I have already added google account to my zuk z1 , but my google contacts not imported !
what is the way ?
Settings>accounts>google>select the email acount>make sure contacts is on, try sync now at the 3 dot menu in the upper right corner.

I updated two of my contacts cellphone numbers last week. Today I switched from my S2 to Evo 3D for a few hours and realised those two contact numbers never really got updated on my Google account. I double checked on my S2 and it was clearly showing the updated numbers, and Google account was showing the latest sync date which was a few minutes old but for some reason the change wasnt visible in my Google account which is why it wasnt showing in Evo 3D. As an experiment I edited numbers of a few other Google contacts on my S2 and surprisingly again the change wasnt visible in my Google account. Then I made a new account on my S2 and only then was that new contact visible on Google. Later I edited a few more contacts and only a few of those were synced with my Google account.
Similarly making any change on Evo 3D immediately got registered with Google with no issues at all.
So can anyone tell me WTH is going on with S2? :S

what do you mean? the contact that I edit is a Google contact in the first place
I have been using galaxy devices for long and i have so far seen a major glitch in contacts app. If u sync your data with Facebook (only contacts already existing) it shows everything correctly where as it throws in all fb frnds and also once selecting the option of customized (under contacts to display) it automatically shifts to all contacts on exit... can anyone please confirm having same problem..
My friend has a strange problem with his SGS5 ...Yesterday I was with him to help him . He had the problem that ALL of his contacts had disappeared from the phone. They had all been there for the last 3 days . He has his contacts in sync with his google account. ! I went on his google to sync again , but there was not any contact there .. ONLY 7 favorites came back .. out of 75 contacts.So I went on google via his PC to check contacts .. And strange enough was only 7 friends there .. This despite the fact that he NEVER deleted a single one of his contacts in Google. They are all fine as they should on his SGS4 . And it is set up to ONLY show google contacts.So the problem is ONLY on his new SGS5 ..I copyed ALL 75 contacts from SGS4 over on his google account which I deleted google account on SGS5 and created it again . And wupti .. There were all his 75 contacts again ..But but but ... Just before he called to tell that the same thing had happened again . ! !WTF ... And again all is gone:crying: both on the phone ( SGS5 ) and his google account.What's going on ?

Hello, I update to MM 6.01 on my cell, and when I do a call I just only see the number phone, the picture of my contact no more...
I try to find the settings to see the picture of my contacts when I do a call or when I recive a call.. but I cant find where its this settings... ( this show only when I update to MM 6.01 ,, because in lollipop the picture its show it )
please any help on this ??

Are you using Package disabler? In reated contact on your phone memory, you cas choose a picture to show. Add few screenshots from your random contact, updated with pic.

I dont know what its "Package disabler" ?
my settings in contacts its:
contacts- settings- contacts to show: Google contacts ( because in google I save all my contacts, and never has a problem in the past )

I'm also on 6.0.1 and my contact pics appear on calls, i have all contacts on my exchange account.

Hello xda Community,
i recently swtiched from OnePlus3 to Xiaomi 9T 128gb with global Rom. While synchronizing all my apps on the new phone, i had some issues on some Apps (e.g. SwiftKey, Jodel (socialapp in germany)).
So what happens is, when i select on SwiftKey my Google Account to proceed the data sync (with my personal wordbooks etc), a white Popup comes up and a Loading-Circle symbol. after then nothing else happens. Exact same thing on the other app (Jodel). I select my Google Account to proceed backuping my data, and it just open a white popup window with the loading circle.
Any ideas why it is stucking ?

Found a solution on the Google Support website...
"To all of you guys having the trouble described above, the solution is here.
In a webbrowser login to your gmail account and go to gmail settings. Go to the "accounts and import" tab and find the entry "send as" for your gmail account. Next to it you have to use the link "change to @gmail.com" and confirm that. "
solved the problem for me.
