Samsung A5 lock screen notif problem - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

hey guys, when i lock my screen and the music is playing i don't have my music player in lock screen or any other notification. the only thing that i have is the clock and small weather widget (original samsung).
really don't know how that music bar disappeared and i even can't see my notifications in notif.bar when the screen is locked. don't know if it does matter but few days ago i turned on the app lock in clean master and till then i don't have all this that i mentioned. i restarted my phone (that works sometimes when i have a small bug) and even deleted CM but still nothing. maybe CM doesn't matter to this but still....
thanks for helping.

I think you should check Settings > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications on lock screen. Turn it to Show all content. I use A5 Lollipop 5.0.2.
Sorry for my awful English if you can't understand.

Hi,
Open the messaging app.
Go to settings, notification settings, and untick preview message.
It's nothing to do with that, the lockscreen displays a big ugly grey bar stating you've got a new message or a missed call whenever you get one. It looks crap and I want to disable it too. I started my own thread a few weeks ago but got no response apart from replies like above which aren't the answer. Another one told me to turn notifications off, but although that stops the grey block on the lockscreen, it stops absolutely any notification of new messages, etc so isn't ideal really. There'll be a way to disable it with root access, but you could always install a different lockscreen to prevent it if you wanted.
Nothing under System Settings -> My device -> Lock screen?
- Multiple widgets
- Lock screen widgets
Also while on the lock screen, you can drag down and edit the widgets, try doing that while the notification thing is up?
Doesn't work unfortunately, it just overrides whatever widget you have on the lockscreen.
Does anyone know, short of using a different lockscreen?

[Q] Lockscreen notifications since Lollipop

Hi , in the past (4.4) I had NiLS installed and could see the different apps notifications on the lockscreen while the phone was locked and screen off . Once a notification came in the screen was "waken-up" and I could see the notification. NiLS worked as a widget. Now, I understand there's no more widgets for the lockscreen , OK with that. The Lollipop replacement is the built-in notifications , however, when a notification comes in I can only hear the sound of it but the screen stays turned off. I couldn't find any decent notifications app that can now co-exist with the new mechanism. Any ideas ? how can I make the screen wake up for incoming notifications ? many thanks.

lock screen notifications!

Android lollipop has made notifications on lock screen.
But can i disable it for individual app. The Option to turn them off in settings also disables it it from the notification bar.
In my case, it is smart remote. It is on lock screen and pretty annoying.
I am using android 5.0 lollipop SM-N900 dr.ketan's rom

There is a way!
Remember... I´m on a Swedish phone and I don´t know whats the different tabs and apps are called in english.
Settings/Sounds and Notifications/Notifications(at the bottom of the page)... the same place where you set wich content is shown on the lockscreen. There´s a app-list where you can block apps from showing notifications...

Thank you but it also switches the notification off from the noti panel. I want to keep it there just want to turn it off from lock screen

No, you can't do that. I have wasted hours, couldn't find anything, because there isn't anything.
PS: There might be an app which does that, but not really into that.

Nougat lacking features?

It seems like the official Nougat builds are really horrible when it comes to notifications. I no longer have the option to turn on the display when receiving a notification, which is huge. But on top of that, I don't seem to get any notifications on the lock screen at all, or "heads up" notifications (the notifications that drop down from the top of the screen while it's on temporarily). Am I wrong? Have others gotten this stuff working? I am on AL10.
Well I got lock screen stuff going, it was just defaulting to disabled. But there seems to be no option to wake the display for notifications.

Hi,
I have NXT-AL10. Just got the phone 2 days back and I installed Android Nougat 7.0 directly from Huawei using Huawei ID.
I found a setting that may be the one or at least close to it.I also checked if the notification is displaying on the lock screen and it does. I have attached the screenshots.
When I unlock the phone and check the notifications they are there until I swipe them out. They are displayed beautifully. Unfortunately taking screenshot of that was bit difficult as the knuckle thing didn't work so well. I managed to get these. Hope this is what you are looking for.
Cheers!

I had an issue similar to this on 6.0, it was an issue with themes. Do you have anything under the screen lock style menu, under screen lock and passwords? I have a feeling thats my issue.

Hi,
I checked under screen lock and passwords
options listed are
password, secure lock settings , smart unlock - under the subheading of "passwords"
under "lock screen"
screen lock style, magazine unlock and lock screen signature
under screen lock style
it just displays magazine unlock and when you click that it displays the same wallpaper and asks to apply.
under "magazine unlock settings"
subscriptons, auto-update over WLAN and auto-delete covers
There is a separate application called "Themes" and it shows all the themes. They all look alike but there is no download or edit options available. Even if we want to change or edit those themes, it seems like root is required. Are you rooted?
I have enclosed more screenshots to explain better. Hope you find what you are looking for, if I missed something please let me know if you want screenshot of any other menu or screen.
Cheers!
