hey. I also was lookin for it to my 928C. Couldnt find any flashable zip or tar.md5. So you can also flash them after pick them up from original firmware like I did. BTW im using 928F BL, modem csc etc. doesnt bother much.. It depends on your reason to need them.

Hey You can flash one of them or both, doesnt matter. Just if they matches, look good. In the attachment, you can see my old mix lol.

What was the fail at odin? I select BL and CP at the same time and flash them without any issue. Need to know your process otherwise It might be caused by not compatible F variant files.
I guess that´s it... my phone is a G928G and I am trying to flash a modem and bootloader from another variant...

Maybe.. But for sure that is not valid for C variant. I always used F variants bl, cp. In the attachment which I added in one of my last posts, you can see my BL, CP sometimes also Csc were N920I,G,T. Because I used Note5 roms too with their CP, Csc, BLoaders which comes with the rom(N5's BL and CP were not flashable via odin). Anyway sorry to hear that your device couldn't. Actually not a big deal Imo Have a good day/night..
will flashing a modem from another variant damage my phone or trip knox?

ditto!
My Sprint phone was rooted and then one day got stuck in a boot loop, but I hate the Sprint bloatware so I downloaded the T-Mobile stock rom and odined it. I left out the home_csc file because I didn't know where to put it and it seems to be working just great.

Is it possible if so how to do it
Don't think so. I heard that the bootloader is different in PD8. Can't hurt to try though, right?
let me know if you can I would like to downgrade to PD7 so I can flash SM-G935U since it is also U2
---------- Post added at 06:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:54 PM ----------
You can try flashing the ENG BOOT then downgrading it to PD8
Yes its possible. Go to the firmware thread and download the pd8 firmware and extract it. Open Odin and put each file in it's respected place (file that starts with ap in the ap slot, CSC in the CSC slot etc) and then flash. After reboot you should be good to go. Warning though, make sure you have everything backed up somewhere else though because it will wipe your entire internal data.

Even on PD8 since it is V3 boot loader it will not allow since the error message states you are trying to downgrade the boot loader from V3 to V2. As anyone has tired to go to PD7?

I don't believe we can flash it on anything with a v3 bootloader.
We're out of luck until the SM-G935U's bootloader is updated.
Apparently T-Mobile is the only one pushing out the new bootloader. ATT & Verizon can still flash SM-G935U firmware.

I don't understand what the big deal is? I was on pd8 and did Odin (NOT OTA) to pg1. I then did Odin from pg1 to pd8. Why is everyone trying to figure out of it works? What's different about the bootloader because I even flashed the pg1 bootloader and then went back to pd8.

You ODIN the CP module of the firmware that you want install but I am not sure of doing so with a 935t modem on 935f firmware. I think it will work, but I have 935T firmware, so have not tried to do so.. Do some reading of the 935F TMo thread before you attempt anything if you haven't already.

This may sound stupid to some, forgive my ignorance, but if I flash the BL and Modem over my current DOK2, can I then just download and install a custom rom that is based on EPK2 and flash it like normal? Or do I need to actually flash the OFW?

You will have to flash a newer ROM. Whatever DOK2 ROM you are using now will prob not play nice with the updated (not upgraded) BL and baseband. Personally, I haven't found a MM ROM that I liked for this device.

Yeah that is what I had planned on doing. I was just wondering if flashing just the modem and BL would allow me to then flash a custom MM rom without having to first flash the full firmware. Was just looking for a short cut. But I have not decided if I want to upgrade or not. I am currently using Maximum Overdrive v7.1.1, just seems a bit sluggish these days.
I'm using my A5(6) F/DS variant with CSC SER(RUSSIA) . Now , I want to flash other ROM with FD variant . Can I do it?
