Can anyone recommend a good Keyboard or Touchpad? - M.O.J.O. General

Can anyone recommend a good Keyboard or Touchpad for the M.O.J.O? I mostly would like to have the touchpad function.

Check Mad Catz keyboards here, are very good and works: http://madcatz.com/gamesmart-products/

if its just for basic stuff, i'm using a cheap sumvision wireless with touchpad - cant post link but plenty on ebay, uses another little wireless usb dongle like the bt controller one

I ended up going with a Rii R8+ from Amazon for $20...I love it!

i use the microsoft touch keyboard, with integrated touchpad

Bluetooth Mouse?

Can I use a Bluetooth mouse for my EEE Pad Transformer?
If so, any suggestions as to which one to get?
Thanks!!
Oh and one other question.. with the dock can you use a wireless mouse (i.e. plugin the dongle into the dock usb port)?
Yes you can. I've been using my Microsoft mini notebook mouse which is just straight bluetooth (doesn't even come with a dongle) - worked absolutely fine right off the bat.
My only issue is that the moment is a bit slow for my liking, and there's no setting to change the cursor movement speed.
Apple Magic Mouse should work fine..
If you want a cheap option and have a Fry's nearby I've found that this Inland bluetooth travel mouse works great with the Asus Transformer. The catch being that it didn't work a bit prior to the 3.1 OTA upgrade but after that it's been working great. It's a nice portable size and pretty adequate for as much as I use it.

Good luck,

I bought cheapest bluetooth mouse out there (the producer is Manta or sth like that) and it work fine, very fine.
I am using my Logitech mini mouse from my Laptop and pluged into the USB it works fine.. I am thinking that a Bluetooth mouse would be kinda nice though..

Has anyone managed to get a bluetooth mouse to work just with the pad,i.e no dock involved at all? I ask as I have a very fancy ms bluetooth mouse but my TF wont see it as it hasn't got the drivers which are added to my laptop which , obviously, are designed for windows and not android..not sure how to get around this issue short of buying the dock and just plugging into the usb with a cheapo corded mouse which kinda defeats the object of what I'd like to do

I'm using the least expensive one I could find, a Gigabyte I got from Newegg. Turns out it's nicer than any other bluetooth I've tried. I got it to use with the pad and it pairs and works fine with or without the dock connected.
There are no drivers for android for any mouse, so as far as I know there's no way to map the buttons. There is however a setup section for the mouse where you can adjust the cursor speed.
edited to add: doh! - I just noticed how old this thread is. I had done a search and this was near the top. I guess I forgot where I was.

I am not sure if it will work. Yesterday I used a similar wireless keyboard and it worked but it was a different brand.
I seen a nice small keyboard at best buy and for a mouse i use my handy smandy logitech trackball......;-}
That will most likely work.but there are some android keyboards out there with function buttons for android.I have a solidtek mini keyboard with track pad like on notebook. It works very well and solid built spill resistant.with 3.1 mouse works as well its Bluetooth as well.good Luck

I am using a USB hub on my Iconia to connect the keyboard folio case listed on Amazon for the Iconia and a USB mouse, and it works flawlessly. It turns my Iconia into a netbook!

wireless kb touchpad work?

do the touchpads work such as this one
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Touc...1028/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1311788822&sr=8-2
I don't think so, it says it uses a USB receiver, so it would need software to activate that receiver. Best is to stick with a Bluetooth keyboard. With Bluetooth, you don't need a USB Dongle/Receiver. I'm using a Bluetooth Motorola Xoom Keyboard with my Acer A500, works fine. A couple things dont work on it, like mute and the Music shortcut, but that can be livable. Acer has a BT Keyboard, that I might think of getting if it's cheaper off Ebay.

I think it will work just fine I have a cheep USB keyboard and mouse that use there own USB reciever.the touch pad is nothing more then a mouse.I also have a keyboard with built in touchpad solidtek brand Bluetooth it works well also

[Q] Bluetooth Mouse and keyboard?

I am int he market for a bluetooth mouse and keyboard that will be compatable with the acer a500 but I don't want to break the bank. Can someone recommend a BT keyboard and mouse? If there are any bundle deals out there that would work with the a500 then I'm all for it.
BT keyboard and mouse
I found that the Logitech keyboard for my ps3 works great with no setup. Even the built in mousepad works great and I think I paid $50 for it last year. It even works on my Mac mini.
Best deal and nice feel since it is right and full size..
Hope that helps.
Tom
Thanks for the reply . I ended up getting the logitec tablet keyboard for android and Microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000. They work great together and look good too .
Feels like im on a laptop lol.

List of Bluetooth compatible mouse / keyboard

Since there is so much confusion about this argument, I decided to start a thread about it.
Please post only native Bluetooth mouse and keyboard working with ouya without need of external receiver.
So far for me I got a mini bt keyboard to work (will update with model name shortly), and no luck with apple Magic Mouse. Please post your experience!

Subscribing to be up-to-date on this.
Another useful info would be posting if these keyboard/mice (specially mice) that work can use its scroll wheels and/or touch capabilities (if any).
I had no problems whatsoever with my hp touchpads bluetooth keyboard paring and using a microsoft mouse and dongle. No setup at all for the mouse when using the usb dongle, the touchpad keyboard was easily paired like any bt device.
Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 - pairs, works no problem, speed and scrolling all fine.
Leicke Sharon Aluminium Keyboard for Samsung Smartphones & Tablets - pairs but doesn't work, connection is constantly lost leading do buffering of the input and autorepeat.
My wireless Logitech MK710 set works just fine with CM10.

I was able to plug in my Logitech Mx revolution wireless keyboard pc and mouse dongle. It picked it up and works with clockworkmod. so not even a need to buy a Bluetooth keyboard. I have several though.
The Motorola bt keyboard and mouse for tablets works great. Had them for a year or more already.

As cheap as it is this keyboard/mouse combo has worked for me. It's a little bit of a pain to get the mouse to pair correctly but it worked eventually.

I've been using the PS3 KeyPad with no issues. I recommend this Bluetooth keyboard because it sits nicely over the face of the PS3 controller and looks really sleek!

I've Googled around on how to get the PS3 Keypad to work and I haven't been able to find anything except how to connect the PS3 controller. I've tried pairing the Keypad the same as the controller and it did not work. Do you have a link on where it explains how to pair the PS3 Keypad? Your help would be greatly appreciated
Apple magic mouse, keyboard, and trackpad all work for me, simultaneously. has anyone noticed, though, that reception is horrible? especially outside of 5 feet?

How did you manage to get yours to work. Mine connects to my Apple bluetooth keyboard, but nothing happens after that.
