Hi guys, does anyone have problems with taking pictures with samsung camera? When I take pictures sometimes phone immediatelly shut down and I cannot turn him on until I take battery out and then turn it on.
I am using official rom. 5.0 lollipop.
Does someone had similar situation? Any solution on this?
Tnx
Try to reflash your rom and clean cache and dalvik.
Its official 5.0 rom. Installed who knows when Phone is not rooted.
Try what the above person said.
Install custom recovery TWRP. Boot into it. Go to Advanced wipe section, wipe everything. (Be informed that this will completely wipe the phone, you will have nothing after this on your phone). Upgrade the boot loader to Lollipop if you already haven't. Then flash an official Lollipop ROM.
No, I have never had that issue, not once.

Hello,
I've got a problem with my gt-i9505.
I've managed to root the phone and install TWRP.
So i decided to install CM10.2 (21-08) and the right gapps for it.
Everything worked very good and I couldn't be happier.
All my apps were back and it was ready to use it!
I turned off the phone and went to sleep.
The next day i turned it on and it got stuck on the bootscreen (not the CM bootscreen, but the SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 bootscreen).
So I tried to do factory reset and install rom again, gapps again, afterwards again wipe dalvik and cache.
But i keep having the same problem. Right now after flashing the rom it doesn't even boot up the first time.
I also tried going back to 10.1, but same problem.
I don't know what to do, i just got my s4. Really hope i can fix it.
Luckily i can enter the recovery. But i didn't do a backup or anything.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get it working again?

Hi,
Look HERE
Put everything back to stock then, try again.
I found some 10.2 ROMS do not like rebooting, and just hang.
Remove the battery and try again normally worked.

Thanks for replying
I followed the instructions and succesfully installed the official stock rom for my device and region.
But it's still stuck at the samsung boot screen.
And now i can't boot into TWRP anymore either, is that correct?
After that I flashed with the .pit file. But still stuck on bootscreen.
Is there any other way to solve this problem?
idgaf about custom roms or CM10.2 anymore, i just want my phone to work.
Wether it's with custom or with stock firmware.
Really hope I didn't break my phone. :crying:
EDIT:
I wiped cache after flashing, but no data wipe/factory reset. That did the trick.
God i can't be happier my phone finally works again. Now i'm scared to flash a custom rom again. I think i need to install TWRP or CWM again too I'll just wait for now.
I have been a lurker around here for some time, but never posted. So Howdy!
I am having some troubles with my LG G2. I have loved the phone so far, and has custom TWRP recovery and rooted. Other than that the device was stock with some very minor mods (xPosed framework, etc..
I stupidly forgot that I had TWRP installed, and I chose to take the recent T Mobile OTA. The phone wouldnt boot past recovery despite a factory data reset. I flashed the stock rom (tried both D80110C and D80110G) to no avail. factory data reset again, re root, installed TWRP again, cleared cache and dalvik, and everything was fine EXCEPT the knock on feature doesnt work. Knock on works just fine, but I cannot knock to wake the device. The power button wakes the device just fine.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Also,
I was considering flashing a rom, like Gummy rom. I don't really have any hypothesis behind this, as I have already flashed the stock rom kdz twice now.

Hey, is your knock on issue resolved? also try CloudyG3 rom, its realy smooth.
So I had been running the unnofficial 5.0.2 CM lollipop on my phone for a while when I finally decided I would do a full wipe and flash the latest version of it (1/26). Prior to the full wipe, the phone had been running fine. But since 1/26, it started depleting battery rapidly and it had tons of input lag. So... I wiped again and went back to what I previously had... only, my problems did not go away. So then I decided I would wipe and go back to CM11. Now, it is a little better, but still is having odd lag / behavioral issues.
My question is this.... I did several full wipes. This doesnt seem to be resolving my issues. I am guessing that wipes dont really get rid of strange behavior. Is there another step? I tried the "repair" option in TWRP but that didnt help much. I am using the latest TWRP. Should I odin a factory ROM then re-root everything? If so, does knox become removable, or am I stuck with it?
Hello, Newbie Here!
So I recently flashed the Resurrection Remix ROM Build 6.8 and Kernel 6.2.
The Build is rather stable and In my honest opinion better than CM12.1 which I was on previously.
So the normal functions of the phone are normal and I feel this is a much stable build. I use a ASUS Zenfone 5(ASUS_T00F)
But I face random reboots where the phone restarts itself and gets stuck at the boot. Only when i try to force reboot from the bootloop screen does the phone restart normally and even that takes three or four attempts. First I thought it was just getting used to the new Kernel then when this started occurring frequently I became more aware that this might just be a potential risk.
Today afternoon, My Phone was literally stuck at bootloop for 2 hours.... Only when I tried to do three-four manual forced reboots by pressing my power key and with each instance entering the TWRP mode and doing a dalvik and cache wipe only then was I able to boot up my phone normally.....It totally drained the battery though. I was at 78% and when my phone finally booted up I was shocked to see just 1% charge left.
Everytime this issue occurs...either the phone is completly stuck in bootloop or goes to the "Android is upgraing your apps" notification and then again comes back to the bootloop.
I have also done two fresh flashes before this as well so I know its got nothing to do with a dirty flash.
I then started googling for the same issue that other Zenfone 5 users might be experiencing but to my shock...No threads on it could be found with the issue that Im experiencing.
Pretty frustrated right now I have no clue what to do.
Donot want to go back to STOCK ROM..It sucks.
Please help Guys!
Hello.
You should try to format system and reinstall the rom + xposed. After that you can format data, cache, internal storage. I hope that it will help you.
And did you have this problem on CM12.1?

Hi,
I tried flashing LineageOS on my S5 and after installing Gapps with some minor difficulties it started working properly.
Then 20minutes later it started doing the rolling screen effect exactly like in this video: 123.youtube.com/watch?v=LSsOGpF_a8I
Can't link the video, new user policy.
But then i tried flashing the ROM stock again lest it was Lineage's fault and now i can't even access the phone.
I can go to Download and Recovery Mode although it's a little difficult navigating.
The phone was italian branded TIM.
Anybody has any idea on how to solve this?
Thanks
its your fault for not making a full wipe of your phone before stock rom
you should have installed twrp and then wipe >>>> advanced wipe and check everything but not external sd lol
then swipe to wipe
then go to download mode and flash stock
