32GB Frost - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The 6P is available today in Europe and I was about to buy the 32GB Frost when I noticed that it's not available.
Has that model ever existed? It's a matter of stock or they simply do not make 32GB Frost 6Ps? I called Google and they told me they got a lot of pre orders for that model and that's why they do not have it available. AFAIK it wasn't even possible to pre order.

I don't think 32G frost ever existed, at least not in US.

Yes, I guess it was never an option. F me, was really looking forward to buying the Frost and €699, even though it's only €50 more, it's too much already
Thanks!

Woohoo now available in Canada!

Staples received their shipment today (8/19). I'm not sure what models (16/32GB) or accessories they have, but I'm heading there right after work. I was hesitant about this tablet because there's no sdcard slot, but that connector kit sure looks like it makes up for the lack of expansion.

Its about time. I was going to wait for the Canadian release but I ended up getting mine across the border 5 weeks ago. Its a great device though

I went to Staples and the store only had 2 in stock, both 16gb. That is the only model being advertised so I wonder how long it's going to take to see the 32gb model. I played with the 16gb demo model and it seemed very laggy on the home screen. If they had a 32gb I would have it home now, but decided to pass on the 16gb.
I just checked the canadian samsung site and they only list 16gb in the specifications. WTF Samsung, why have you limited us to the base model?
Rob
the stock homescreen is pretty laggy. Install ADW Launcher EX when you get your tablet, its much smoother

[POLL] What GB model of the SIII will you get?

I would like to know what the community thinks is the best option.
Since I have to buy the SIII off contract. I was wondering if it would be worth the extra €100 to get the 32GB version in stead of the 16GB.
I'm guessing 16GB would be more then enough, but I've seen quite some people commenting about the 32GB or even the 64GB model.
I would keep my SIII for 2 or 3years so it might be wise to get the 32GB model.
What are your thoughts and why do you prefer your choice?
16GB, dont need much more than that since i got an sdcard of 16Gb aswell and never got to full capacity.
Originally I wanted to go with the 64GB model but I've pre-ordered today the 16GB version because delivery date (for 32/64GB) is still unknown. I will pick it up next thursday ! I'm counting the last days for my beloved desire, can't wait to ditch it finally
General discussion should be directed here.
There are also other "What one are you getting" threads around.

It looks like only the WiFi versions will be available tomorrow.
They did not announce a release date for other versions.
As soon as the 32gb goes on amazon, I am buying it!!!
i want this baby! any availability dates for the EU?
Ordered mine at B&H for $499 for 32Gb model. Shortly after they realized the mistake and relisted it at $549. Hopefully they still honor the price but given the reputation of B&H I dont doubt them.
Edit: Well they changed my order to 16Gb and listed it as on back order. Trying to get some answers from them now but it looks like they won't honor their price.
Well they admitted the error, the best they could do was to split the difference. Hopefully they send me the right tablet.
I thought B&H was meant to be reputable. Is this a one off or do they generally not know what they are doing.

That's a one-off error - they usually are reputable. I've spent thousands of dollars with them on camera equipment over the years, never without any issue.
Even Amazon (reputable) will cancel orders of accidentally mispriced items. The "stealth change" is a little unusual for B&H, I would've expected cancellation from them in a situation like this.
Already available on B&H and J&R for $499.95.

Interesting... I wonder from where?? I have been looking for one everywhere. There are none in Europe/UK/Singapore. Maybe Hong Kong or Korea?
I think the answer could be the following:
"I ordered a Galaxy S III 32GB Internal memory phone. I received a 16GB Internal memory phone and a 16GB external card. said "32GB Internal memory does not necessarly means 32GB Memory on the motherboard, since 16GB card also means internal, external would be if you connect USB to it and have memory on USB." Luckily it was still in new condition."

Right, it could be a trick. That's why I said "appears"... But one can always ask the sellers directly, to clarify, if interested...

Samsung Galaxy S4 32GB or 64GB??

Does anyone have any ideal of when the 32gb or 64gb version of S4 will go on sell? Anyone who works for At&t know if either will be available to purchase in the at&t store? Seen something that Radio Shack will have the 32gb version for Sale on the 27 April 2013. 16gb is not enough onboard memory for me.
I read today at android central that a Samsung rep said within the next week or two for the 32GB but I don't know how accurate that is, I also don't see a 64GB coming at all to the US.

I have the Nexus 4 16gb. Not enough memory for me. 32 would be comfortable.:good:
For those who can live with 9.8GB of space, I applaud them. I simply can't and won't. Just annoys me to have to wait, weeks, months, who knows when for the 32GB. I hear Saturday, I hear next week or two to pre-order, I hear May or June. Not sure what to believe.

I agree I have like 8 games installed and it seems like I have over 5gb installed. That doesn't include Bards Tale, Real Racing 2,Asphalt, Dead trigger and others. I would love 32gb.

