I've followed instructions in from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928 and flashed the supersu from the recovery without reading not to flash. Now I'm stuck at the google splash screen. Is there anyone willing to lend a hand on how to recover from this?

Given the fact that you are a senior member. I am assuming you tried to start over again? If not get back to bootloader moder using the power and volume keys and start over.

Thanks for your reply. Of course, I've tried to start over with step 9 and end up with an android lying on its back with a red yield sign. I had tried to restore a back up with no luck. Could you help me out? I am very lost at this point.

Not sure, what did you try to flash. But download a copy of Factory image and start over.
Turn off your device, download mini adb. reboot into fastboot and select flashall from the factory image

First of all appologies if I started another thread on this topic. I am very green with Android and am now unable to get past my latest screwup! I had CMod 10 on my device but it kept freezing in the browser. I also had Skrillax recovery on it. I wanted to revert back to OTA stock Rom so got the following ROM from this Forum Post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1816560
Acer_A500_0.000.00_041.121.01_COM_GEN1: ftp://94.23.233.147/Tablets/A500/Ace...5_78277167.zip
I decrypted it, extracted the update.zip and applied it to my tablet as instructed in the post. Upon completion it restarts and goes into this loop at the Silver android screen! I tried to go into Recovery and get the dead Android with the red Exclamation mark. I can reapply the same update.zip file and it seems to go through things again but every time I get the same end result looping silver android loop. HELP! please! If I try to use another stock update file it only get me to the dead android guy with red exclamation mark. I have tried to put this into APX mode but it does not want to go there at all.
Is there anybody out there that can take a little pity on a fool like me to get this thing back up again?
I don't care about the data at this point and which version I get back to. I also do not have my CPUID and can't seem to get to it. Thanks in advance to anyone who could point me in the right direction or better yet walk me through this.
Dead android guy is what I get after root the tab and try to get to stock recovery WITHOUT unlocking the bootloader
DId you try the manual way to go APX, push the reset button with a paper clip and hold power button? If you can get to APX you can use A500 manager tool from this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25891744&postcount=44
you can try unlocking the bootloader which then result in bootable recovery

Ok so now can get in APX mode but it says debugging is not on, I can't get in to turn it on? Is there a way to get the bootloader back to the Skrillax version via update.zip file? I will keep reading these posts but still can't seem to get APX mode right.

First of all a million thanks to Happy who pointed me in the right direction! I appreciate the help buddy! I was finally able to get my device working by following the first post by manually installing Thors v1.7.3 bootloader. Once I got the bootloader back I just reinstalled one of the custom ROMS and voila! back in operation. Most appreciative...
The link again is the following and you do not have to have debug mode on to do the manual flash.

Congratulations! you successfully resurrected a dead droid!
Was having issues with my Nexus 7(2013) this morning, rebooted the device and now it gets stuck at the "Google" loading screen.
I can get into the Fastboot loader. I was able to unlock the bootloader.. I have LOCK STATE - unlocked and the unlocked lock showing up on the "Google" boot screen.
I am UNABLE to get into Recovery mode.. either by selecting "Recovery mode" in Fastboot or holding the power and vol up buttons. It just sits on the "Google" boot screen.
I have downloaded and installed the SkipSoft Android Toolkit(mskip).. very nice toolkit BTW. But no matter what I do I'm unable to start the tablet up normally or get into a Recovery mode of any kind.
I have tried to flash TWRP. I have tried to flash the stock ROM. Nothing, still sits at the Google boot screen. Since flashing the stock ROM its been 30 min and still just says "Google".
I'm open to any ideas or anything that you can think of.
Still have TWRP and fastboot access? If so, use the command line fastboot the img using
"fastboot boot <filename>.img"
Reply back; do you get to recovery?

No.. I do not get into recovery of any kind. Stock or TWRP after loading it.. just sits at the Google screen.
Quick question; what were your partition setups like? F2fs? Ext4?

Answers all of my questions. I know myself I won't be able to help. All I can say is to try relocking and then unlocking again.

What that should do is wipe internal, could have some corruption there. Try doing the command line fastboot of the recovery.img again. Those are the only few things I can think of short from exercising your warranty.

