Adding new font and make it system font? - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is that possible to add custom fonts into Android Wear and make them as system font? If so, how can I do that? I think I should first root the watch and place new fonts. But I don't know how to change one of them into system font. I think I should replace the font which originally used for certain language. Let say, my mother tongue is Klingon , and there's no language option for Klingon in Android Wear. So I think I should replace stocked English font with my Klingon font and set English in language setting. Or can I add my own language option for Klingon. Actually I don't want to change English as system language. But most of my notis and messages are written in Klingon. And when using normal unicode system, my Klingon language become miserable. Poor empire . So I have to use modified version of font to see my notis and messages properly while still using English as an system language. What do you think? Any idea...

How can I add hebrew font on my Kjam

I have an english ROM and wish to be able to read hebrew sms or surf on hebrew site.
Can you help?
Thank you
no one...
UP
hey.
you can add the 'hebrew fonts" to the windows directory.
BUT:
it will show the hebrew Backwards.
The only knows solution is to get Eyron Hebrew:
Here:
http://www.pocketpc.co.il
Nadavi.
I don't like the eyron software . I don't want my kjam to be fully in hebrew. I just want to be able to read and browse hebrew. that's all.
thank you
UP.
No one for hebrew encoding in PIE??
Did you try:
Hebrew Language Support 1.0.67 by Ectaco International, Inc.
or, the more complete:
Hebrew Language Support 4.23 by Paragon Technologie GmbH
You have here 3 options (for WM5):
1. Eyron Hebrew
2. PDAC Hebrew
3. Install fonts to the windows folder
In opt. 3 you will be able to read hebrew but backwards, so it pretty much sucks, but it is something. Surfing is not supported - but hey at least it's free
opt. 1 and 2 are good (Eyron is far better IMHO) and both include option for "Enabled" which means the interface stays in english but you get hebrew support (in PIE as well).
which fonts do i need?
which fonts do i need to put on the fonts folder?
i know i need tahoma and tahoma bold but i dont think its enough
cause i still cant see hebrew in my text messages.
so do i need any other fonts and if so which ones?
please help

Arabic Locale

Hi
I would like to start an Arabic Locale project for Android, to localize system menus. but I have no idea where to start ... where are system localization info is stored to start translating.
Thank you
Maybe you should start with the search button !

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=616384&highlight=arabic
I am aware of the posts you mentioned, what I am seeking is localization of system menus which is not addressed at the work in the links you provided.
If it was easy like you think Ayman Elsanad wont keep it , if you are looking to make the menu Arabic it will be great to get result , but i don't think is easy to do something like that
People are building locale information for their native languages that are not included in the system. so it can be done
i hope u can do it and u will inshallah
if you apply all locale you will see some languages dose not change menu as arabic local, thats mean which locale change the whole system its already supported by android not from locale app.

It's quite easy, but it depends on the ROM you are using. Some ROMs support specific languages (locales). To change the locale go to phone's "Settings" app. Tap on "Locale and text" entry and then tap on "Select locale" entry. Select your desired locale and reboot the device.
Sadly I have not seen Chinese locale in SG3 ROMs (probably because I was never looking for it). There is Korean locale in most of SG3 ROMs. Try flashing a couple of stock ROMs to see if they have Chinese locale or wait if someone replies which ROM is he using to get Chinese locale...

Thank you all the same……
Maybe my description is not clear enough ,I mean how to make the ROM support chinese by modifing some files of the ROM.
My english is not good enough, hope you can understand……

Oh, that's another matter...This would include translation of the corresponding files in the framework, and the OS itself. All .apk(s) need to be translated, which considers decompiling and the recompiling the whole .apk, hunting down the GUI .xml(s), adding the translation and so on...Isn't there Chinese Android translation/localization?
...and I forgot one very important thing, the Chinese fonts and grammar! This can cause many compatibility issues. As I understand, Chinese characters cannot be translated respectively from Alphabetical characters. This would involve coding/writing a new/separate module for decoding and encoding Chinese characters. If Chinese is similar to Korean, this is the place to start. Word prediction and autocerrect software would have to be written also - for the keyboard, new keyboard layout etc...A lot of work (assuming there is no Chinese localization for Android).

Thx a lot.
There are people who do the translation work on the Internet. But they are not able to turn every ROM to chinese version, especially when i find a ROM which i like from xda. I think i should try to find out how they do the work and learn it……

4.3[Regression] Contacts in Asian languages no longer in order in English interface

After updated to the latest 4.3, the order of Contacts (now labeled as "People") are broken. Names
in Asian languages no long appear in romanization order when system is set to a Latin language.
All those names with Asian characters are listed after English ones.
However, this is not the case in 4.2.2. It is more natural to order them according to their romanization
form. This change makes it almost impossible to use the Contacts with names in Asian languages
without settingthe global system language to Ansian ones.
Yeah , having the same issue as well..
:| ,i 'm using global system language to english at the moment
