Samsung ROMS supports RRO Layers.. Download the Layers Manager App from Playstore .. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lovejoy777.rroandlayersmanager

layer manager ...no work in my note 4 stock rom
i create folder vendor/overlay/ .....apk permission 0664 , reboot device , and ....nothing

my device is note 4 n910c
i install layer manager in play store - ok
download the layer.apk disponible in site - ok
in apps Layer , i click in change APk layer in my sdcard - ok
i click in install - ok
verify ....create a folder ...vendor/ovelar/ ( my apk is here ) .....i reboot device and .....nothing change layer

Alright.. is your phone rooted? Given it access right? Is the overlay theme specific for the Note 4? Because, there are three categories of layer themes,
1) Stock Android Themes
2)TouchWiz themes - S5,S4,Note3
3)Touchwiz Themes - s6,note4
SOmetimes the 2nd category might work for Note4 i.e s5,s4 themes, sometimes they don't... the first category doesnt work for touchwiz at all... get in touch with the person who made the theme and confirm that the theme supports note 4..!

Method 2->Copy APK to /vendor/overlay folder-> change permission to 755/rwx-rw-rw ->
i install systemui overlay,apk clear .....but permission stay : rwxrw-rw- only

I'm saying, does the theme you are trying to install for your phone?
Other than that.. I don't know why it's not working for you.. You should check on the bitsyko development community in Google plus...

You should give more information on included download file.
Example:What device is this for? How large is the file? What type of file is it? Odin? Zip for flashing through custom recovery? Stock OTA download?

Just look at your old screen. There is NOTHING new to the touchwiz besides Note 5 S-pen features.

As long as the MM base at least offers new features like app restrictions I'm fine. A built in theme engine would nice, though. [emoji51]

With this version of supersu I was abble to root it:

- reinstall twrp
- install the super su zip by twrp (caution, some version of twrp by default try to automatically install embedeed supersu. Disable it)
- enjoy

Officialy - it started for Ukraine, Caucasus countries and Kazakhstan - SM-N915F version. FY is only similar
I will wait for official release for our version

But I need a custom rom like j5 or j7 for G531H but I couldn't find it because no one cares about it

Currently there are no fully functioning roms for the G531H due to difficulties with the drivers, ril and wifi etc.
It is not a very popular device amongst developers so I do not forsee any kind of ROMS in the near future.
You can achieve most of what you want using root and Wanam Xposed though, check out the forums for more information on the Xposed Framework and the Wanam customisation.

I'm curious as to why you want a port of the J5 or J7 roms, they are still touchwiz with no real benefits for our device.
A fully working build of Cyanogen would be far superior, no?

I don't think there will be any stable roms on the G531H, there are too many complications with it, but there is a lot we can do with xposed and flashable zip files
