Dead Touchscreen: TWRP Recovery? - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Moto X Pure with a dead touchscreen (kids dropped my phone in bathtub). Fortunately, I have Motorola Accidental damage protection. But now I have this weird problem where I can't run a nandroid backup from my old phone, to restore to my new replacement phone.
Does anybody have any ideas on how I can run a nandroid backup (through TWRP) without a working touchscreen? Or, does anybody know of a working recovery (such as CWM) on the Moto X Pure that doesn't require a touchscreen?

Clockwork Mod 6 Touch Recovery Problems

Has anyone else had bad experiences with CWM Touch? I started to use it in place of TWRP since it would work with Rom Manager (which is still kind of useless compared to what it was on the OG Droid) but it has screwed me over twice. The first time was I was switching ROMs so I made a backup and when I went to restore it later it said MD5 sum mismatch so I was pretty much screwed. Just now I went to try and make another backup since I had just installed Paranoid Android and had everything setup and I wanted a backup before I flashed Clemsyn's elite kernel. Knowing that I didn't have much space left I selected clean nandroid space assuming it would get rid of the previous backups, after it finished it said it was done but never brought back the UI so I had to do a hard reboot.
Upon boot up it just hung at the Google screen, I did a few more reboots and got the same thing. I went into the bootloader via the three finger method (which to my surprise worked without connecting to a USB port, so I'm assuming this is a problem with the 3rd party recoveries and not the device itself?) and selected recovery but i was stuck at the Google screen again.
Time to switch back to TWRP!
TL;DR CWM Bricked my Nexus and the backups don't work

Borked my phone, badly need help

This is almost embarrassing to post, but I need some help...
I have the T-Mobile G2, btw, which was rooted and with TWRP 2.6.3.3
So I was installing an AOSP ROM, and like a dumbass, instead of installing gapps like I meant to do, I accidentally flashed Smikey's KitKat ROM on top of Cyanfox. I realized it too late to stop it, and once the flash finished, I did a wipe of everything but internal storage and tried to restore a backup of CloudyStock. When I rebooted it goes to the LG screen with a secure boot error, and then a black screen where you can still see the backlight if you tilt the phone.
I tried using the LG Mobile Support tool to go back to stock, (It will go into download mode), but I can't get it to push any of the three stock images to the phone.
Holding down and power to do a hardware reset doesn't work either.
Help!!!
I picked up a cheap Tmobile prepaid to use until I get this figured out, but I want my G2 back! Does anyone have any advice at all, or did I brick my phone beyond repair?
I forgot to mention, I'm not sure if it's the phone or the drivers aren't properly installed on my computer, but LG Mobile support tool is reading my phone as a V500...

Anyone know if this method for unbricking the Optimus G will work?

[Q] Wipe data and restore stock ROM with adb

Hey, hope somebody can help me.
I've cracked my LG G2 screen and now the touchscreen is nearly completely destroyed, I can use only the bottom left corner a little bit. I want to sell it now, but I need to wipe all my user data first and restore the stock ROM, which is a problem because I have TWRP installed and as you know you can only use it with touch. I can't install CWM either because you need to deactivate and activate Debugging for it to work. I can't use OSP either
All other functions work only only the touchscreen is broken. I have rooted the phone and adb works, but the bootloader isn't unlocked because of the security hole in 4.2.2, I used it to root my phone
Please help me

i9505 Stuck in boot screen after cracked screen replacement

I have a Galaxy S4 (i9505) that had a cracked screen which rendered the phone unusable (it looked like a squid had squirted ink all over the screen from within, touch still worked, but I could barely see a thing), so I bought a replacement lcd/digitiser, etc, took the phone apart, replaced the screen, put everything back together and now...I cannot get past the boot screen.
I was previously running CM12 (some nightly build from a couple of months back) and had had no troubles with it at all.
I have ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.7 running as recovery and can flash, wipe, etc, but none of this works.
I've currently only tried wipe data/factory reset and re-flashing CM12 and CM11.
I'm considering flashing TouchWiz, full stock, to see if that works, but really...I hate TW so it's far from ideal.
Then again, having a broken phone is less ideal than TW, so I'll take anything at this point
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Have I messed something in the hardware that could cause this?
The fact that I can get to recovery and/or bootloader, says to me that things should be ok, but I'm quite confused.
Should I try flashing a stock ROM with ODIN instead?
Am I missing something simple?
Any help is most appreciated.
Patrick.
have you ever check the connection again, like ribbon cable etc. ? screen replacements won't affect on NAND flash (if you doing it right and not damaging any other components)
Check the charging flex cable connector.

Tried to install android 4.4.4 on droid x but it unistalld cyangenmod.

So I tried to update my droid x via droidviews route, but the droid x had the batter cover off, so I set it down while the cyanogenmod was installing what I hoped was the KitKat update, and when I set it down it knocked out the battery, and taking twrp out. Now I have a droid x that I can boot up but it will not bring up the android system even when I try to reinstall the backup it won't do it. I still am able to use the stock recovery menu but that is it. Any help on how to do this without a p.c. would be very helpful.
