I do not use Xposed. I guess I would not know to tell you if it works
does it have the advanced driver camera from xdaeb.?
can we change dpi like 420?
and regarding some visual deffects , ive read athat we should delete a folder. what was hte path and name o folder?

Just use any DPI change APP.
About the visuals - it's "cust" folder in root.
I do not know about advanced drivers.
Lost recovery + Download mode
Hi, I used to have Optimus Rom 1.4.1 and TWRP 2.6.0.0. I installed this rom and I thought that the battery was going a little bit faster and was trying to use another rom, but then on recovery it appears that "secure boot" message and 'vol up + usb cable' is going to the normal off charging. I dunno what happened. I will try to enter download mode at home (I'm at work now) but why this was caused? Lost recovery?! It's a hell of a problem to reinstall stock and them a LP rom on my D805. Have anyone experienced that? Regards!

I installed xposed v79 sdk21 arm and it is working.
I don't know how could one loose both recovery and download after flashing a rom but happened to me. The only problem that I see in this rom apart the bugs is that on my device the battery looks like a countdown timer when using and when I stop using it also stops, or I turn on with several % less. But I really loved the "small" visual profile of the icons and everything else. If anyone has a clue on how can I fix this , having no download mode, no recovery but still can boot on android system and use it normally. I would appreciate. :good:

do this for recovery.
turn off phone.
then press vol key down make sure its beign pressed.
press power button, then when logo appears just let go of power button and press again keep pressed until you see factory reset screen click on yes and the nexy on yes and itl take you to recovery.

Hello my friend, I was without recovery too, as cited, but I did the following, installed CloudyFa D805 version of AutoRec and installed, It has flashed recovery 2.7.0.0 on my cellphone and then I wiped everything and installed another rom. I'm again with recovery but did not check yet if I have download mode. You can save this idea for further issues like mine, that had the android running normally but without recovery and download modes... Thanks for your reply!

G2 tweaksbox is not compatible with lollipop, but G3 tweaksbox works. For this rom, you could also try G4 twb.

Looks like it is pretty much the same thing, just designed around the G4. Since this is a true G4 port, G4 TWB may have better compatibility.

bot sure about 4k cause on phone it looks ok, as for the config aroma thing. is cause devs speaks spanish, and english too but this is a BETA am sure when they release it it will have more support for other variants as well as english language in aroma. i dont know russian and by instint i flashed russian rom LOL good thing d800 was very clear. ill ask them to add english language. right know they should be releasing 2 roms. one is stock. and the 4UIX V4. soon, then cheloz will start working on this full true port of G4.

one is plain stock i guess, not really sure about this one. maybe just stock with optimization idk. ill ask. then the other soon to be released is like interface looks like 4G 4UIX, example cloudy,no name,power g2 ect. but this one has v10 camera. i know a few details. and then this one on this thread is a real port of G4 the same room in G4 working on G2. the 4UIX is just port of apps.
I believe G4 is running marshmallow now. So upcoming release for G2 would be with marshmallow?

Hey I started this post so people can put their apps from anothers versions that work in GT-I9506. Because in apps section are no apps for our phone. So at Start most of these apps and mods are someboby others creations, so let the credits go where do they belong!!! I have installed note 4 weather app in my 4.4.2 it is from albe´s NOTE4 apps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/themes-apps/exclusive-note-4-apps-collection-t2882577. S-Voice works too, but it is better to put in system/app. Right permissions 0644/ rw--r--r--. allso pas2001 bootanimations work. albe´s s5 music player works. i'm trying to activate the one hand mode, (easyonehand.apk) do you have info about it?

Witch one of them? In my phone I can't use it it wont work. Not even with xposed. Try to put in apps or priv.apps set permissions, reboot and set phone to easymode. I don't have easymode at all.

No, I meen witch 4.4.2? I have I9506XXCNJ1 and if you have deo it is not stock, you have root.... And if you folloed the instructions and it wont work it wont. When I know your rom I can try to make you one that works.

i have CNI1
i think i have understood why it doesn't works, i need to edit android.policy.jar for our 9506, but i don't know how...
i've found another one here now i've restored the nandroid backup prior to te deodexing...so it's just stock with root
this mod, anyway, need a deodexed rom
DeHawk. Allready deodexed and there is autoroot and everything in 1 page. Android policy.jar wont be enough, but I found one promising mod. I'm gonna try to make mod there for you. I'm ripping it from s5 mod for 9506.

in the last thread mentioned, the one for 9505, page 2, they just edited policy to make it compatible to 9500
i don't like to install a custom rom now because i'm scared about eventual bugs...with my old phone i'm finding bugs...now...after a year of use...i don't want that happen again...and i just don't know what this rom can do and what not...when i know the stock rom well, maybe i'll look for something more...

