I cannot get my phone rooted at all! The only thing I haven't tried yet is hooking it up to a pc. Can it be done on this phone? TIA!
If you are talking about G901F and you are on stock rom the only way to root it is with Odin a CF root of Chainfire, but it will trip your Knox warranty

I recently got a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 and I rooted it with Towelroot. I am thinking about maybe trading it in for the HTC One M8 or the Note 3. With Towelroot my boot screen now has the custom logo with the lock, which I don't think they would accept for a trade in. So my question is: Is there a way to unroot my S5 without using SuperSU, because then that would disable Knox, so that everything is back to stock?

Use Odin to flash your original stock Rom which is available from www.sammobile.com or www.samsung-updates.com
Hello I buy a galaxy s4 value edition and I don't fine any root for my phone I search a few forum and I see there is a lot of people in my situation with the I-9515. I hear the Cf-auto root with odin work but some people activate the knox 0x1.

Hey as i know that it's possible to root that model without tripping knox, but custom recoverys are different story.
So is it possible to emulate cwm/twrp with safestrap on that international g900f as all guides that I could find over the internet where for at&t or Verizon models, can I use those guides or would my attempt to install safestrap just end up bricking my phone.

Did anyone here tested, did it work or bricked the G900F
I believe I have a new version of factory bootlocked G900F that will be requiring these.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 - 16 GB White.
I also recently found that if I root it and install a custom ROM the knox will activate and I will lose my warranty....
Is there any way I can root it and install a custom ROM without activating the knox and losing the warranty?
I had a HTC Desire... but i'm totally newbie with this phone.

Hey guys,
I'm about to root a pair of Canadian Note 3's that are already unlocked and working with Wind.
One is my wife's phone, running Android 4.4.2. Mine is still running 4.3. Is there a way to root them without tripping Knox?
What are the best ROM's for general business use, while maintaining all S-Pen features and apps. Is there a a Note 4 TW rom, or something similar? I'd rather have something more user friendly on my wife's phone after it's been rooted.
How do I install safestrap without rooting first? Just trying to root without tripping Knox.
Thanks in advance. :good:
