help please eroor firmware

I have update my Trinity with the TIM ROM posted in ftp site , but i dont undertsand that this firmware is by Telecom Italia brended .
How can I go back ?
The phone if i should be to install a oldest (no branded) firmware seay to me that the operation is fail.
Is like a locked phone ... if I erase the all date in the phone ? can any explane to me how can to do?

se hai passato la rom di test tim devi necessariamente attendere una nuova rom tim oppure mandarlo in assistenza... hai reso il tuo nobrand un brand tim lock

need to change language to portuguese!

I have a generic/unbranded htc Desire HDA9191 which has only middle east and english in it, i need to change the language to portuguese! so need a simple guide as to how can i change the language?
do i need to root my device in order to flash a custom rom which has portuguese?
how can i creeate a gold card for this phone?

Tentar ver se no seu cel tem south africa na parte de linguagem! Eu tenh um rom customizada e apareceu esta liguagem!

flash the 2.2 ruu wee version, I think is has also portuguese

Roaming and virtual operators

Hi! I use a virtual operator in Spain. Usually, all rom's detect it like I was in roaming, with an "R". But the latest oficial 2.2 in Spain (JPB) detects it correctly and doesn't mark it as roaming.
In what files is the information of operators, to decide if it is roaming or not? I wan't to modify the latest JPY, to make it not detect my operator as roaming.
I've tried with the CSC files without luck, and flashing the modem file with kies. Some idea more?

Lo mismo. Pepephone en JPY marcado en roaming. Sería interesante averiguar como modificarlo, ya que tener el roaming encendido en zonas fronterizas con las llamadas internacionales activadas es un auténtico coñazo.

NEED Official ROM for Vodafone Romania

As the topic name says, I need an official ROM for Vodafone Romania so I can use kies updates in the future. I've been searching for it around here, but...nothing. So, if anyone can help me I would be deeply grateful.

Daca mai e si altcineva care mai are si alte versiuni de ROM oficial pt VF RO ar fi binevenite

don't forget, if you have xxjvk, you have to update first to an older version, with repartition and 3 files, then update to this one.

poti pune orice rom 2.2 sau 2.1 inainte de asta. doar sa fie cu bootloader de 2.1 sau 2.2. eu as incerca sa pun doar modemul asta, are cineva idee ce versiune e? cum merge? referitor la baterie... o fi mai ok decat zsjpg?
you must first use any 2.1/2.2 firmware so you will have a working bootloader for the vodafone version.

I dont think this is the official 2.2.1 firmware for the romanian division of Vodafone network
I think this is the official 2.2.1 version for the Orange RO network , already available through Kies for the users with ORO product code for 2 weeks or so ; it doesnt contain CNX product code - the product code for Vodafone RO network so its not a firmware for Vodafone RO
Vodafone RO didnt release yet the official update to 2.2.1 through Kies for its SGS consumers

So, if this is not the official Vodafone ROM for Romania, does anyone have an official ROM? It doesn't matter to me if it's 2.1 or 2.2

lilian marius, did you chech the archive? do you know for sure it is oro code? the person who mentioned earlier about 2.2.1 didnt say it is for sure that version. please check before posting something thet might mislead other users. thanks.

first at all, I want to apologise for my english, from france. So I am not sure that I am on the good section, don't hesitate to move this thread.
So, yesterday I rooted and instaleld the cyanogen cutom rom. The new Rom is ok but since this moment, I lost the network and my phone is not able to connect to a mobile network, only "Emergency call only"
I really don't know what I missed and/or what I have to do about it.
So it's a Nexus S with a french provider Bouygues Telecom. If any one can help, I will be very happy

Try checking your IMEI number, type *#06# in the phone, if it starts with loads of zeros, your in trouble.
What ROM and what version did you flash?

So the IMEI is good, I can see it with no problem.
I used the cyanogen 7.0.3 as a custom rom.

I just verified in the phone informations :
cyanogen 7.0.3
build : GRI40
radio : I9023 XXKB1

Ok I had the same problem and I had to add my APN settings because it wasn't there anymore. I'm not 100% of the path since I'm currently running MIUI but I think it's Settings-Wireless Connection-Mobile Network Settings-Acces Point Names.

J'ai eu le même problème que toi. Bref, j'ai du ajouter les paramètres de mon APN car il n'était tout simplement plus là. Donc vérifie si ton APN est bien là et configurer, si non fait seulement l'ajouter et tu devrais retrouver ta connection. Si je me trompe pas c'est en dessous de Settings-Wiresless Connection-Mobile Network Settings-Access Point Name

But apns are only for data access (correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway give it a shot see if it work.
Edit: maybe try your sim in other phone to see if sim is the problem?