Ok, but you cant use the mod with standard, you need permessive. After you install permessive you can edit your own androidpolicy.jar and download from EX.DeHawk's allready modded secsettings and edit only needed lines. I have used modded rom three years and if rom ok, no bugs. And in DeHawk,s rom is no bugs. It's better than original.

ok i've taken a policy from here and i used the file from the 9505 mod, i have deodex but no permissive, now i see the settings, i can activate it, but it doesn't work :crying:
you are talking about permissive but is not mentioned in the threads of this mod, anyway now i try to force permissive with an app and i'll report back...
ps. now is permissive, doesn't work.
it'd strange that works on every s4 models but the 9506...
Yes that is proplem with this phone. We know that it works with every other... I'm gonna try something and report back. It should work with those modifications.

You need to download tw camera app for cm. There are many versions to choose from just look it up in here xda.
And for washwash. I just got back from holiday, and no success yet. I made one version and it didn't work. Starting to think that its too mutch for my talents. I have one more option to try. Porting it from some rom.
But if it's keyboard that you need, that is easy: just install LG keyboard with onehand options. But I check out the porting from rom. After when I found rom where it's working.

i've found this it's for E300S, the eastern version of the 9506, i tried to download it from here with the help of google translator but i can't successfully complete the download, only around 25% and then it stop
anyway i wish i've never bought it, there is just nothing for that phone, even the usb mass storage is bugged as hell.
ps. no, the eastern variant is the E330S

Sorry that aswer. Wrong language... That rom what you was refering is not straight compatible with gt-i9506. There is some difference in software and there is some difference in hardware too. Arter97 can tell you more. And that skt rom removes normal tw-rom. There is awailable xploded one-hand mode. Allso when googled one hand mode for s4 you get one hand mode for 4.4.2. Not tamida's version. But it wont install. I tested. But when I extracted it and installed it one by one with root explorer I got it working.
If you are on B180 (Lollipop!) and want to use XPOSED (xprivacy etc.) you can use this:

you need the installer beta 3 too!
No problems during the installation (~5 min after first boot!)
Did you already tried modules and got a clear idea of what works and what crashes?
How are you finding B180, compared to B371?
I got many frustrations using B371. Tried all available custom roms. WBT was the best one i have found.
But all problems i had, are forgotten since i am back on B180.
maybe i returned if wbt is up on B371. Maybe....
Edit: tried to use "xprivacy". This module was the reason for me to install xposed. It work as expected. Same with "greenify" too.

Yes, I agree with you. I´m also back to B180.
Battery is better and no bug at all.
I think the reason we cannot update to B3xx no more is because Huawei classified them as beta or "early adopter" versions, as it was mentioned in HiCare. Anyway, I only miss the battery graph and the possibility to program shutdown and wakeup of the phone.
I installed xposed, but uninstalled it. Too messy for my taste.

two suggestions for it:
1.) go to setup/Battery and touch "battery time" (Xd XXh XXs on battery), than you will see the battery graph
2.) use th app 'timed toggles' to switch into flight mode. This spend a lot of battery! I have a drain of max. 2% during the night now.

I wonder if there is a way of getting even more deep sleep state with tasker
an other nice try to get into deeper sleep could be to use xposed with greenify modul too.

You can not use the xposed version for B180 on B371 too because it is SDK21!!!!!
The version you need for B371 is SDK23 -> xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam
BTW: I suggest you to stay at B180 for now! I tried every version of stock and custom rom that are available of b371 and changed back to B180!
for me B371 has notification faults at Whatsapp; much more heat and battery draining; problems with tasker app because the new kind of 'deepsleep'. (did a fullwipe at every change!)

Hmmm, yes, but for now i don't like custom ROM ( yes emui is a custom...) , then i don't use whatsapp, but the biggest probleme remains the "return when hit the sensor"
I found some topic to hide the navbar by modifying the .prop
For the synchro, i just added the widget " power control " ( my translation : i'm french ^^ )
And yes, i just installed the 371 to see changes, i just hope the return of the "back button" or a way to add it in the build.prop otherwise => back to the best version : B180 ^^

You have to format data this happens randomly with any roms or try to flash different gapps might work

Yes
ROM is stable and battery life is better. Pixel blue is the stock color of this ROM and fingerprint works nicely. No random reboots and SuperSU works with no problems
But the ROM does not have some features or options which other ROMs offer. No option to turn off screenshot sounds and there is no option to disable voltage and temperature text which is shown on lockscreen. Also there is no option to edit power menu and no pocket detection.
No pixel lock and unlock sounds are present in this ROM.
Also some more problems I have encountered here are-
The bottom part of status part where settings, user, etc tabs are located don't open whenever I tap on them. I had to restart the device to make them work.
Whenever I restart, shutdown or restart to recovery, com.qualcomm.shutdownlistener has unfortunately stopped working comes up in back.
When I go to battery to check the battery consumption, there is an app called 39999. I don't know what is that.

