I'm having the same issue with the N910T I'm on my second battery which is currently inflated and my phone is all squishy now. But the problem is still there.

My N910C battery has also swollen, but it does not have the "death" problem you are experiencing. I have already changed the battery when I noticed it swelled.

Have you solved it? It happens the same to me, but without the swollen part... I boughta new battery and still the same!
Same for me. It started when phone was around 6 months old. Sometimes it shutdown at 25%,sometimes at 30-35%... It even happened at 60%! It also happens to my brother on his S6...

Hi everyone,
I searched the forum for a satisfactory answer yet I don't seem to find one so I'm going to ask here...
I have the habit of plugging my Nexus 4 as soon as I get home, keep it plugged overnight, and unplug it the next day when going to work. About two weeks ago I noticed that occasionally the phone indicates that the phone is fully charged yet, some minutes afterwards it indicates that the battery is at 98-99% and is charging again. I was quite intrigued so I started using some battery applications (e.g. Battery Widget Reborn) and I now notice that the "problem" is quite frequent and happens every single time the phone is plugged (I tried withe the original USB cable that came with the phone as well as with other cables). Attached is an image showing the weird pattern that I'm having...
Does any one have the same problem ? Anyone cares to explain to me why this is happening ???

Isn't that done on purpose? You don't want to keep charging at 100% so the phone discharges after reaching 100% for a while.

When 100% is reached, the battery, for the best of my knowledge, is not used... Therefore, I find that it discharges very very quickly for an unused battery !
Mine does that as well. I thought that was normal?

It's Normal as phone batteries reach 100, discharge a bit and stays there. Btw ROM + Kernel?

Just stock Android 4.2.2
How quickly it uses that small amount of battery that kicks it back into charge mode is going to depend on what you have running and syncing in the background.

So I'm running Danvdh's GPE ROM on my S4 on 4.4.2 and in the last few days my charging has become really slow. I'm using Samsung's charger that came with the S4 but the charge seems to be trickling in and the S4's battery isn't doing so well either, 7 hours with 3 hours screen on time.
In the kernel app it shows that the charging current is 1A, which is lower than the 2.1 the Samsung charger usually outputs, you can change the charging current in this kernel app however I haven't done so, I've even reset the settings to default but still the issue persists

The battery could be going up. Sometimes when they fail they fail in a hurry. Like they go from working fine to bad overnight.
Other times they gradually decline in quality over many months.
If you have access to another battery that's always a good thing to try first.

sometime the battery bugged..try this
pulled out the battery for 30 minutes and get it back in and charge normally.
Why is there the assumption that 3 hours screen on time is not good? It's perfectly normal.
It can be 2 things.
Your charger, so try a different charger of the rom/kernel you are using.
hey guys could anyone help me with this horrible battery life???
I tried clearing the cache from stock recovery but it did not help me
I have updated to 2.1 and I can say that battery life was equally worse in 2.0.2 and 2.1

I wish I could say I have a solution but I have almost the same problem. With my opt, Google play services also is in on the battery drain. Would really like to have some tips. I've seen cases where one of these processes drains the battery, but not 2 or 3.
Very similar to my battery life. 2 hours screen on time, 12 hours off the charger, at 20%.
Do you have fingerprint scanner or tap to wake, and carry your phone in your pants pocket? If so, you may want to try having the screen facing away from you at all times to avoid accidental wakelocks.

Not OP, but personally I doubt it's that. I have charged my phone to 100%, then left it unplugged for 8 hours overnight for testing, and it will usually be at 80% the next morning. Most phones I have had won't drop below 90% overnight.
I just got my OP2 and it was at 93% when I started the initial setup process... after 44 minutes of setting up and downloading apps and the 2.1 update, it was at 52%. My Moto X Pure has "ok" battery life, but is much better in comparison... It only dropped about 20% during the initial setup, including ROOTing and doing a Nandroid.
So, I'm a little concerned about keeping the OP2 for this reason? Plus, the speaker sounds terrible.... But I've been using HTC dual front speaker phones for the past 2 1/2 years and most recently the Moto X Pure with dual front speakers. So the one speaker on the bottom is a bit of a let-down.
Guys, ok i charged my OP2 till 94% last night and left it. In the morning my battery was down to 54% and the major eatup of battery was done by MAPS. but my location was off and maps was not there in the running apps. SOT was 5 mins.
So, i am still trying to figure out as how to kill the Maps. But from morning (7 am) till now (3 pm), my batter was down only 23% and i have been constantly using my phone with SOT as 2 hrs.
Little weird but intersting.
Hi i recently got Note 4 .. I am having issues with the battery ... can some one help me please.. check the following ss and help me plz

What's the issue? You used it over around a 19hr period and it drained.... what was your screen on time?
BTW Facebook app will kill a battery.

Downgrade to kitkat. I get 1-2days and like 5 hours SOT
I did experience that as well. I believe it's exynos processor. Snapdragon is a way better than samsung chip - it just works. I'm really sad that I bought n910c. N910F was cheaper and it's better (and it works faster when you encrypt the phone) !
Nothing to do with the processor or Lollipop. I have a N910C on 5.1.1 and get approx 6 hours screen on time daily. There must a rogue app or process draining your power. Also your phone appears to be awake quite a lot when the screen is not on.

oh c'mon - n910f has a way better sot. Anyway - I did remove SD card (encrypted) at it seems that sot is better and performance increased. Need to investigate this.
----
update - there is no improvement in performance. 1 hr sot = 25% battery (and screen is not bright!). for me exynos is crap. I'm switching over to n910f

The one I have is 910F with SD chip dude.. I have rooted it now and using CM12.1.. working gr8.. But missing Stock Camera App and Fingerprint.. trying to install one de-bloated version on XDA ... and see
My S7 Edge Battery life is very strange , I use power saving mode (Mid) with Res set on FHD, and I can say, I maybe last 8 hours or so ? Maybe 4 hours screen on time. If I use the normal mode, the battery drains like hell. Yet, when I use max power saving , I can go hours without 1% dropping off my battery. Is this how the S7 Edges are or is my battery at fault somehow?
Note this was before Oreo and still is the same after.

My battery lasts 17 hours with 4 to 5 hours sot, depends as some days I hardly use my phone as much as other days
You can check your battery cycles and battery health percentage via the app "Phone info - Samsung" in the play store.
I ended up replacing the battery for that extra 5-10%+ from a new battery. Phone lasts a day or two depending on how much I use it, I'm not a heavy user but I do have Wi-Fi, 4G, go on reddit / browse etc). I charge every morning and night so pretty much only get to as low as 60% every day.
Is this original or fake guys
