Samsung S4 GT-I9500 Black Screen after samsung logo - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
quite new to the whole root OS Story, a friend of mine rooted my phone about year ago, was running euphoria OS.
The weekend it simply rebooted and stayed on the euphoria loading page, i did a dalvik cache clear, as well as normal cache clear was the same.
Then i tried restoring to backup and same story, showed the samsung GT-I9500 logo and then blank.
Please help, i have tried loading a new factory rom on it, also factory reset again still nothing, please help!!!!

[Q] CM10.1 keeps getting stuck in bootloop

Hi Everyone,
I have installed the latest cm-10.1-20130709 build with 2.6.32 kernel,
Its been around 3rd - 4th time that my phone got stuck into bootloop over the last week,
And 2 of the times it happened is when my phone drained out the battery and later I charged the battery and the phone wont just start,
It gets stuck on the cyanogenmod bootscreen, all I can do is flash again,
Anyone knows any fix for this, or am I doing something wrong here ?
I always do a factory reset before and wipe cache/dalvik before and after flashing,.
I also tried just clearing the dalvik and cache and rebooting this way a screen shows up with text "Optimizing Apps" once that completes it says, "Starting Apps" but nothing happens, if i restart again it again gets stuck at cyanogenmod logo.

Yes, that happens. I fixed that bootloop problem by taking data backups regularly. When bootloop occurs I just wipe data and restore the data from the backup. Bootloops have happened a lot of times using CM with AeroKernel. And you could have posted this in the support thread, or opened this thread in the Q&A section.

FAILED to flash rom, stuck in bootloop I9500, please help.

Hey guys. I tried to find similar topic but I couldn't.
I'm facing a problem with my Galaxy S4 i9500. Around a mouth ago I flushed kitkat with odin. After that I rooted it. The phone was working properly until couple of days ago. It start freezing and restarting. 2 days ago couldn't start at all. Stuck on SAMSUNG logo. I tried to flash kitkat again , but it failed. I was able to flash CWM recovery 6.0.3.3-i9500 and clean the cache, delvik cache and tried to restore the manufacturer settings. After rebooting, I see Samsung logo. phone restart and stuck on the Samsung logo again.
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Thank you.
Doesn't sound like a software problem. I think you have some hardware failure. I don't think it's your power button though, otherwise you wouldn't be able to stay in download mode for more then a few sec.
That doesn't sound good. What hardware problem might be? The phone has never been dropped and always been in a case.

Did you remove all knox related apps when you rooted?
I recommend..flash stock rom.
After that..flash philz and deknox script..
Then reroot via philz itself..(philz options reroot)
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Free mobile app

Stuck on boot animation [Samsung S5]

Rooted my phone (Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop model number is SM-G900I) a few months ago and went well. Im new to this rooting world so I kinda of messed up. I tried installing a custom using the app Rom Toolbox and once I finished downloading and installing the font, everything stopped working (apps and background apps) so I rebooted. I noticed right off the bat that the samsung logo with the particle burst things went on forever so i assumed it was a bootloop or i got it bricked. Only solutions i tried were wiping the cache and taking out the battery. Sorry if I am an idiot, but any solutions/comments is much appreciated

Hello and thank you for using XDA.
To solve your problem you should flash the stock firmware for S5 using Odin on PC.
For more information and step by step guide go here.
http://itechify.com/2016/05/08/galaxy-s6-stuck-samsung-logo-heres-fix/
That guide is using the S6 as example take the same steps just download the S5 stock ROM instead of S6.
Good luck and thanks to Natalia Schneider for guiding.

Help Samsung Galaxy S5 Model SM-G900F won't load past the booting screen

Hello guys. This is my first post here, so pardon me if I weren't allowed to post this kind of threads here.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I went into recovery mode, installed zip from the sd card, without making backups to the device. I guessed that the zip isn't compatible with my device, after installing, I rebooted the device and it just can't load past the ''Samsung'' booting screen. I have tried doing a factory reset, clearing cache and dalvik cache using clockwork mod recovery, but it just can't load past the screen after doing the above, plus taking out the battery and putting it back. I have also accidentally pressed clear rom to flash new custom rom in the recovery mode. Can someone please help out? Samsung kies could not detect my device now. Right now, I could still on the phone but it could not load past the booting screen. I would be glad if somebody could help me.
Thank you.

Moto X Pure (Style) Bootlooping LOS 14.1

Hello
I have been searching for a while about this and I've decided to make my own thread to help me and others.
My Moto X Pure (Style) has been having trouble booting into Lineage OS 14.1. The Problem started when I flashed it to the phone, I got an TWRP Error 7, so I opened the ZIP file and deleted two lines of code to stop Error code 7 from returning, surprisingly enough, it worked.
I recompressed it back to ZIP then, did an Advanced Wipe. I wiped Dalvik/ART Cache, Data, System, Cache.
Then, I reflashed the ROM. When it finished, I wiped the cache then rebooted to the newly flashed OS.
It was just sitting there, unresponsive, and the phone was progressively starting to heat up to a abnormal temperature while vibrating slightly. So I had to turn it off to cool the phone down before I make another desperate attempt to re-flash the OS.
I retried so many times until I found XDA Dev, I found it interesting and I've thought you've guys might help me along with the great community.
Please XDA Community, I'm in desperate need of your help.

I have this problem also. Was able to get up and running with this:
Flash this TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...&postcount=917
Flash this LineageOS: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...postcount=1054
Device booted fine after flashing these older builds. Only problem now is my device does not see any future Lineage updates.