Sorry cant confirm any of the problem you mentioned status bar is just fine no issue and no app named 3999 etc in stats no force close (clean flash is recommended)

Thanks for reply. I did clean install. The status bar problem was solved with a restart and the 3999 app is no longer in stats. I don't know why it was showing that time. Thanks for sharing such nice ROM. Any news that developer will maintain the build? Thanks again.

Please, can U answer me: I do not have phone with me right now, cuz it is friends phone, i did installed above Stock Nougat 7.1.1 Rom which name is Odyssey Nougat Rom on J5 2016 FN. Now, my friend like that Rom but he doesn't like Samsung Keyboard port from N8... He need keyboard like it was on Stock Rom or one which looks like Xperia Phonepad keyboard. I tried everything, installed Xperia apk keyboard, but nothing works. Keyboard shows on System/Language and Keyboard settings but can not be activated....
That is shorter story Any help would be really appreciated. Thank U very much. Just in case, ill post this post on some other treads or/and on separate thread as well.

Well, i tried that, but can not activate keyboard even keyboard installed... grey button at settings that can not be switched... O, yeah, 2 things, one mentioned before: Rom is based on Stock 7.1.1 but it is Custom TW 7.1.1 ans second: i did not rooted yet...

I have just installed the xperia keyboard on J5 2016 FN 5 Minutes ago.The procedure was install apk then go to app permissions and allow all for xperia keyboard then reboot the phone.After reboot just go to settings Language and input,on screen keyboard,Manage keyboards and add xperia keyboard button turns on you can then go to default keyboard choose xperia and download languages.No problem with this.Should work on all nougat roms even odyssey.Just google the apk am sure you will find one that works.

Yes my phone is rooted but should not make any difference as is just an apk install not flashing anything to the system.Good Luck.

First boot will take 6-8 mins
i recommend u to use brevent app from playstore for more battery
and universal gms doze if you like.

First of all THNX for the rom.
Had some installation problems:
First time installing rom it was stuck at 95%
Second time installing rom it was stuck at "next"
Third time installing rom it keeps on booting up everytime (could not go past Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge logo)
fourth time installing rom everything went normal, after 5min on Samsung logo device booted and could go on with the settings.
Will test how the rom performs but everything seems smooth for now, soo thnx again!
edit: and yes I flashed magisk!

3 things I found so far that are not working or working correctly
1. Wifi network is not saved, so everytime I disable wifi, shut down the phone, or connect to another wifi and want to go back I have to login again. No big problem only irritating.
2. Samsung App store not working (but this is no problem for me just letting you know).
3. Samsung theme is not working, probably because of the night theme? (but also no problem for me, I like the night theme again only letting you know).
Have one question "flashing Magisk or superSU is a must", but after that can I unroot? or will that end in a bootloop? because I can't use snapchat now, I think I need to install snapchat and login before I install Magisk to get it work.
Again thnx for sharing the rom, and thank your friend for me!

1.Flash so called kernel.the one I'm sharing now is latest one.and the one that is used in the Rom is old one...

Note:- you can use other kernel too instead of mine...
2.yes galaxy app is crashing...you can delete it in system/app or privapp..forgot it's location.? But u can delete it there.
3.It's Weird issue. Other users didn't faced it but I'll let him know.
4.to use snap chat while on root is pretty simple.
Goto magisk manager tap on top left corner(side bar)
Go to magisk hide and search for Snapchat and tick it..now you can use Snapchat without issue
Note:- Before doing this you should install Snapchat freshly and do not open it..After installing it from play store directly go to magisk manager and do the steps as I told...now u .can open Snapchat and use it.

Already tried that, but is not working. Just tried to uninstall magisk but could not boot up(as expected but had to try ) So no snapchat for me i'm guessing
edit: after uninstlling magisk manager I could login to snapchat. and then installing magisk manager again and both work fine!
And flashing your kernel from the link fixed wifi problem

I have installed it on my phone and it installed fine. But after first restart, in initial setup it keeps showing the screen " checking for updates" and never goes on next screen. I have checked reinstalling the rom 2, 3 times and changing the kernel but same problem is happening.

Ok first of all do not connect to internet or wifi during initial setupwizard(first boot) and check it...

I checked it without internet but it is asking for internet connection to continue setup....

Presently this Rom is not in development...
uhm I have a problem. when setting up the phone... everything is mirrored and my hardware buttons don't work.
Did I do something wrong?

U flashed wrong kernel..flash the kernel that supports ur device and go to dialer and type *#2663# and u will see a window and on that there will be a button called touchfwupdate...tap on it...everything will work fine
