on stock and cloudy i dont remeber this distortion. am on aosp bisspop and recording audio and playback the audio is distorted, and whats app audio messages sent from me and played starts hight then very low but other end can hear ok and i can hear othe end ok only my recordings..?

for some reason the audio quality when the speaker volume is turned up when listening to music or using my ring tone come out really funny sometimes with heavy cracking in audio coming out of speakers, anyone else having problems with the sound quality of the speakers? and is there anyway to improve the sound output.
like any speaker, I let it break in before going full volume. Had it a year without a single problem.

yes, exact same thing here, it's like the mic gain skyrockets to the clouds, I hear an astounding high-pitch noise as if there was a hurrican blowing inside the mic, and this happens even if I record sound in a very quiet room.
On the other side, I use ACR to record all calls, and nothiong like it happens, my voice is clear on the recorded audio...
Audio on the soundrecorder and on the videocamera is simply useless instead.
My Galaxy S5 gives a really annoying audio playback distortion! Like when i'm recording a Snapchat video, the filter's audio gets recorded really distorted! Normal video and audio recording is fine but whenever i record and the notification tone hits up and gets recorded, the tone gets recorded with distortion! I am on Resurrection Remix 7.1.1 but this has been a problem with Stock rom too! Any solution? Any Fix, please?
Hi, I was using CRDroid (android 8.0 version) for some months before I switched to stock marshmallow rom recently.
The following issue is present In BOTH THE ROMS.
The volume levels of the speaker are very weird,
While browsing instgram some videos have excessively low volume while others have decent while some have good audible sound
Before u say that it's the users audio quality let me tell you that I compared the same videos on my cousins iPhone 6s (which has a mono speaker) and audio levels on all the videos were quite audible.
Even my YouTube and Spotify plays at very low volumes.
I used to think my speaker was damaged but then how can I explain the high volume instgram videos???
Mx player allows me to playback videos at high volumes with the help of its sw decoder but what about the rest of the places? :/
Can anyone shed some light on this???
Ever since I have rooted my mi9t, the mic audio recording level is very very poor. Whenever I send an audio message via WhatsApp, the audio is hardly audible. The same happens when I record audio through stock sound recorder.
Can anyone help me out?
