Respected Devs & friends,
Can the stock firmware (found here http://goo.gl/3LAoVp ) be flashed in Lava Pixel v1 without unlocking the bootloader?? Lava Pixel v1 has two pre-installed apks (Flipkart & Myntra) which can not be uninstalled even after normal system uninstaller (root) apps without unlocking the bootloader.
I don't know how to unlock Lava Pixel v1's locked bootloader. Will unlocking need some special code or password or just by a <fastboot oem unlock> command ??
One last thing, it is absolutely esaential to flash IMEI number flashing with SN flash tool or the like in Lava Pixel v1 after the said stock firmware flashing???
oem unlock
fastboot OEM unlock
Works for me
Then
If u want twrp recovery?
And root?
Wait some time
I have bad network in my village 2g network only
Soon will post recovery.IMG (flash using sp flash tool, cannot flash via fastboot)
Beta SuperSU v2.52 works for me for successful root
Bye now
:cyclops:
Unlock bootloader Unofficially !!!!
No need to wait for mi unlock tool verification
To unlock boot loader
Use at your own RISK
Most important backup ur data
Download the currently installed miui version Fast boot ROM (may be lollipop or marshmallow )
Then extract to computer after that delete emmc_appsboot.mbn and recovery.img
After that download custom recovery I used zcx twrp recovery. download emmc_appsboot.mbn.zip then extract it attached in last then paste it into extracted fast boot ROM
Put your our device into fast boot mode and then into edl
Using mi flash flash this edited fast boot ROM by clicking flash all button
After seeing your operation completed successfully then boot into fast boot directly don't reboot device
Now open fast boot cmd and run command
fastboot oem unlock-go
Voila your device unlocked successfully then reboot device by typing fastboot reboot
Just download correct version fastboot ROM installed version of MIUI it may be MIUI 7 lollipop or MIUI 8 lollipop or MIUI 8 marshmallow

Are you flashing the same stock ROM as before or newer?
Is your fastboot working fine?
Is the file complete (no incomplete downloads)?
Yes sir same stock ROM 67.5 which installed. File seems download and extract clearly. Fastboot ok-i can go to twrp recovery and flash custom ROM.

Hello I wanted to install Oreo on my PRA-LX1 following this guide
https://www.haky86.com/2018/05/12/install-emui-8-0-huawei-p8-lite-2017/
I was on official EMUI Nougat firware, I downloaded LX1C432B322 of 2018.04.13 what he said, installed nocheck recovery and then update_command. Reboot, title, nothing works except fastboot. I re-unlocked the phone with oem unlock and after reboot same.
I tried to flash twrp-3.2.1-v3.5-prague.img again to fix but length error with "fastboot flash recovery"
I tried to flash his OreoTWRP.img with "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk" and it pass, reboot but I can't boot to recovery.
Pressing VolUp + Power does nothing, "phone can't be trusted" screen with the eRecovery option (VolUp for 3 seconds) but eRecovery is dead (error mode)
Maybe this OreoTWRP worked but how to bot to recovery now ?
please help I can't buy another phone it's urgent...

I'm not responsible of bricks caused by people since most of them not follow the steps I wrote.
@haky 86 (I'm assuming you were the one who wrote that guide) is the guide for updating from nougat to oreo or updating an Oreo firmware to the latest?

Download the nougat rom you were on before. Extract update.app to get the recovery. Flash it using fastboot. Then try dload method.
Or flash nougat twrp and try flashing the nougat rom via HuRUpdater
