Hey guys i have a straight talk variant of the galaxy s5 and in twrp recovery when attempting to flash a previous rom it said error this model is KLTE or something like that, i cant remember word for word but whats weird is that according to google the KLTE cyanogenmod is for the international version of the galaxy s5, so why is twrp saying my model is KLTE for? well anyways i then proceeded to go the the cyanogenmod download page and snagged the latest build for the "Galaxy s5 (KLTE)" and it installed on my phone without a hitch and in settings it now says my model changed from SM- S902L to SM-G900F. so will my network still work as it should? im in a town with very poor coverage so i cant test it at the moment. but since the model changed for some reason does that mean my sim should still work regardless?

Hello,
iam currently living in Japan and i bought a phone by docomo.
Model Number SC05G
Android Version 5.0.2
Baseband Version SC05GOMU1AOE1
I checked the website and found some guides how to root. However it seems that everything is not applicable for my build.
Ping Pong version only works with SC04GOMU1AOE1 and on the page (autoroot chainfaire) i did not find my build.
Do you have any advice for me?
What happens if i just put in some random Samsung Galaxy S6 model (like Sm-G920T) in Odin and put my phone on download mode
Thanks and sorry for my stupid questions

Wrong forum. You have an S6, not an S6 Edge Plus.
Better trying in the S6 forum, someone there might be familiar with the Japanese variant. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6
Do you happen to have the PIT file for this SC05G?
Hello so i bought an note 4 from a stranger
the phone was advertised as note 4 n910f, and everything works here in spain. the calls work, as well as internet however when i put in samsung keys it shows as this.,
View attachment 3611448
so my question is that did the stranger try and trick me because n910f is more expensive.
also if this is a n910 att, what root file do i need to put in this for me to root it?? is this phone a n910f fully or is it a n910a just pretending to be a n910f.
another thing is that.. when i open my browser the att homepage boots up straight? so what is this?
Okay i checked in recovery it show KTU84P.N910AUCU1BNK3 .
okay so i got tricked... however now i install n910a rom, and n910a recovery?
also how can i change the model number on the phone... so it shows as a n910f after i install a custom rom

Sorry for you, but there is no recovery or rom for n910a model, its bootloader is locked you can only update it via ota/ kies
My question was not answers sufficiently enough last time I asked so I'll ask again. Are the international Galaxy S4 (jfltexx) and i9505 ROMs compatible with the US Cellular Galaxy S4 (jflteusc)(QUALCOMM VARIANT)? If so how would I go about rooting and installing CM12 or CM13 for example? I don't think my bootloader is locked as the Carrier for the phone is US Cellular, I cannot access the testing mode menu because none of the dialer codes work at all, I also tried Nova Launcher for the shortcut to the Testing Menu but in a Toast Notification is says "Permission Denied". I also don't know if my device is the i9500, i9505, or the i9506. the model of the phone is SCH-R970 (US Cellular), I am currently running Stock Android 5.0.1
The SCH-R970 is a I9505.
Your device is a CMDA device. Most I9505 roms should support it, unless specified otherwise.
Hi guys. I bought a Galaxy s5 g900f (aka klte) with stock touchwiz android 4.4.2. In my country, Chile, it refused to connect to any wifi. I did some research, rooted it, installed Rom Toolbox, and I wrote a script that solved the issue, which set the wifi_country_code to us.
I was having some issues with LTE and 3g data connection, so i flashed cyanogenmod 12.1, because in my experience it has solved problems on other devices before, automagically (on passion, i9300, iyokan). Then, wifi stopped working. I looked everywere about how to solve the wifi_country_code issue on CM12 or lollipop, to no avail.
I was thinking about flashing CM11, but cant find CM11 for klte. Now, i'm thinking about going back to stock 4.4.2 . Can you tell me somethig to try before going back to stock?
device: Samsung SM-g900f (klte)
Current ROM: Cyanogenmod 12.1
I want to connect to the damn wifi, so if someone knows how to solve the damn wifi_country_code issue on lollipop on S5 stock, it would be helpful.
Getting angry and shouting damn a lot won't help
Have you asked in the CM12 thread?
EDIT - Now you're on Stock LP 5.0?
Which is it?

I am going to install lineage 14.1 and have rooted my phone with no real problems. The issue I am having is finding the proper variant of twrp for this phone. "TWRP for Samsung Galaxy S5 Qualcomm " is the closest I can find, but it lists these models as for that (SM-G900F, SM-G900W8, SM-G900T, SM-G900M, SM-G900P, SM-G900V, SM-G900I) I am worried that since mine is the sm-g870w there may be issues if I use it. I have looked on so many web pages my eyes just might start to bleed.....
Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.
