yes you can, you need to be rooted though
after you root your device if you already dont have root access, download and install terminal emulator
download the imei image file from this link http://www.mediafire.com/download/9a87r1bgn1zks7b/mmcblk0p3.img
now that you have downloaded, copy it to internal memory/internal sd card/phone memory whatever you call it
now in terminal emu, type su and press enter
give it root access, now run this command
dd if=/sdcard/mmcblk0p3.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3
press enter, reboot you phone

Dear @dgadelha and @kloroform
Thank my friends. But don't work for me. But, my imei changed of null to 0049999010640000 in both Sim and slot 2 works partially. Only one operator. Other operators refuse my register in network.
Not work...
I think the solution will be send for assistance . I'm sad about it.

Ok, I've bricked my ZF 5 and have gone through many tuts to unbrick it but unfortunately I can't get into recovery mode. I can enter the droidboot mode by pressing Vol down + power button but when I click on Recovery there, it gets stuck at the boot screen mode(the one we see before entering into droidboot mode) and stays there forever. The adb shell does detect this and I did try to flash a recovery img through it but still no use. Can anyone get me out of this please?

download firmware from asus site, unzip them and you will see some folders and: recovery.img droidboot.img and boot.img
so, download and 1.0.32 and put recovery.img to folder with adb files.
boot Zf5 to fastboot/droidboot plug in computer ( you need asus drivers ) open cmd window in adb folder (SHIFT+ RIGHT CLICK) and then write : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
press enter and wait, now try boot to recovery
you can try flash droidboot.img and boot.img too

Do one thing when you get into fastboot and tap on recovery an asus logo is seen.
Then kindly hold your power button and then your device will switch-on to twrp easily.
The actual problem is because of your device unable to get into twrp automatically so herein the above method you are manually getting into device.

My 501CG is in a bootloop and can't go to recovery.
The device can be detected by adb but I can't sideload anything. I've tried everything I know but couldn't fix it.
I tried to post a screenshot but the forum won't allow me and I can't explain what the problem looks like so I don't know what to do now...
Please help me. Thank you.

Can you go to fastboot? Adb still reconize it then go to ADB and type adb reboot bootloader then try to flash the recovery and factory reset. If the problem still exist after factory reset you will need to look up for system.imgs files for the zenfone 5 and flash the system imgs from fastboot

Thank you so much for helping me.
When I type adb reboot bootloader, it says <waiting for device> and stays that way.
I have a screenshot of the error but I can't post the proper link. Here's a modified version of the link, just replace the <dot> with a period I guess if that would work. That's the only way I can show what happens to the phone.

Hi! The phone won't go to droidboot mode. PressingPOWER + VOLUME UP brings me to the Asus bootup screen (sometimes with a black background and sometimes with a blue one) and the words
CSC Mode
long press power key to restart system
And sometimes it's just the normal Asus bootup screen (and gets stuck there). On that CSC mode screen, plugging in the USB and typing "fastboot devices" does nothing
D:\501KL>fastboot devices
Booting up in recovery mode works, and when in the recovery mode menu page, typing "fastboot devices" still does nothing but typing adb devices gets this response:
D:\501KL>adb devices
List of devices attached
051c7013 recovery
D:\501KL>
Running (as administrator) the file sec_offline_update_image.cmd from the recovery menu page gets this response:
D:\501KL>fastboot oem backup_config
< waiting for device >
And it stops there.
Also, when plugging the USB cable to the phone, it starts installing an "MTP USB Device" but always fails after a few minutes.
I already tried bringing the phone to the accredited Asus Zenfone repair center here in the Philippines but they said they don't have the firmware to flash this model. They didn't give any explanation nor did they refer me to anyone else who might know how to fix this thing.

Apologies for saying thus but if there are no RAW firmware of the LTE model. It's pretty hopeless

Yes, I'm so sorry. I noticed the error in the title just now. I got confused with my 2 Asus phones that I put the wrong model in the title. Stupid stupid me...

Try this Method
De-grade to Kitkat by downloading Kitkat firmware UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.540-user ( Kitkat).
Then Extract Fastboot.img, Boot.img and recovery.img
flash these files throufgh fastboot, for that downoad minimal adb tools and connect your phone through usb when in fastboot mode
flash these files by clicking right while holding shift on the ADB tools folder in Blank space and choose Open command window here .
then type these 4 commands :
fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader [wait for the fastboot mode to reopen in phone then]
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
after these 4 commands go to recovery through selecting recovery from fastboot.
In recovery, select Update from adb. Now copy firmware.zip in that ADB tools folder which is UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.540-user.zip and rename it to update.zip for ease.
now type in Cmd :
adb sideload update.zip
after this clear data/cache in phone and Your phone will boot.

still stuck at asus logo bro, and recovery still error mount cache
Hello guys, my zenfone has the image "ASUS in search of incredible" on the center and upward has the written ""Fastboot Mode!!! long press power key to restart system""" in light blue!! i readed other similiar threads but i'm unable to resolve, i tried to download the official rom on the asus site and i follow threads of other models of zenfone 2 hardbricked in the Fastboot mode!
like this! ----((Type fastboot devices and hit Enter. Your device should appear.
13. Type fastboot flash fastboot droidboot.img (be very careful in writting this line). Hit Enter. Wait till it's done.
14. Type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and hit Enter. Wait till it's done.
15. Type fastboot flash boot boot.img and hitEnter.))
I don't find those files (and files like system.img) in the zenfone 2 laser rom zip(UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.7.1-user.zip) but only Boot.img ,system.new.dat... nothing useful.
I dowloaded a official recovery and twrp, i tried to flash the recovery.img and the boot.img and i try to reboot in bootloader mode but nothing, than i tried to flash the trwp.img but the process failed!
I've a Raw file image of the rom but i don't know if it possible to install it in fastboot and what is the right Command on fastboot!
This is all, i hope that someone can help me
Download stock recovery from here and flash with fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img and download official firmware from official site.
Go in to recovery and wipe cache and data, after select update from adb, open adb and write this command:adb sideload name_of_firmware.zip or put firmware.zip in to sd and rename update.zip go in to recovery wipe cache and data and select update from sdcard and select update.zip
thank you for the response, after the flash of the original recovery, i tried to go in recovery with "volume - and power botton" but nothing only asus image, than i tried with fastboot command --->"fastboot boot recovery.img" and Failed( remote dtb not found)

nothing! My friend doesn't remember if he unlocked the bootloader, the phone doesn't go in recovery... So the problem is the unlocked bootloader or a locked bootloader?!
from your answer I understand that if it is unlocked i can go in recovery, so i assume that the bootloader it's locked and for this i can't go in recovery...

Phone = Redmi 2 Prime, 2GB / 16GB, Model - 2014818, Android Version - 5.1.1 LMY47V, MIUI - MIUI9 Global 7.11.10 Beta
History - Phone MIUI was 8.5.2 stable when I rooted with Super SU & Busybox. Kept root open for quite some time and accidentally updated phone. Phone got brick then flashed beta rom (9.7.10.15) with MI flash tool. Got several updates and finally having 9.7.11.10 Beta.
Problem - Not able to root now. Several root checker giving different result on root checking. Some are saying Not Rooted and some are saying Root Problem.
I want to root it again. Kindly suggest.
