Device WiFi stuck - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Nexus 6P running a custom ROM and kernel (Purenexus & Elemental X) and 6.0.1 is its current version. My problem is that most of the time I try to access a Web page via Chrome or any other browser it doesn't loads, the loading bar gets sort of stuck about 1/4 of the barbar, I hit refresh and nothing, my WiFi is pretty fast and this happens to me with every WiFi I use and even with my own data connection LTE. I found a way to get out of the being stuck by hitting the recent apps button and accessing again to the browser and it loads the page FAST, but I can't deny it's annoying that I have to that everytime single time that I get stuck. Like I said, my connection is pretty good but even though my Web pages don't load and remain blank.

Internet Explorer loads nothing.

I have a 8525 that has WM6 upgrade to it. Haven't really done anything else to it except load a few games. But it's always had an issue where you can open internet explorer and when it says its loading the home page (in my case google), it comes up with a blank screen. Any address typed in comes up blank like it can't locate the internet, even though everything is on.
My only fix is a soft reset which while not horrible, is slightly annoying. I'm just wondering if I'm missing something or some setting.
Thanks,
I get that occasionally and the only answer I have found was to soft reset.
Happens on EVERY ROM I've used (5, 6, 6.1)
Second that... when that happens all other "Internet" functionality apperas to go away as well... soft reset is the only fix.
Bumping back up.
I've been having this problem for a while, however even a soft reset isn't correcting it anymore. It seems like the connection is good because i'm still able to download email and weather info, however in IE i'm getting nothing (using medianet, wifi seems to work fine). I've tried reflashing with a few different ROM's, however nothing seems to be fixing it. Currently running CRCs r12.7 and radio 1.40.30.00.
Anyone have any ideas?
Exactly the same thing happens to me. 1st load after soft reset all is fine in PIE, close it and next time this behavior is guaranteed to happen.
Weather & exchange sync are still working fine, just Internet Explorer ends up displaying blank ("opening" then blank page, properties show text with size of 0kb)
Did anybody come up w/ how to fix it?
Disable the proxy; it's interfering with the page loading.

problem with www.lovefilm.com site

Hi,
I seem to suddenly have problems with http://www.lovefilm.com site.
It works fine on 3G but on wifi it almost finishes loading and then hangs my browser causing me to force close.
Can someone try http://www.lovefilm.com on Wifi and see if it's their site or my phone.
Thanks
I am on stock rom btw.
It's you
it seems to be the Shutter Island banner on the top which takes ages to load.
are you getting the same problem with that banner?
The banner only loads on Wifi, not 3G
Yeah I'm on wifi... the full page loads and I can navigate around, no force close needed.
Interesting...
I went to the site on 3G. It was loading smoothly and when it had maybe 10 percent left slowed to a halt. I got the popup asking if I wanted to close because it was unresponsive. I chose to wait.
The interesting this is that this is the first time my N 1 acted glitchy. I pressed the home buttoning and it took forever to go there. Then, once there, the nexus live wallpaper was stuttering, the running streams of color were skipping about. Weird, and a first. Though the page eventually loaded up when I returned to the browser.
Some bad mojo on that site!

thanks for the reply, thats exactly what happens to mine on wifi. Sure it's the top banner.
on 3G it's fine as the banner does not load, network must block it to load the page faster.
Glad its not my N1 anyway.

[Q] Opening Web pages extremely slow unless S5 is rebooted

Hi folks
I wonder if any of you is encountering the horrendous issue of slowness in opening websites with Chrome, Firefox and stock browser unless I reboot the phone.
It's really weird because the web address is found and opened immediately, but the page stays white and loading almost 90 % for about a minute before it finishes loading and showing the site entirely.
But as soon as I reboot the device all browsers load fast and open websites immediately.
I have no idea what app causes this or how long time passes before the slowness begin.
-Cache deletion doesn't help.
-Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help either.
I appreciate your feedback on this.

[Q] Google connectivity issues - D802

Helll everyone there is something weird going with my phone and all Google services.
I currently use dorimanx kernel and Cloudy stock
Ok my problem now. As I surf the Web Chrome beta starts not to connect to anything apart from Google displaying errors like err_name_not_resolved or something about the dns, and play store times out in just one second whilst uc browser or dolphin keeps going on and loading the same pages that give the errors to Chrome. Also cannot access Google drive while these errors appear. After rebooting nothing happens but when I press "forget" on wifi network and reconnect everything goes normal. What is going on with my g2?
Anyone can help?
Thanks for your time.

Fire HD8 2017 5.4.0.0 Slow Browsing

Hi guys, just received my HD8 2017 version 5.4.0.0, i installed Google Play Services and of course, Google Play Store.
The system in pretty smooth and everything is working fine except for browsing: for some reason, on some websites it takes ages to load and sometime it won't load completely.
The fun fact is that i've got this problem with Silk but also with Google Chrome or Firefox.
I suspect the problem is somehow related to hardware acceleration but i might be wrong.
Is someone else experiencing that same issue?
Update
Appartently, the issue is somehow related to my wireless connection, i tried with another connection and the problem was no longer there.
The strange thing is that every other device in my house, android and windows, work just fine with any website.
I ran a speedtest(.net) on both my home wifi and my work wifi, which are both well above 50mbps connections, and seem to be capped at about 3.5mbps dl. When I switch to a mobile hotspot that I create with my GS7 Edge, I shoot up to about 35mbps. Any ideas as to why there would be a difference? Thanks!!
Yup, having the same issue. Would greatly appreciate any ideas as to why.
I'm using one and connections take what feels like 10 seconds to open. When I open a URL it takes that long before the page starts to open, then much longer before the images load. When Amazon pages update, there's a long delay as well. Seems to affect more than just the browser. It reminds me of what a connection with very high latency would feel like. I've tried resetting to factory to no avail.
UPDATE: @boom1995 gave me an idea to try out another connection. I fired up tethering on my phone and connected to that. It seems to have solved the problem...immediate page lots now. I guess there is something odd with the home wifi...even though my laptop works fine with the home wifi. Weird!
