Got confused about Note 3 and Knox current situation

So guys, i got a little bit confused about knox 0x0 - 0x1 - root - custom roms etc.
I own a note 3, when it was with kitkat i've installed twrp through odin and got "knox 0x1 (1)" then i went with official lollipop firmware, and now i've reflashed twrp for installing cm12.1 getting knox 0x1 (2). From what i understand, there is no way to revert knox to 0x0, isn't it?
If i had a brand new note 3 with lollipop and knox 0x0 could I install custom roms without tripping it? or even get root permissions on the stock rom?
what also keep me confused is: why there are so many alert in the note 3 section on xda about tripping knox while in the s5/s6/note4 sections everything seems to be much easier? can you please explain me?
PS: execuse me if i've had not been so clear but english is not my first language
Nope, the device's virginity is lost, that baby is done, unless you have the Exynos version, where KNOX status could be reset
Thanks for answering. So i got a friend that would like to install the cm12.1 on his knox 0x0 N9005. will he trip it?
Not much idea mate. But I think there is a possibility that he might not trip it, at least I have seen something like that. Obviously the standard method of flashing a ROM via Odin or or from custom recovery will trip it, but I think there's a way to avoid that, not the usual way of course. You might ask to those who have already done it, or in the CM topic itself, if there is one.

Rooting Note 3 need confirmation

Okay so I'm fairly new to the forums but I'm somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to rooting and flashing custom Roms.. At least one the Galaxy S3. So I now have a note 3 and I'd like to root and install a custom recovery and then from there a custom Rom after a little more research.. Because.. Eff touch Wiz. Now I got the note from a friend and it's been fully updated knox hasn't been enabled but has been fully updated and I believe the same thing for the security policies. Now this is where my question comes in I found a method on google (galaxynote3root.com) to root and install the recovery I just wanna know if anyone can confirm this method is safe with the new updates and what not? I'd rather not brick the phone obviously lol anyways the phone model is sm-n9008w unlocked but was a Rogers phone.. Android 5.0 stock firmware and recovery knox 2.3 any help would be appreciated
Which note 3 do you have? Are you sure it's not the sm-n900w8? Depending on the ROM you install, you may need to update to the latest bootloader and modem.
Edit: read your post again. Since stock LP is on the phone, Knox has been installed and the phone would be running the doc4 or doh1 firmware.
The simplest way to root would be to install TWRP and flash supersu from TWRP. You're going to trip the knox counter from 0x0 to 0x1. Also, make sure reactivation lock has not been enabled.

Knox resetting bootloader for Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos?

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a knox resetting bootloader for Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos,
like for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? I've read that there is a way to reset the knox from 0x1 to 0x0 for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in this post :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52329946#post52329946 with a bootloader,so I was wondering If there is a knox resetting bootloader for the Galaxy S5 Duos (SM-
G900FD)?
And is this protocol for resetting the knox from this site : http://mobilexbi.blogspot.mk/2015/02/reset-knox-counter-any-samsung-device.html?m=1 true ???
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!
There are some devices running a combo of a specific SoC/older version of knox that *can* be reset.....Unfortunately this does NOT apply to ANY variant of the S5.
Having read through the guide on your final link, I can say with utter confidence that the method described is purely the method for flashing a stock firmware and has absolutely no effect on knox whatsoever......
If you trip knox on an S5, it's gonna stay tripped....forever....

Dear keithross39,
firstly I would like to thank you for replying to my thread!
And I have one more question:Can Triangleaway somehow help me
p.s And I've read in some posts that some custom roms or recoveries can revert knox to 0x0.Is this true?
And I have an idea:Can the knox be installed and then reinstalled?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!
Sorry fella....triangle away has nothing to do with knox.....All it does is remove the yellow triangle that appears after rooting and flashing custom software.....as I said in my previous reply, once knox has been tripped, it remains tripped no matter what you flash to the device. The knox counter (according to Chainfire) is hardware based in that it is an 'eFuse' buried somewhere inside one of the 'chips' on the device. When people talk about 'tripping' knox, they are essentially describing this eFuse being 'blown' which is why it can't be reset.
You could flash any/every conceivable combination of rom/kernel/bootloader/app etc continuously for the next 10 years, and it won't make a scrap of difference when it comes to trying to reset knox.......

Galaxy S5 variants g901f

I have an galaxy S5 plus (G901f) running android 5.0.2 on G901FXXU1BOC4. I searched all over the forum without finding answer.
I want to know if it's easier to root this phone on android 5.0.2 or on 6.0?
I would like to know if there is a method to root without loosing knox waranty or at least reinstall knox waranty on both versions?
Hi!
Root always trigger KNOX counter
Do you want still root your phone?
I really want to root, I always rooted all my phones but for example If it triggers knox. Then somehow I have a problem with the phone and want to send it to the warranty, can I flash a stock rom and get knox back to 0x0?
I meant is there a way to recover knox 0x0 status on a rooted phone?
