Battery controller issue? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys. I have noticed an issue with battery, when it discharges very slowly for first 3-3,5 hours of active non-stop usage and after just drains very fast. Also can see that sometimes battery stucks on a certain percentage for long period of time and than goes down by 2-3 percent. Is it hardware issue?

Increase battery life of o2 NEO ??

I am facing battery problems. I fully charge my phone and after a few short calls my battery level drops down to 90% remaining level. Am I the only one facing this problem ? I have made necessary changes to improve the life.
1) reduced the back light to auto shut after 15 seconds of inactivity
2) standby mode in 30 seconds of inactivity
3) backlight is set to the second bar.
3) GPRS is not connected bluetooth is off and wi-fi is off.
I just purchased this phone 2 weeks back so the battery is brand new
Battery info: model number is PM16A, 3.7 Volt DC @ 1200 mAh (DynaPack)
I need to recharge the battery every 24 hours. Is this NORMAL ?
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.
It's normal. Battery life in pocket pcs and pocket pc phones in general is like that.
I've always noticed that in my PPC and my Prophet, the battery drops down REALLY fast to 85-90%. Then it slowly goes down. Then around 60%, it again gets stuck. Then it goes down again, but very slowly. You'll get a good 2 days of usage with moderate use.
Though I usually charge my phone every night, when it is at about 55-60%.
In the morning when I take it off the charger, it drops down to 90-92% after I only read 1-2 SMS messages and maybe make a short 5 minute call. It's normal.

[Q] Excessive battery draining

I have some issues related to the battery. Not sure if they are related.
About half the time, the battery drains itself. The machine does appear to turn off, but a day later, the battery is empty.
This does not always happen, sometimes I can use it for days.
Also: sometimes after charging and unplugging from the computer, the charge light does not go off.
I have replaced the battery two times already, but that does not help.
What can cause this?
You can try flashing another ROM, some drain your battery faster
Normal usage may last you a day or 1.5 day
Well, what is "usage". Even when it does nothing it just drains. It didn't do that when it was new, and as I said, it doesn't do it all the time. Sometimes it works even after a week, sometimes it is dead after a day.
Your UNI has a short circuit, this is the reason that the battery is drainning, maybe you use a over voltage charger morre than 5 Volts and crap the charge center circuit, sorry man your UNI is sick and soon death.

L7 II Battery drain

Hello.
I want to know if there's someone else having this issue.
I charge my phone (p712) to 100%, and when I restart it/shut it down and start it without being pluged to charger wire it starts at 94% and it goes to 89% in less than a minute, after that it get slowing down a little but still goes down quickly till 50% and then it takes longer to decrease the %.
I already calibrated the battery.
¿Maybe it's a rom problem? ¿or it's not optimized for battery visualization?
Thanks for comments.

[Q] Instant Battery Drop from 10% to 0%

Hey guys ,
I have a Note 4 N910F. I can't say I'm impressed with its battery life (coming from LG G3) but it lasts from the morning till I go to sleep on med-high use which is fine.
The problem that I experience though, is that if I "heavily" use my device when the battery reaches 10% - i.e. the GPS and the Data Connection turned on and Google maps are being used, the phone suddenly shuts down. I need to put it on a charger to turn it on and the battery is 0%.
I will post a screenshot as soon as I can.
Do you think this might be related to a hardware issue ? Or is it just the battery ?
I've tried to calibrate the battery but didn't help.
thank you!

Next time you should search first as there is another thread discussing about this.
But I will still answer your question.
It's your battery deteriorating.
It seems that your battery can only hold 90% of the original capacity.
Li-Ion/poly battery WILL deteriorate over time & it can deteriorate faster without proper care.
How to prevent faster battery deterioration:
Avoid heat.
High temperature is the worst enemy of any lithium based battery.
Never let your battery reach 0%
Reaching 0% means longer charging time = more heat exposure while charging
Avoid putting your device/battery on the dashboard during sunny day.
Do short charge multiple times a day.

Stock Pie, Battery Issues!

Issue 1 -
I always fully charge my phone. But, sometimes if I discharge it at a (%) below 100% than it stuck at that (%) for almost 15-20 minutes even after continuously using it and then discharges normally.
Ex :- If I discharge it at 57% and then start using it. So, the battery % will stuck at 57% and will change to 56% after 15-20 minutes or more.
Any solution to this?
Issue 2 -
I am using this device from 2 years but after I moved to stock rom in July 2019. I saw a weird issue i.e. If my battery percentage is 84% and I am using it for 5 minutes. So, now it should change to 83% it changes. But if I press Power Button and lock the device and then unlock the device, then it shows 83%. In simple words, the battery % changes/refreshes/updates immediately when I lock the screen and unlock it. With Screen ON it takes time to change %. My phone gives almost 5-6 hours Screen on Time and I am fine with it. But why these issues exist?
Any solution to this?
PS:- I have calibrated the battery many times, but it doesn't fix these issues.
If you know fix regarding any of these issues, please reply and mention for which "Issue (1/2)" you are telling the fix. ?