Rumor from Google I/O coming in May is a revamped Nexus 4 with 32GB and LTE. May hold out for that. Now if a 32gb or G4gb Galaxy S4 come out before then, I might make that move. :highfive:
While a Nexus 4 w/ 32GB and LTE would be nice the lack of microSD doesn't make it any better for me at least.
More info on the larger memory models at http://blog.clove.co.uk/2013/04/28/...er-accessible-internal-storage/#comment-47651 and http://www.gottabemobile.com/2013/04/25/samsung-galaxy-s4-32gb-64gb-mia/ and http://www.knowyourmobile.com/samsu...msung-galaxy-s4-wheres-32gb-and-64gb-versions
I would really like to buy an S4 but not in a basic 16Gb form. I want at least 32Gb or preferably 64Gb. With Apps2SD not functional on the newer versions of Android and the internal memory being much faster than an external microSD card the larger memory versions are a must for power users. Maybe I will have to give up on Samsung and go for a 64Gb HTC One which does not have a removable battery or card slot but looks a worthy alternative to an S4 with only the basic memory.

rumors abound on when we will see it, some say the 30th, some say May or June, some say never. If ATT didn't even mention it in the fine print we would just assume no.
Bottom line is if they don't then I have to rethink my whole phone strategy. Perhaps Samsung will offer up a 32GB developer edition soon.
Just get an international version. I scored one for $699
I am giving it some time before I get an unlocked international version. I am optimistic that coming soon is May or June at the latest.

Did u get the 32gb version international and from where? i am also patiently waiting for the 32gb version in india. Dont want to make the same mistake of getting the 16 gb again like i did with the s3. Its just no enough space. One of my friends went to the samsung store to ask they say that the 32gb version will not come to india but i have a feeling they are just saying that to sell the 16gb versions but who knows.

Wow. I've searched high and low for a 32 or 64Gb version. Which size did you get and where was it from bacause there are loads of us who would like to know where to get the larger memory versions.
Why is this so difficult? Many people, like myself, were looking to finally switch from iPhone to the S4. But I won't live with 9Gb available. I just won't. They had a huge opportunity with this launch, and they have completely squandered it.
I did see 1 international (South Korean) version for sale on eBay, however apparently LTE doesn't work on that model in the US. I have seen several listings touting 32GB, but then the details pages reveal that they are all 16+16. Today thee were two new listings for 32GB that don't say 16+16, but I have emailed the sellers for clarification since I find it hard to believe that random people would get them first.
Its a myth .. i have being waiting for samsung to release anything greater then 16gb since s2 times..
S2 -> Tab 7.7 -> S3 all annouced 32 or 64.. but none reach my country.
So do not keep your hopes up for 64gb.. 32gb maybe..

32 GB at AT&T.
Hey everyone !
Just made a petition to make Samsung release the 32gb and the 64gb. I know that on AT&T the 32gb has been released, but not everywhere and the 64GB is still missing. Please sign (at least for helping others) and share the petition link: http://www.change.org/petitions/release-the-samsung-galaxy-s4-with-32-and-64-gb-internal-memory
Best regards.

Should I buy a Nexus 6P

I am in the market for a new phone and would like to know if I should get a nexus 6p. I like to do custom roms and experiment with roms and stuff recently had the lg g3 but that was a nightmare for custom roms.
I am hearing that the Pixel phone will not be rootable but what phone is out of the box.
I have some bestbuy gift cards and they have the 6p i was going to get the 64gb version but I am torn between waiting for the pixel release to see if its worth it or just get the 6P any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
I have sprint and it works great for me so that is just more info I even looked at the axeon but its not supported by sprint.
You could wait only another week October 4... Here's some interesting posts: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/upgrade-to-2016-nexus-marlin-t3417724
Either way you should wait. As soon as the new Pixel phones are released the 6P will drop in price, both online and on the street.
I don't care what people say this galxy s7 suxs tried to take a video and phone locked up. Can't wait to get a nexus phone
I Would wait for a while until the pixel phones get released.
Any opinions on this now that the pixel xl has debut
No Pixel overpriced and outdated toys for me. Not in the same league as the Nexus6 & 6p or the upcoming Mate9, V20, Asus 3 Deluxe, etc.!
I got a 64gb 6P not long after launch. I dropped my phone a few times so Im gonna wait until the Pixel gets released and get the 128gb 6P....Pixel is overpriced smh
Well i guess google is also trying to get rid op the 6P... i just ordered the 6p 32gb variant, I also have the LG G3 D855 and i was loving al the custom roms still love the speed of the G3 on custom roms, its still fast enough... but after 2 years i want something new and the OP3 i have to pay 400 euros and now i pay monthly and the screen is too small of the OP3. Axon is still not in my country and also i have to pay around the 400. I will pick it up tomorrow morning

I went from the LG G3 to the Nexus 6P a couple of months ago and I do not regret it. I also have had a Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 5 and I really missed the pure Android experience. Congrats on your purchase, you won't be disappointed.

buy it, it is the best phone there is (for me at least it is).
before i bought my 6p i already knew about the pixel, that it was coming out and well i didnt wait to buy that one because it has (no stereo front facing speakers/somewhat smaller screen, and looked way inferior design wise compared to the sexy 6p).
i have bought the silver 6p and boy is it seksey , i am very happy with it, there are alot of custom roms and kernels to play around with whenever you want to.
and a good handful of mods, and we are getting nougat.
i would recommend it, superb phone.

How cheap?
I think about $480
Just sold mine for $400 I loved the dev support but not a big fan of the phone itself.
Mine will be going on Swappa as soon as I can order a black 128GB Pixel XL.
The 6P is a really good phone but after using my wife's Pixel XL I have now been spoiled by the overall smoothness.
