Few issues with Nexus 6p / CM13 - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello XDA community. Finally got my device working with cm13, now I've for a few issues, there not really issues but things i would like to change but unsure how. Here they are
1. Trying to change my nav bar colour, not on cm settings, using an xposed module, it changes the home and recent button, the back button stays white.
2. In quick settings, a quick setting keeps helping itself back onto the quick settings, its called "root access" I'll delete it and it'll eventually come back.
3. Again on the quick settings, I'm wanting to know how to remove the "edit tiles" quick setting. I'd rather it not be there
All help/advice is appreciated, thanks.

1. PerfectColorBar worked for me just fine.
3. Since Google seemingly cancelled the System UI Tuner menu in 6.0.1, the Edit Tiles tile is the only way you can access the feature, so it can't be removed.

Thanks for the reply, couldn't find perfectcolorbar anywhere. Would you mind posting a link to it?

Oops, I totally forgot that PerfectColorBar is developed by a developer in our Chinese community and isn't published to the Xposed repo...
Here you go: http://d-h.st/OYgb
The interface is Chinese as well, but as long as you activate the module, it shouldn't need any additional settings to work. If you can accept that I think you'll be comfortable with its effect.

faq
q: Can you add X feature to the launcher?
a: No. There are many many launchers out there that already do everything you want done. No sense in wasting time on adding features that have already been implemented. I suggest NovaLauncher or CM9's Trebuchet launcher. Both work great.
q: Can you add Y feature to the ROM?
a: Maybe! Ask and I'll see what I can do!
q: Do I have to wipe between updating builds?
a: Yes and no. Make a nandroid backup. Flash the ROM. If it works like you want it to, great! If not, restore your previous backup, or wipe /data. Just please please do a nandroid backup!
q: Should I do a nandroid backup?
a: Yes you should.
q: How do I get to the toggles in the screenshots?
a: Try clicking the settings button. Also try long pressing it. You can change this behavior through ROM Control
q: Why don't I see Power Saver in the menu even though I've enabled it?
a: You have to enable Power Saver in ROM Control before you'll be able to see it in the power menu. This is done on purpose .

Can you post some FAQ's and all
HTC One Illusion Rom FAQs
How do I enable HALO?
Go into settings. Under Illusion System Settings, select interface. You will find Halo Options. Here you can turn on halo, and tweak the way Halo works.
Where is my Data toggle in the notification pane quick settings panel?
As of right now, the only way to toggle data is through the Data Usage menu in settings. A fix is being worked on for this. I believe the problem exists in quite a few ROMS for the One.
Why isn't my NFC working?
Don't worry, all you need to do is flash the file at the bottom of this post title NFC Fix. This fix was pointed out by @Pony Express.
How do I enable/Disable CRT animations?
CRT off animation can be toggled under Illusion System Settings>Display
How do I access Google Now?
On the HTC One, the HTC logo is NOT a button. However, in the Illusion ROM (and some other ones), the strip above the logo has been modded to work as a button. Long pressing that stip will give you instant access to Now
Are there any other Bugs I should be aware of?
Not sure if it is mac only, or whether this will occur on PC as well, but if you connect as MTP, mac does not recognize it. ADB and PTP work fine. It is only MTP where this issue occurs. At this point, I feel the issue is with Macs being unable to recognize the MTP protocol. I was able to work it on a PC.

If Anyone has Feature Requests, post them HERE. NOT in the Dev thread. The Dev thread is really only for dev issues.
I have 3 major bugs/issues I would love to see sorted out.
1. Halo bubble stays at the edge of screen - insanely irritating
2. The Camera is... uhhhm. not as good as the Sense Camera. Any way to port Zoe? or even just the lowlight image processing?
3. I actually think this is how Android lockscreen widget was designed, but by default DashClock only displays clock. I have to expand it to show other info. Is there any possibility for permanently expanded lockscreen widget?
Annnd, A feature Request: Would it be, in any way, possible to port Slims hardware button rebinding feature? I would love to have long press back as multitask, long press home for settings, and swipe up on home for Search...
Also, has anybody with At&t tried NFC fix? Does it work? I flashed it, but no way to test until I go back to school in september (all my NFC tags are in my lockers, and I use it for Science lab access)
illusion rom ''theme chooser''
i''ve just instaled the rom, it works great btw, but when i click on theme chooser it says : unfortunately theme chooser has stopped. so i cant choose the key lime pie theme :''( , does anyone now how to fix this?
Try wiping the data

A problem with RTL support.