Dont think I can use the warranty.. bought it used(1 hour old) from a friend for $100.. he got it and then decided he didnt like the aspect ratio. His loss, my gain. Until now.. lol
I'll keep hacking at it.. thanks again.
Anytime! You're welcome!
So the original issue I was having was that the screen was not responding to touches. Was unable to slide the unlock button on the screen.
I was able to "Boot to Custom/Stock Recovery without Permanently Flashing it" via SkipSoft Toolkit.. and had TWRP load up. But like before it was not responding to touches.
Starting to think this thing is totally borked.. =/
I'm able to get into TWRP now.. but sits on boot animation screen now. one step forward. Going to try and reload the stock ROM again and see if that helps.
That seemed to work.. at the Welcome screen.
So if anyone else runs into something like this..
Issues:
Flakey touch screen
Stuck on Google bootup screen
Eventually stuck boot loop animation
Get SkipSoft Android Toolkit, donate a couple bucks and keep flashing anything and everything you can. Sorry I can't give you a specific order that works. I would say try the 'ALLINONE'(#8) option first and then download and flash the stock ROM. I did several things in the toolkit a few times over and over. Hopefully I'm good now, if not I will update.
Have you tried reflashing recovery via fastboot?
Exact thing happend to my n4.
Sent from my N⁴ using Android Lollipop by @Sykopompus running Unleased kernel by @DeFcOni
So I was following the thread to get the back capacitive function back and when I flashed with flashify, it suggested that because the filename had "boot" as part of name, it should be flashing boot recovery. I didn't quite understand what this mean so I pressed yes. After a reboot. I hear the initial vibrate, then I see "Zuk Powered by Android" for less than a second", then it goes dark. And reboots. None of the buttons allow me to turn off the device. I also can't get any glimpse of adb or fastboot when running device list. Please help.
Please help.
I've gave up. I tried all the combos to get to recovery. It seems the keys don't register because reboot takes place before the keys do anything. I opened the back, and unplugged battery. Plugged it back in. Then plugged the device to my computer via the cable. Boot loops again automatically, I didn't even touch the power button. Positive this phone is done for.
I've had this phone for a total of 3 days. Thanks Cyanogenmod for removing a useful feature that led to this chain of events.
As an update.
I discovered download mode exists for this from here: http://community.cyngn.com/t/fixed-...nt-not-working-anymore-after-ota-update/221/6
If anyone gets stuck on this. My only approach to turning it off was opening the back cover. The whole back side is taped with double sided tape pretty shut. I ended up digging a hole beside the bezel to pry it open.
Unplugging battery requires removing one of the screws near the top left of the battery.
No being funny but way too many pple are buying phones and rooting without doing the reading first. I studied for months first

Upgraded to 7.1, next day phone restarted, boot loop at google logo. Able to get into fastboot power + down, none of the options are working, just keeps rebooting. Tried recover mode but just loops.
Tried fast boot, but unable to flash due to locked bootloader. I saw another thread with twp but not sure if im using this.
If it's bricked, time to get a new phone, or does google rma?
thanks for any help
The first thing you should do is unlock the bootloader, here is the guide its pretty simple.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
Once ghe bootloader is unlocked i would suggest using the same guide to flash the factory image. That should fix ghe problem.

I can't get into dev mode to allow it to be unlocked.
Can you get in to the stock recovery Like once you ara at the bootloader screen use your volume down button to select recovery and then press power button to select ghe recovery option, once you are in hhe recobery try doing a factory reset/wipe user data and reboot, see if that helps

I ended up doing an rma as nothing i tried worked. Just kept getting the warning screen and Google screen.

Someone help i cant get into recovery please help
@pbedard Its all about timing. What I do is I take off the back cover. Then I hold the volume down button and then hold the power button. The very first LG logo that pops up only pops up for a second so that part is a pain... But as soon as you see that first LG logo, let go of the power button and press is back down as fast as you can. If it tries to boot, immediately pull the battery and try again...

Yea.. Before the Corrupted screen is a small instance of a LG logo. You have to enter TWRP through there. When it asks to factory reset, just hit yes twice.. TWRP overwrites that recovery. Its a pain in the arse to get into it.

How can I the computer dont recognize it
Hold the volume down key and have a usb cable connected to your pc and then while still holding the volume down key plug the phone in.
I had to flash twrp once in fastboot. just start fastboot in the adb folder with the twrp.img and just type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and wait. rename twrp accordingly.
