Battery draining after reboot - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, my battery need to be replaced or is a software bug? Because my phone is charging very fast but when I reboot it with 100% of battery level, it goes down to 92%. Same happens when I open apps (like Facebook and Hay Day). Both situations happen with and without the charger. I have already flashed the rom and calibrated the battery many times, no changes. Booting on recovery (TWRP) it show 100% and when I reboot again in recovery it goes down to 92%. I don't know what is happening. Also, measuring with Ampere, this happens:

try full wipe, if thats not working try undervolt maybe? Never saw that, you can try disabling keep awake of other apps in App Ops. Hope something will help atleast.

Changed the battery and the charger connector (the old one was oxidated), still the same :/ I think I'll make a backup and reinstall the ROM (Pure Nexus 6.0)

Battery Indicator not displaying correct percentage

Hello all,
I have a rooted Droid X and I am having trouble with the battery indicator. For example, at just below 4200mV it will display 100% battery which seems correct. However, after the battery reaches around 70%, the indicator drops to 50% in one swoop. Right now it is showing 46% at 3699mV. This problem started on MIUI and I reflashed the rom. That did not fix it so I SBF'ed back to stock which did not seem to help either. I just flashed VXL and I am still having the same issues. I have also tried the various methods to calibrate the battery and it seems like the battery is charging to its full capacity, just that the indicator is incorrect which causes it to shutdown well before it is out of battery. Any ideas?
Also, I'm not sure if this makes a difference but whenever I reboot I seem to lose some of the settings that I saved before the reboot.
Thanks

Does somebody have this problem ?
If you shutdown the device and restart it does the percentage change? I had issues with my battery status not properly updating on my first device. Maybe it's the same thing for you.
see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2015728
Device restarted. Always 31%.

Try recharging with the device off.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Device power off and charging during one hour.
Battery level : 31%
Now I try another power supply....
Have you tried factory reset? It may fix the issues/errors your having by starting fresh. If your rooted you can always go to recovery and delete battery stats. Did you have this problem from the start?
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk HD
No problem with new power supply.
Battery is now at 100%
Thank you for your help!

[Q] [I9505] Battery Possibly Dead - Heats up, Doesn't Charge

Hey guys,
I'm done on this one. Yesterday, my phone was working normally, as it should, then as I got up a few hours ago, my phone was real hot, like insanely hot, and it didn't respond to anything - No buttons or screen input.
I think the battery's dead, but I can't be sure, mainly because the battery status is good.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
That was right after booting, after that it just didn't respond.
I'm trying to get it to boot from my I9300's battery, but without luck, and that's what's putting me off.
My I9300's battery worked fine the last time I used it in my I9505, which was a few months ago, as my phone just buggered up after each load cycle (I had a battery from the bad batch).
Any ideas on this? I'm stumped

Phone charging all weird

I can't tray explain it but whenever my phone is really low on battery (let's say 10 percent) it doesn't seem to discharge it just stays at 10% forever, that's at least what Android thinks (pic included)
And then after plugging it in it charges really really fast, probably a percent of charge every second or so until it reaches about 20%
Could it be that my battery is dying? Software issue maybe? Having really bad battery screen on times as well.

Hello,
Try recalibrating the battery.
For example, with the following app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vitula.batterycalibration

Phantom battery drain

I'm running LineageOS 20 (Android 13).
Charged my phone to 90% 2 days ago, left it on standby afterwards.
The battery was replaced 3 months ago, and the phone does not heat up during normal use.
Came back to 15% battery remaining.
Anyone knows what's going on? Is the battery fake or something? How do I even start debugging this problem?
Other than the stock apps installed alongside the ROM, I have rooted the device with magisk and installed Adaway and Advanced charging controller.
