I'm trying to Sideload update OTA with Wugfresh's toolkit. I downloaded the file from Google and its a .TGZ file...
(Ive never sideload updated before)
Do i Change the name of that to update.zip or
do i extract it to the .TAR then extract that?
Im trying to figure out what is actually the OTA

4.3 OTA Update Failed - Bad debuggerd file

Trying to do the 4.3 OTA update. It fails with the message indicating that /system/bin/debuggerd does not have the expected entries.
Looks like Stickmount probably corrupted the file.
Could someone please post an original /system/bin/debuggerd file from Nexus 10 for version 4.2.2 / JDQ39?
It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance.
I searched all over for this damn file and only ever found one for the N7 which didn't work. Extracted this one from the N10 4.2.2 factory image and successfully updated.

Hopefully this link works, otherwise PM me.

Thank you so much!!!
It worked perfectly!
I dropped the file in place with Root Explorer in ES File Manager.
Then used TWRP adb sideload to apply the OTA update file.
Then I used Goo Manager to reinstall TWRP recovery.
Then used TWRP adb sideload to apply the SuperSU 1.51 zip file to restore root.
All is good.....Thanks again

I just ran the normal OTA update, then used CF-Autoroot, which also worked fine for anyone wondering (It has been updated for 1.51).

I believe that downloaded ota update must be flashed through stock recovery. What i suggest
Flash back stock recovery
Download your ota
And let it finish install
Flash back your twrp.

Flashfire Can't Find Latest Update.zip

Got the latest update.zip for the October Security patch. Wasn't stored in the normal location /cache But the update.zip file isn't recognized by flashfire? Would like to install it instead of flashing the full system image files.

Phone rooted, can't modify system files

Installed TWRP by OldDroid on Nougat b370
After that, I flashed a SuperSU 2.82
So my phone is rooted now, but whenever I grant permissions to text editor or ES File manager and try to edit system files it says "Read-only system"
How can I edit system files on Nougat?

Hello.
I just found a solution to go to b380 without root.
Can be you can test since l21c432b370.
Downloaded the b380 full ota mf zip.
With huawei extrator retrieved the file. (Boot, system, cust, vendor, version).
Downloaded the toolkit beta and twrp edit de hassans.
So since b370 stock no root.
Install twrp of hassans.
Then went into bootloader mode, connected to the beta toolkit, gone to Unbrick and flash boot.img, system.img and cust.img.
Finished, do not reboot, unplug cable, went to recovery twrp.
Install image, vendor.img and install image version.img.
reboot.
Normally all works. Zero bug.
I just did it on the l31c432b380.I went to b382, then 384 and i got to b388.
For root, I use simo255 root.

install ota on twrp?

Anyone willing to help me install OTA update? I have twrp installed. I have unrooted. Can i just flash the update.zip downloaded from firmwarefinder app?
Yes you can, just be sure you have the correct TWRP or the flash could fail.
