Ya, it should work. It should be a nano sim.

[Q] New sim card and previos phones?

Does the Turbo have a different size sim card than the S4, S5, G2, G3? Is it removable?
I have no contract and still have unlimited data and plan to buy at retail price. I have a G2 and was hoping the Turbo has the same size sim and I will be able to just put it in as I have always done. I don't need any screw up to my unlimited.
Thanx in advance.
G2 uses micro SIM, Turbo uses nano SIM. You can get a free replacement SIM by calling Verizon I believe. Just tell them your situation when you buy. It shouldn't be a problem.

Easiest thing to do is get a nano sim from Verizon. Once you have that you can always buy a sim card adaptor and make it work in whatever other phone you want. I have a nano sim plus adaptor that makes it a micro sim. So that I can use my G2 still when I want to.

Question re: Moto X Play XT1562 Dual-Sim [Native] edition from Expansys

Hello, i'm considering purchasing a dual-sim [native] Moto X Play XT1562 from Expansys to replace my current phone setup of BlackBerry Z10 [Personal] and Moto X Play Single Sim XT1563 [Work]
I realize the Dual SIM version of Moto X Play XT1562 is dual Nano-SIM, so I will be replacing my current MicroSIM [Personal] with a Nano Sim for this.
Does the Moto X Play XT1562 Dual Sim 2nd SIM slot have any limitations? Does it support at least 3G or is it 2G only?
Thank you.
bump!

[Question] Does the Nexus 6P work on verizon?

So, I'm thinking about getting the Nexus 6P, however, I have a contract with Verizon. Can anyone confirm that a Verizon Sim card would work on the Nexus 6P? If I were to take my Sim card out of my iPhone 5C and plop it into the Nexus, would it work?

It will most definitely work, that's exactly what I did with my old G3. Turn off the 5C, pop the SIM card out, pop it into the 6P, turn the 6P on. No need to call VZW or anything (which is a huge bonus ;p)

So I won't have to cut my SIM card or anything?
That's great!

As long as it's a Nano SIM, no cutting.

Correct, the 5C takes a nano SIM so no cutting will be needed.

Will the Moto G4 Plus work on Verizon???

I really want this phone but I use Verizon and I am not sure if the phone will work on the network. I have heard very conflicting information, Motorola says that it works on all networks and sells a Verizon SIM card, but people on online forums say it does not. Do any of you know if it will work. I do not want to buy the phone just to find out it will not work.
Verizon doesn't play nice with Moto G4 Plus, not a hardware issue but rather something with their ESN whitelist database that wasn't correctly updated with some of the G4 Plus phones. They would rather sell their own branded devices at overpriced rates.
The solution that Moto found is to replace the affected phones (new ESN).
PS: I had Verizon and jumped the ship a long time ago... never to look back.
I and my wife use our G4 Plus phones on Verizon.

I'll second, I've been using my G4 plus (64/3) on Verizon since September and I have yet to encounter any network problems (acknowledges Murphy's Law).
I didn't even have to go to a store to have it activated, just swapped the nanoSIM (it'll take a regular SIM too) from my ageing MAXX and gave it a reboot.

So, do I have to use an existing SIM card, or can I buy the card from Motorola and hook it up to the network?

I can only say for Verizon, but you should be able to use a SIM that is already activated.
I don't believe that the SIM you buy from Motorola comes activated (the SIM ID gets bound to your account so that Verizon can provide you service (and bill you)), but I can't say for sure. I will mention that you don't necessarily have to buy a SIM, as I have never gone to a Verizon store to switch phones and had them charge me or give me a hard time because I needed a new SIM, but I cant speak for every Verizon store or employee.

So, just to make sure, I can use the SIM card from my Galaxy Nexus phone (I know dinosaur ages) in the Moto G4 Plus, right?

According to GSM arena your Galaxy Nexus has a mini-SIM, so assuming that the SIM in your dinosaur is activated you should be able to take it out, put it G4 plus (there is an included Mini-SIM to SIM adapter), give it a boot, and enjoy the 21st century. At least that's how it went I moved from my Droid Maxx to my G4 plus.