There are a few problems that I would like to note here, hopefully if the developers are reviewing this thread. Regardless this rom is awesome
1. There is no a left quick swipe of the status bar for quick toggles, only the right part of the status bar works. This can be handy for left people and RTL users and can be integrated par with the on-the-spot perference.
2. Pie controls have a problem when using RTL as well as using AM/PM, the digits are displayed on top of each other.
3. The default navbar for RTL is: back button on the right and multitask on the left. On pie however it's the other way around, which works good for latin languages but not for RTL as it's easy to get confused.
I added 2 screenshots for a more clear insight about what I'm talking about.
Thanks in advance

[Q] don't disable lockscreen widgets on low memory devices

Is this patch applied to our Defy's CM? Link: review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/57572/ (please copy and paste. I'm not able to post links )
I'm currently using TJKV's SlimKat most recent build and Torch is the only widget that I'm used to have in lockscreen, it's very useful. However, lockscreen widget is disabled when I activate the "low memory option" in Aero Kernel. Could someone request it in the development thread? I'm not able to post in there yet.
Thanks!

@TJKV
Could you please take a look at the OP?
It has a request to keep lockscreen widgets enabled even when low memory option is activated. According to sevenrock's reply to my question, Quarx has already merged the patch to his tree. I have SK 3.85 flashed in my device, but when I activate the low memory option, the Torch widget in my lockscreen disappears, along with the Setting->Security->Widgets option.
Thanks!
Thanks for the (six) PM(s)!
Yes Quarx has merged it in automatically when he merged the cyanogenmod changes from upstream. ie the CM devs have implemented it. So here the slim devs have to add it, not me. I haven't forked settings app, that's why. You could ask them though. What is the issue, you know about the the double tap and hold the lockring for torch option? Under Security->Sider targets&shortcuts?
Sorry man... I had error messages for each time I tried to send you a PM, so I thought it was not working Nothing shows up in my message history as well.
Didn't know about this option, but I normally disable the slider since I prefer to start tapping my PIN code as soon as I turn the screen on. What I'm used to do is to keep a Torch widget accessible from sliding the lockscreen to the right (sliding to the left I have the camera widget). Thank you for the clarifications anyway! :good: SK builds are working like a charm!!

Change DPI without chrome going into tablet mode? Gmail text links not working/blue?

Just as the title says, I tried messing with the dpi, went from 400 to 480, all of them cause chrome to go into tablet mode with the tiny tabs/buttons at the top of the screen. I'm using the PureNexus rom.
Gmail app doesn't allow me to click some embedded links and some links are just plain text and not highlighted/underlined in blue making them clickable.
Is there any fix for these?
You might wanna also use App Settings at the same time to limit the DPI for these apps only. There is a version for Marshmallow floating around.

Yea I was looking at that. Any idea why setting 480 dpi in App settings doesn't make it go into tablet mode?
App settings does not change hearthstone to not be in tablet mode. And I think the plain text links are only in some of my yahoo inbox. Not sure.
Funny. I've been actually trying to get chrome into tablet mode, but it doesn't go unless I'm all the down to 360dpi. But then the notification drop-down gets ridiculously small. Have you made any other changes except DPI? Resolution, maybe? And did you change it from purenexus settings or directly at the build.prop?

No, I just changed it within the PureNexus settings. I lowered it, then raised it back to 480, but it stayed in tablet mode until I changed the DPI with AppSettings. Tablet mode in chrome is fine except it makes the top tabs/settings menu insanely small and it cuts off the top of webpages. Pulling down to try to see the top of the webpage refreshes it because that's the way Chrome works.
Is there a good app to change DPI on stock with root?
