Hey, and happy new year !
This Zenfone is my first Zenfone I have to flash.
I rooted it with modded kernel (not flash, just fastboot boot) and I wanted to install Xposed.
But now the phone is bootlooping... "Asus In search of incredible"
What can I do ? Will a rom-reflash will resolve the problem ? Will a flash destroy user datas ?
By advance thank you

just flash stock boot.img, link is posted in thread having root method.
Thanks for your answer
I did reflash the rom in recovery mod, but the phone is still blocked on Asus splashscreen...
I can't enter into fastboot mode, it reboots the phone

I followed this guide for my G928F today and it is working flawlessly!
One thing that I did differently though is that after I flashed the new recovery with Odin I followed some specific steps to make it boot into the PhilZ Recovery mode. I did as the user swift2fly suggested and it worked great:
swift2fly said:
nice write up. you might want to note that after the recovery is flashed. do not reboot the device system. i did it twice on accident and both times, because after the flash, it stays in download mode. the system re-installed the stock recovery. so what i did was hold: vol down, home and power to reboot back into download mode then from there i hit vol up to cancel. then as soon as the phone is about to reboot, i did the: vol up + home + power button combo to boot into the new recovery. *my phone didn't let me boot into recovery from download mode.

I have and flashed the WW version
Flashed
Booted
Touch not working, Whats the use then? at first i thought it was frozen but,
Screenshots, Well holding power+volume down flashes screen, saved image corrupted
Flash Zips, flashing zips are working..
Mount Storage is working.
So i found only two use of this recovery
2)Flash Zips.. auto, I mean flash using TWRP manager app
1) Recover Files from internal storage if system is not boot able (bricked)
Well Thanks!! (I couldn't have flashed xposed without it) hope you'll fix it soon
oh and please make it material
Didn't work for me :'( after the install of the recovery, it doesn't start at the recovery, it just starts the phone normally and if I try to enter the recovery, it just gets me to the default android recovery, where I can install nothing
Unlock your bootloader with asus official app
can this worked without unlocking bootloader?

I accidentally tried doing a factory reset, and flashing an incorrect rom. So I lost the stock rom, and have no other rom to use. I tried using TWRP to flash ASUS's stock firmware from asus's support website, under firmware. Using firmware file: "UL-Z00T-WW-1.16.40.763-user.zip"
but TWRP tells me "E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/TWRP/Stock.zip'
Error flashing '/sdcard/TWRP/Stock.zip"
I still have access to both adb, fastboot, and TWRP but I cant get an OS to install.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, haven't even had this phone a day yet, and already may have broken it.
I don't have an answer to your question , just got this phone yesterday and am in the process of figuring out how to root and install a custom recovery for this specific device.. I have found many methods to root but none for my specific model. I think you have the same model as I do and was hoping you could lead me to the place that will give me the files I need.. the box my phone came in has the model as ASUS_Z00TD (ZE551KL).. Sorry I wasn't of any help to you, hope you manage to figure out how to flash something that will get your device running again!

Do yo mean this stock recovery? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64441364&postcount=9
How do I flash it? just "fastboot flash recovery stock_recovery.img" ?
If so, I've tried that, and TWRP still boot when I try to enter recovery. Also, once I've flashed the stock recovery, do I just place the firmware on the root of the sdcard as 'update.zip' and try to install it from there?
Thanks for your help already, and sorry about the repetitive questions!

Connect to computer or use an usb otg and flash a Recovery ROM.
Hi,
with Mi Tool V2. Download tool, phone in the fastboot mode, then Mi Tool V2 detects the phone and offers you the right Rome for flashing. Then follow the instructions in the tool

Yes, usually, Xiaomi releases Fastboot Rom, Recovery Rom and OTA update.
Here you can find them: https://mifirm.net/model/davinci.ttt (the ones called "zip firmware").

Thank you my friend youre a life saver. Flashed the rom and my phone is back. It's the same rom I had and tried to flash before but through a different (wrong) method. I was afraid to flash it after reading someone saying they bricked their phone flashing it
Hi xda,
I'm new into the world of flashing so any help would be nice.
I used this tuto:
https://rootmydevice.com/tutorials/root-samsung-galaxy-a40/
and downloaded twrp image from this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a40/development/recovery-twrp-galaxy-a40-t3968586
After flash phone restarted as intented but it keeps booting, I tried also some methods how to enter recovery mode while bootlooping but they didn't work out. I also want to flash pixel experience rom.
Thanks for any help provided.
