I was having a problem watching downloaded movies on my stock OPT on Google Play Movies - the movie would randomly freeze at certain points and not go any further. Tried clearing the app cache, re-downloading the movies, restart etc. Nothing worked. Then I tried turning on Use Awesome Player in Developer Options and the problem went away immediately.

I used to be able to watch flash videos on ESPN but now all of a sudden they don't work. I can still watch flash videos on youtube and cnn and other sites. I tried clearing browser cache and checking and unchecking mobile view but nothing seems to work. Can other users see if they can play flash videos on espn?

I've had no problems playing flash videos on the front page or from espnnetworks.com
no problems here either. are you rooted? custom rom? have you tried a hard reset?
Hey all. Ever since I got my A500, the YouTube app does a force close when I try to view videos on certain channels. I have cleared the cache, app data, and even a factory reset but it doesn't seem to help. The main channel this always happens on is machinima. When I try to play a game trailer or a video from the mortal kombat: legacy series, it just closes, even before starting the video. Any one else have this issue? I prefer the app to the browser, but both are extremely slow in the loading dept. Any help is appreciated. Also, I'm not rooted.

Never had FC issues using the official YouTube app on my a500 until I tried to search for "mortal kombat legacy" and selected the first video I saw by the same user name you mentioned, got a force close when trying to load it.
Would imagine this is a issue with the video format used by whoever uploaded said video.
Well it sounds plausible. I should send the channel a message about that.
I am running stock Mojo.
I downloaded netflix from the play store.
The app runs, but while playing movies, here and there it flashes a different frame of the movie then goes back to playing. It does it really fast. It is very annoying.
Is there a fix for this?
Wouldn't hurt to clear cache and data... but if not uninstall and reinstall apk
I'm experiencing some troubles with both apps:
Netflix doesn't play any video. Just "Loading video" and nothing else.
Google Play Music doesn't play songs that are more than 5 minutes long.
I've tried almost everything: full wipes, kernels, ROMs and modem.
Any ideas?

Every time I want to play a video for first time, the video sticks for about 10 seconds and then it continues playing normally...
I tried below solutions:
Clearing cache and data
Reinstalling the application
Also I always use Google play store to install and update my applications.
