USB problem with VegaComb

Hi!
Yestarday I installed VegaComb on my POV Tegra. The VegaComb 3.2 Build7 is fast and stable.
1. problem: the USB on my tablet works only in PC connection mode. When I plug in a pendrive, or external hard drive nothing happens. (looks like not connected...)
2. problem: I can't install Build8.1 because VegaModdedStock_v1.10_v2.exe writes: "unknown device".
Can anybody help me?
Ad 1: USB host is not supported yet in vegacomb (at least not in the standard USB connector)
Ad 2: I installed build 7 directly from the standard Point-of-View firmware 1.10, which ran fine after doing a factory reset. But than I wanted to move to build 8.1. From build 7, I was able to install modded stock v2 without problems, which gave me access to CWM. Than re-installed build 7 through CWM. Than installed the build 8.1 patch through CWM. That works on the Pointof View tablet too.
THX
Thx, it works, but I wait for a newer version with working USB host...

i am trying 3 systems xp w7-64 w7-32 all are device not recognized error in device maneger is yellow mark unknown device
You need to install the usb recovery drivers. They are on the advent/pov websites. I assume there the same as your tab.
i cant access my tablet because i have usb not recognized error i want any alternat method to flash my tablet rom like sd card or usb drive thanks
no one solved my problem any idea if i use usb to serial cable or usb to lpt cable
You need to sort the usb driver issue. That will solve your problem. As far as i am aware flashing the stock rom with any other cable is not possible.

[Q] Root TPT without ADB?

Hello
My Lenovo TPT 1838-2CG has stopped connecting with USB (it will only charge) so I have no way to use ADB. Can I root it with an APK?
Thanks!
M
Simple answer, NOPE. You need to find out, why it does not connect and fix it. Cable? USB connector of the TPT?

APX mode

Hi,
I have a nexus 7 2012 wifi which doesn't boot. If I connect it to my PC, in the device manager it shows that it is in apx mode. I cannot access the bootloader either. Is there any way in which I can fix it??
Thanks in advance!

iBall Slide i701 Windows Tablet stuck at boot screen

Hi,
I have iBall Slide i701 Windows Tablet which is stuck at boot screen (originally it had Windows 8.1 but I upgraded it to Windows 10). Now, request to please share the step by step guide to reinstall/repair Windows 10 / 8.1 in the tablet.
Thanks,
Vijay Gupta
Hi!
I dont know your device but by default the steps will be:
1 - Find, download and create a boot pendrive with firmware.
2 - need a OTG cable to plug in tablet
3 - Figure it out how to boot from pendrive, maybe a combination of keys like volume up + power, etc.
4 - plug OTG with pendrive in tablet and try to boot on pendrive.
5 - If successful you will able to recover or reinstall firmware.
Will be something like this I guess
