You can easily install this KDZ using LG Flash Tool (2014). Simply import the KDZ package into the Flash tool, connect your G3 to the computer in download mode and perform “CSE Flash” with default settings. Make sure all the necessary drivers are installed.
Note: Since this is a fully stock Marshmallow firmware, you’ll lose root upon upgrade and you might encounter issues while rooting this build. To maintain root privileges you are recommended to use the TWRP-flashable images of 30B by Autoprime instead

"Normal Flash: Flash ROM without losing any data. Only use this when you need to fix system error. Beware of boot loop when flashing ROM that differ from current ROM on your phone or MOD ROM.
CSE Flash: Choose this option when you need a fresh format. All data will be gone. It's suitable for upgrading or downgrading ROM or simply use this when you need to back to Stock."
This is deadly.!! Just spotted this now ? will flash tomorrow night thanks man

Is this stock KDZ either for 16 AND 32 GByte version?
Do I lose warranty if I update via LG flash tool with KDZ file?
Yes, it's the same for both versions

Well, I did a normal flash of the .kdz on a stock Lollipop in LG flash tool and everything is OK for me for 2 days now....for the moment I don't want root so no problems for me with downgrade but I believe the solution was explained a few posts back..... .tot method, seems to work.
Anyway, in my case all is working accordingly, the UI seems bit more responsive, battery life I really don't know what to say...because I have abused of my device since the update ?...happy New year to all

Installed yesterday on my 32gb. It works perfectly. LG has done a great job.
Sorry to disturb but I have a question about normal flash option.
If I have a g3 on stock lollipop since the day i've bought it, why should a normal flash not work ? The guys in Poland with LG pc suite upgrade are doing exactly this, aren't they ?

LG suite works when there is an upgrade for your country / brand. To anticipate this, you use file KDZ and LG Flash Tool 2014.
Just Flashed KDZ 6.0 ha ha lovely stuff my man thanks

Thanks.
Actually my question was more about the "you must do CSE Flash" thing.
I don't understand why "normal flash" would not work properly when you try to flash it on a LG which runs stock lollipop.

Hi all,
I have D802 G2 that had stock rom and I've upgraded to the 4.4.2 KitKat with the following manual:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2665985
This is a vodafone official rom which is suppose to be rooted.
How can I downgrade back to the original 4.2.2 stock rom?
I tried the LG R&D Recovery tool and loaded the 4.2.2 kdz file and turned my phone into download mode but it doesn't work.
It keeps on saying that my phone has the latest updates by LG, I wanna downgrade !!!
Anyone can help ???

Anyone help?
I'm interested in it too. You can try to follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
but i'm not sure if it is ok to downgrade (I think it's safe). I tried it but unfortunately I can't finish because of an error that is occurred and I didn't find any solution yet. So by now I still have 4.4.2.
I have same proble. any help?
Reset to Factory doesn't work as a method to roll back? Or does upgrading to Kitkat also upgrade the factory restore image?

The factory restore image gets updated to kitkat. You have to use the guide Revert To Stock here on XDA and follow the instructions listed. Just follow them to a t and you'll be good to go. It's awfully hard to mess up. Even if you're not used to using methods like that it's easy peasy

you aren't using the correct tool. Find the thread Revert to Stock here on the LG G2 forums and follow those instructions. You will be using the LG Flash tool. Not the R & D tool. That's a whole different animal that is used for updating software. Not downgrading. All that tool does is search the LG servers for software updates and starts the install for you if you cannot receive an OTA for some weird reason. I downgraded my AT&T d800 using the flash tool method and it takes about 10 mins and then you're back on 4.2.2
The link the other member posted is the correct method of downgrading.

That's the wrong tool. That's the LG support tool. You need to use the LG flashtool that is listed in the tutorial the other member posted a link to. You don't have to do anything with languages if you follow the instructions. The tool you're talking about is used for software updates. That doesn't let you downgrade.

