Have anyone noticed that after the .435 firmware update, the "Stay awake" settings is enabled by default and keeps coming back enabled every time phone is rebooted?
It doesn't matter whether it's rooted phone or non-rooted phone, but it's the same.
Mine is disabled.....and I just rebooted 3 times....still disabled.
No problem here.

That's interesting. I got this phone as a replacement and I already have a charging issue with this. Even after sending for repair it came back saying no issues found. I tried to flash the firmware more than 3 times and every time I notice is this "Stay awake" is enabled by default and refues to be kept disabled after reboot.
Looks like I have a bad phone in my hand !!

Yeah, thats really weird. I dont know why you cant disable it. I have no issues there. Maybe someone else can help you with that.
As for the charging, did you try completely draining your battery dead to the point where your phone shuts down and then fully charging it? Sometimes, that could help.

Thanks for the reply.
Yep, tried that as well, but doesn't seems to be doing any good. I've another thread here. But nothing seems to be working
From the attached screen shot I'm guessing sweep to wake uses a fair amount of battery? Screen on time is 10 mins at time of screen shot.

Looks pretty normal to me , the first 15% always gets sucked down quick , its pretty normal even without s2w , disable s2w bet u get about the same , s2w isn't a finished product yet u should expect " issues " for a while

That screenshot wouldn't tell you anything. You'd need to post a screenshot of the kernel wakelocks from the app BBS.
Log the battery usage with the currentwidget then update please.

How would that tell you anything? You need to determine power usage while the screen is locked and off, and if there is anything that is activating wakelocks. Ideally, you should test with and without the swipe feature by setting a "custom reference point" in BBS and locking the screen for 2-4 hours and posting both screenshots for a decent before/after comparison.
I shall take all your advice on board and report back. I'm running AOKP and faux kernel beta7 on power save mode. Will wait till this charge dies then do a charge cycle with S2W running and one without
Cheers
PS the only reason i posted so soon is usually before i stayed using S2W my battery wouldn't have dropped by that much already

It would tell you if the phone is sleeping or awake. Yes BBS is better, but there is nothing wrong with taking a round about way either.

From what I remember, current widget is only a widget. Correct me if I'm wrong. So, you would need to have your device on and awake in order to read it. Or, does it graph awake times over time?

I am correcting you because you are wrong
Current widget logs the current every set seconds. 300 is my choice btw.
Wake up in the morning, check the log and do this without s2w next day.
have you waken up? =P i'd like to see some results. thanks in advide to those who test this.

Good morning everyone. I recently purchased a Moto X Pure during the recent Amazon sale. Coming from an HTC Thunderbolt, it is like night and day!
My one complaint is that the battery percentage, both on the taskbar and in Battery settings, never goes up when charging. For example, this morning I plugged my phone in at 46%. It says its charging, other apps I have downloaded to monitor battery activity say its charging, but the percentage never goes up. The only way I can get it to display properly is to do the seven-second reboot.
Apparently I am not allowed to post images or links, despite being a member for years
Any help shedding light on the subject would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
EDIT: This has been going on while on stock 5.1.1, stock 6.0, and TruPureMM; using both the QC charger, a regular charger, and USB charging.
I really hope I don't have to RMA or send it in to Motorola. I have read many nightmare stories and I dread having to go back to my old phone, even just for a couple weeks.
EDIT 2: Here are the images: https: //imgur .com /a /zoulE (had to bork it in order for me to post it)
That's so odd. Mine doesn't do this.
Hell, I just glanced at my phone and saw it shift from 94% to 95% live.
I'm running stock 6.0, rooted, and do have status bar tweaks enabled via Xposed and GravityBox.
So there is that.

I left the phone plugged in overnight using a standard charger this time. Did not go up one percent, but the battery is fully charged.

I am charging my phone now, and will try this right away! A question though: does this set your percentage to 100 from whatever it is currently being displayed? I remember using this way back with my Thunderbolt, but do not remember if that is the case.
EDIT: Yes I remember this app. I don't think it will help my situation. If my battery indicator doesn't go up, it won't hit 100. I guess I am not seeing the connection.
I decided to just get a replacement from Amazon. At least I don't have to deal with Lenovo's "customer service."
Thanks to everyone that tried to help me with this issue!
How can I turn this off? It's driving me crazy. It does like a double vibrate very time the screen times out or I hit the power button to turn it off...

I've got the same issue with vibrations. When I disabled notifications for Light Flow it stopped.
Contacted the support for Light Flow and got this answer:
Hi
I'm aware of this from other users and so yesterday I ordered a oneplus 5 to specifically look into this. It should be delivered early next week and I'll then be seeing what I can do.
Cheers, Andrew

Thanks, lets update this thread when we get a better answer. Subscribed
Subscribed. Having this problem as well with Light Flow. Hopefully he can figure it out! Would also be really nice if he could figure out how to control the blink rate as it doesn't seem to make a difference what the rate setting is in Light Flow.
This issue happens during a call too with the proximity sensor leaves the ear enough to turn the screen on/off.
Will you please keep us up to date if you have further communications with the developer of Light Flow and hopefully pass on the feedback on blink rate?
Update available, fixed the problem ?

Any way to root the Pixel on DP4 without booting up the Pixel? I don't want that my Pixel get encrypted.
I'm sorry but is the launcher version still at ODR-4023749?
Numbering Notification Badge
I've read on an article that they've added the option of showing numbering notification badge which, in my opinion, is better than the useless dots. Could you please show us this guys in screenshots?

I think you just press the home button while in a supported app, but I have read that YouTube has had problems with that earlier and I don't think they've fixed it yet.

I have this installed for a few nights and only lose about 5% a night. I turn everything off at night (data,BT,GPS).
When the screen is on or streaming pandora it goes down very fast.
