Thanks for your reply.
I did the factory reset twice, first time I got the same message, second time finaly the download was Ok and the phone restart in order to install the update but after about 2 minutes of installing (showing the android logo) it restarted again and start the phone normaly and show the message "unable to install the update".
After I tried several times to download the update again but it show the same message "Fail Downloading is not possible to validate correctly"

Install twrp, download the update from xda and flash in twrp is the easiest way.
Of course I wouldn't try it without being unlocked.

[Q] GPE Virgin ROM is getting official OTA updates?

So I had the S4 from Rogers which I believe is the i337m. I flashed the Virgin Rom which is a 4.3 Google Play Edition Rom (my phone also says that it is a i9505G in the settings now) and a few times now, I get a message in the notification shade that a system update has been downloaded and needs to be installed. It says that it is the 4.3 edition update (even though I'm already on a 4.3 ROM) but when I click to install it, it just boots into TWRP and does nothing. I'm wondering, if I remove TWRP and return to stock recovery, will my phone install the update that it keeps prompting me to install, and somehow make my phone react like a regular GPE phone with OTA updates?

No, even if you return to stock recovery. You still won't be able to apply the new update. It will fail.

I'm not sure about TWRP, but if they don't have the correct buildprops that are expected by the OTA zip, you wont be able to install it.
I had the official clockwork recovery installed on my i9505G. When it tried to install the official OTA, it downloaded and booted into CWM and tried to install, but since this recovery is built for i9505, the buildprops are wrong, so the OTA fails to install. I extracted CWM and changed the device build properties to match what are on the stock i9505G. Then I booted into that CWM and used "adb sideload ..." to install the update which is still saved in your /cache partition. Since the update will break superuser/su, i then used "adb sideload ..." again to install the zip for superuser again.

Unfortunately SAE has stopped.

i tried updating to an rooted kitkat version as we as get the Native hotspot going for my Sprint GS4.. however i did something wrong and now. i keep getting pop ups stating "unfortunately, SAE has stopped as well as many other programs.. how can i get this fixed.. i have tried factory reset, and to return to an stock firmware, but i cant get odin to pass. it keeps failing.. I have downloaded all the necessary stock firmware files, drivers etc.. . I can get a recovery to flash,, but the pop-ups for "stopped apps" still appear.. and i cant get pass them.. .
Same issue here
I have tried odin with stock tar and it fails I have no idea where to go next. I am sure it has something to do with the services.jar and services.odex files but how do you get around that.

Dude here is your answer use odin and install clockworkmod latest addition... then download stock kit kat zip put it on your sd card and install via clockworkmod. This work for me cause I was having the same issue. Peace out.
Also having this issue. It started before I rooted. First I did a factory reset, (and assuming that would fix the issue on a completely stock unrooted phone) decided if I was doing a reset there would be no safer time for me to root. So I CF-Autorooted and enabled native hotspot. I believe this is possibly somehow related to my phone and the play market because updating or installing apps seemed to be the common element triggering them to start failing. Google Search would fail over and over every half second after I dismissed the notification making the phone all but unusable, so I did another factory reset, and now SAE (presumably samsung account setup?) is what fails without even the half second in between, completely unusable. I'm afraid my last hope is to one-click it.

Nexus 4 OTA 5.1 Update error

I'm getting the OTA update to Android 5.1, it downloads, asks me to restart, then fails with an error screen and the robot lying on its back. The phone then reboots itself into the 5.0.1 firmware.
The phone is rooted, is anyone else getting the same issue. Are there any logs I can look at to find out why?
Thansk

Install Interupted

Hello,
Whenever I go to perform the software update it goes to reboot into recovery to update and gets to about 25 to 26 percent before installs fails. After it reboots it has an error message stating that the install was interrupted. I have both factory data reset the device and tried using Samsung smart switch to update it. Smart switch says its the latest firmware is installed even though the phone keeps telling me there is an update available. Any ideas?

Same here. Were you able to get the update installed? If I cant get the update install, I will have to root, backup and then flash the update file myself.

Please help me

Okay, so I successfully rooted, unlocked bootloader etc. Then I went on play store and all of a sudden my favorite apps weren't compatible? They were before
So I try to unroot
I successfully got rid of twrp and put the original Huawei recovery in. Then I factory reset thinking it would lock bootloader, and kill root. Well, it killed root, bootloader is still unlocked. So I try to do the erecovery, failed. The dload folder on sdcard, failed. Even tried to do the hard reset in recovery, which got to 20% and then stopped.
Now, when it runs on, there's no keyboard, or way to type. System update has disappeared from the settings menu, and I can't do anything. Someone please tell me I don't have a pretty paperweight right now.
Anyone?