I have a Bell G2 on 4.4.2 that I want to downgrade and install a custom recovery. Those instructions say to use the LG Flash tool but when I download it, I notice that the source says ATT/Sprint/Verizon only. What do I do?

That I can't answer. I'm not sure if the At&t and bell images are compatible. I can almost guarantee they aren't. What you CAN do is just google search Bell LG G2 stock tot. I'm sure there would be either an xda link or a dev that had a repository of factory images for various models of the g2.
The easiest thing for you would be to search for your specific device model number (I.e. d800 which is the AT&T g2) tot. That should get you to the image you'd need for the flash tool.
Sent from my LG-D800 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have tried searching for the tot file but there doesn't seem to be one for the Canadian variants. I have the 4.2.2 KDZ file though, can I just use the regular back to stock methods and flash it over my 4.4.2?
Edit: From what I see, only ATT/Sprint/Verizon models use the .tot and .dll method.

If you look in that revert to stock thread there is a link for the kdz method in there. Follow that and you should be golden. I forgot your variant didn't use tot

If I remember correctly the kdz method doesn't use the flash tool. It uses another method entirely. So if you got an error while attempting to use flash tools with kdz that'd be why.

I was using the R&D took for that. I followed the instructions exactly but no luck.

Idk, world war three.
The member said his version uses kdz and not tot. If your model uses tot then use tot. I've found it vastly easier than kdz. Either way you go just make sure you follow the instructions exactly for whatever method you decide to use. Neither myself nor the devs whose method you decide to use is responsible if you somehow mess up your device. If you follow the directions to the letter you should be fine but if you're not comfortable doing this then please don't. XDA isn't tailored for noobs. It assumes you have at least general knowledge of android modifications. Not trying to come off harshly so please don't take it that way.

I don't think v10D in south africa will be any different than V10c we have from european versions.
You can dl both Roms and try if vd works on your phone. If you have problem you can flash your stock Rom. I have turkish phone and i want to try European Rom but turkish Rom did not release, İ'm waiting. If you can try what i tell, we all have knowledge what will happen flashing 850 Rom over not european but same 850 rom based phones.
Available now, just waiting root for V10D
I got the update on 28/6 on my EU H850 model and other than the almost 10-15% speed increase didnt notice anything diferent.
Apps are opening faster and multitask is faster.
Has anyhone any link for the fixes they made? or they just optimized the phone for speed increase?
"No brand EU V10d" available via OTA update:
- Usability improvements through Google patch
- Phone usability and functionality
- Voice call quality

If you select UPGRADE in LGUP, it will update without wiping any of your data. REFURBISH option will wipe all data.
I just updated my 10c to 10d by using upgrade option and everything went fine

And after upgrading with lgup, you have to install twrp again and root again?

So you are rooted? This is stock rom and at least on other devices twrp is then replaced by stock recovery. You might need to use refurbish option. I'm new to LG and I have pure stock at the moment, so I'm not familiar with this phone yet.

Yes.
Are you able to re-lock the bootloader when you update to 10d?
Hi everyone,
My LG G3 D855 is not entering into download mode. I also tried to boot into recovery, but fastboot mode starts. The phone is working just fine, but the problem is that it drops signals frequently and 3G/4G is not working as well. Don't know what's the problem. I have tried flashing laf.img, used LG PC Suit to update, but nothing is working. I need some help on that.
Thanks in advance.

Flashed 9 kdz files using fastboot mode. Download mode is restored, but the phone is stuck at startup lg logo. I'm trying lg flash tool 2014, but at 2% it gives an error and asks to reconnect. Did several times and yet no luck. I also tried PC Suit, but it's not recognizing the phone.

Made some progress. The flash tool is recognising the phone with another DLL file. However, now it's giving cust-partition error. Now, what's that?

Can't go into recovery mode - only factory firmware update mode is working. I think flashing cust.img would solve the problem but I don't know how to that since its booting into recovery and fastboot mode.
