plz help

Hi all,
I am in dire need of some help. I wipe / formatted my phone in TWRP. I am now trying to reflash a rom, any rom..., back into my phone.
However when I try flashing in TWRP I get an error
Comparing TZ version TZ.BF.2.c3-2........ to TZ.BF.2.............
assert failed: asus.verify_trustzone("TZ.BF.2.c3-2........") == "1"

You need to be on stocked MM before you can flash CM13+ based ROM. Go to this link,

The fix is found on post number 2. Also, make sure you have the latest twrp.
Edit: What is your phone? Z00L or Z00T?

its cm14, and is also available for ZE550KL
bUt u can't use xposed framework if u use it, bcs of WIP,

I try to flash latest firmware in stoke recovery but no i can't update to mm

Flash the twrp, flash the trust zone fix then flash your ROM, GAPPs. Make sure you download the right files for your device.

I dont think miui 8 is ported in your device but you can make it look like it by finding icons on Google Play.

Hey bro i am asks for the Google boot.img and the set up wizard only this two things for asus ZenFone 2 laser ze550kl.....Not for the rom,I already using RR NOUGAT ROM WITH STOCK GAPPS

Is Z00L same as Z00LD?

I'm confused. Some thread that I found says "..this is for Z00L/Z00LD", and that confused me. I looked up Z00LD on google, and it returned "ZE550KL". And everytime I search ZE550KL in XDA, Z00LD will always come up. hlp plox

If MODEL NUMBER ASUS_Z00LD is the same as ASUS_Z00L what does the D signify?
I am looking for the best info that will allow my to flash a new ROM on my phone but I am getting a bit confused by all the various Model/Build numbers -
My phone is a Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE550KL)
ASUS_Z00LD Build number MMB29P.WW_user_21.40.1220.2087_20170331 060020715_201602190037
from various threads on XDA I have read that I can use the unlock tool for the ZE600KL, and that I should flash the latest TWRP for the Z00L or Z00LD - does that sound right? and/or is there a thread where the info I want is collected in one place?
My aim is to flash a few roms and then eventually build a ROM to flash myself. If that all works out I have a ZE551ML_Z00AD with a broken screen that I willl have a go at.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess that D means DUAL, for dual SIM models.

yes i wonder because we manage to root and install twrp on asus ID version requesting the developers to please make some for this device asus zenfone 3 max X008DA MT6737M

if you want to root this device please follow this video note i'm not responsible if you brick your android device and note that im not the original owner of this rooting method just want to share with you guys if you still want to root and install twrp on your device. Note this is only for asus ID version running Nougat 7.0 check on about phone for more details

I have been trying to port for zu680kl but stuck on boot.. I did find nougat 7.0 port of miui for another zenfone 3 model. Maybe someone could look at it and figure it out. Will post later.

Sorry I was mistaken. The MIUI port for zenfone 3 max is off its early 5.1.1 base (so not nougat). However you can look it up here. From what I have seen, it is a working rom. Too bad we don't have a single developer interested in the zenfone 3 ultra. Am not a developer by any stretch of the imagination, but am continuing to try to port for the ultra.

UPDATE
zu680kl managed to get it to go to boot animation MI logo...progress...need to change a few things (just changed boot, modified framework, firmware and wifi....some other changes may get this to boot fully-hopefully!)
did this off mi max pro 8.4.26 nougat-based miui (same processor, resolution, both xhdpi and both same android api level)

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Got Hard Bricked After flashing

Hello
After Installing a custom rom my Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 ZB631KL got hard bricked..Its not charging,turning on or doing anything .. The general solution is boot repair .. But I cant seem to find any Raw flash file for this phone to repair the boot .. Can you guys please help me with that somehow? Where can i find the flash file?
Note:All hardwares are ok
