2.3.4 and ever since ICS was released I thought I should unroot and get the OTA update. Only problem is that I unrooted it and updated it using a online i9020a 2.3.6 rom. It now says that my Carrier Info is now ATT on Fastboot Mode and when I turn on my Nexus S, I can't search for/connect to any networks. The updating process wiped my SD card so I don't appear to have any backups.
Is there anything you guys can do to help me out it would be greatly appreciated ? If this is posted in the wrong area I'll gladly post it on the right one.

How do I backup the stock recovery for Note 3 SM 9005?

If I install custom recovery (via odin) my stock recovery will be gone right. So, how do I backup my current stock recovery.img so that I can recover it later? I was looking for the answer on many threads and most xda members suggest to use the 'fastboot' method (which temporarily injected the custom recovery and return the stock recovery immediately). But this fastboot method does not work with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-9005. Is there any other alternative how to backup the stock recovery?
EDIT: the alternative method that I can think of is to use Flashify app. It can backup the stock recovery image but, in other to use this app, I must be root. and in other to root i must install custom recovery.. and.... yeah I lost the stock recovery.. this is the problem.

Hmmm.. here is my situation. I have the official ROM KitKat. It contains the kitkat stock recovery.img. I updated my phone to Lollipop and I believe it has updated my recovery.img to lollipop version (I found it has more options than the KitKat version). I cannot find the official ROM of my phone. My question is,
where can I find the official lollipop ROM? I just received it via OTA. Does reflashing the ROM will backup my recovery.img? I mean I want to obtain this recovery.img file.

How to revert back to the stock firmware?

Hi All,
A couple of days back, I installed custom ROM (Recreated Remix Leopard) successfully on Zenfone 5. I was on the stock lollipop 3.24.40.87 firmware before that. I rooted, unlocked Bootloader and installed TWRP recovery on the stock ROM and I also took a nandroid backup. After using the custom ROM, I decided to go back to the stock ROM. I used the nandroid backup for restoring and got the stock ROM. But, now I want to go back to the stock Kitkat ROM (as the lollipop sucks) and I also don't want the custom recovery or anything. In short, I want to revert my phone to the real factory condition.
I tried to go back to Kitkat by the ASUS official method. But that didn't work. Then I tried to re-lock the Bootloader with the tool from which I unlocked it. But when I did that, I got stuck on the USB logo screen. So, I unlocked it again with the same tool and the phone starts normally. So, how do I get back now?
What would happen if I flash the stock ROM via TWRP? Will it remove the custom recovery and lock the Bootloader?
I read a couple of articles, a few of them suggested to install the stock ROM with the official ASUS method (copy the files in internal storage and the phone will notify to install the update). The article even says that by this method any custom modifications (recovery, root, Bootloader) will be deleted. Is it true or will this work?
Thanks in advance!

Link rom WW 3.24.40.87 modded, flash via TWRP: drive.google.com/open?id=0B7Py5ad2aHwKMHRsZ1NJM0tfLTQ
If you flash this rom, it will not remove the custom recovery + lock the Bootloader
If you having a problem while flashing this rom, you need to flash stock recovery 2.22.40.54, after that you can sideload stock rom via ADB
Sorry for my bad english ^^

Hi, thank you for the reply
You said WW 3.24.40.87 modded, do you mean that this rom is not the official one? Does it improves the battery life and other bugs of the stock rom?
I really appreciate your help!
You cannot flash stock rom via TWRP!
This is modded rom, so you can flash it via TWRP easily....
It's Official rom from Asus, just modded to be able flash through TWRP

Thank you for the info
But the thing is that I am already on the stock 3.24.40.87 rom and I want to go back to Kitkat 2.22.40.54 because it has much more improved battery performance than the lollipop. Is there any modded version of the stock Kitkat rom too? Or how do I go back to it?

You need to flash WW 2.22.40.54 recovery via Fastboot first, then sideload rom via adb

Problem flashing roms via miflash

Hello, today i downloaded the latest stable KK rom, and the China miui8 to do some tests in the new China rom, but couldnt flash because there was a error of "cant find flash_all, flash_except_storage, or even flash_except_data_storage. Bats. So i looked into the zip and there was no bats inside the folder.
I know i can simply try to flash via TWRP, but if i do that can i be able to reflash 4.4 rom via TWRP too if i want to come back? Last time i flashedLP bootloader , it wouldnt let me come back via recovery to KK bootloader. Only via miflash. Please give me some clarification if any of you already tried it!
Maybe you are using the wrong rom update package. The recovery rom is different from fastboot rom. If you are trying to flash this "miui_HM2XWC_6.6.23_a0619b1eb0_4.4" package then this is for recovery procedure only. You should download the fastboot (rom) version.

I downloaded both ones, LP rom for recovery and about 3 KK rom for fastboot(miflash). But the fastboot ones are missing the bat files, so i cant flash.
If you have any full download link please share xD

We need to know your model #. (Ex. 2014817 in my case) because flashing wrong model # of rom will give you problems with (service provider) radio signals.
I'm only downloading from official MIUI site.

Latest Firmware for x727?

There is not big rom on X727 after firmware 5.8.019s, just OTA update. If you are on Locked bootloader / Stock Recovery you can download the update 21s and flash it via Update App.... Or rename de ota file to "update.zip" and flash it on Stock Recovery (Power + VOLUME +).
If you want a 21S or 23s complete Rom, you must to unlock bootloader and flash Custom recovery, then you can flash a 21s like VillarLeg o Mauro v2.2 23s... Good luck!
