Viper4 arise for Huawei P8 lollipop

How can i install viper4 arise on my P8 with emui 3.1 (lollipop 5.0)?

What have you tried so far? Did you visit the main thread to follow install instructions: ARISE Sound Systems™ - Auditory Research in Sound Enhancement - Magnum Opus 20170506
Not sure you're aware, but in order to install ARISE, your phone needs to be rooted & have a custom recovery like TWRP (some use the FlashFire app instead to install ARISE, but you still need a rooted phone).
Here's an example of what's involved to install TWRP & root the P8 (EMUI 4, Android 6.0): Rooting and Unroot Huawei P8 [6.0] [FOR All EMUI4.0.1] all [GRA-Types]
If you're going to go ahead with it, I'd recommend successfully updating your P8 to Marshmallow first (Android 6.0), then getting the bootloader unlock code from Huawei, etc.

Questions about custom roms

I have a question about custom roms, i hate the stock huawei p9 lite nougat + emui 5.0. I want to get rid of the emui and to have only normal nougat rom. Can i do it or no?

P9 Lite Mini - Custom roms ?

Been searching for custom for this phone, because the stock rom can't handle 450 DPI and more.
The P9 Lite mini is also known as Huawei Y6 Pro 2017, but when i visit the y6 pro. It's another CPU and GPU and different specs on XDA

Which TWRP for Huawei p9 lite mini?
Hello,
which TWRP image did you flash? I would be interested to find out a way to root this smartphone.
Until now I tried to flash a couple of (official and ported) TWRP versions. None of those seems to be working on my device that gets stuck in a bootloop.

I'm currently working on a TWRP port for this device. I have only a single problem with data partition

Still, i cannot find any custom rom for this device, damn...

You won't find any custom roms for any Huawei phones due to Perma bootloader lock and the locking of the bootloader unlock website.
So pretty much sell your phone and get a xiaomi?

AOSP on Huawei P9 Lite

Hi everyone, I hope that I'm in the right section of this forum. I've a question for my Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L31, I wolud like to know if is possibile to install AOSP on my device, if it possible? Like download AOSP from Android official site and create an image to flash.

Meticulus's website has a AOSP rom. Sadly it's still in beta. I recommend flashing RR. In the comments in the forum there is a updated version of it.
And no, can't provide links.

Huawei p8 GRA possible to install custom rom p8 lite?

Hi guys... I got hold of a Huawei p8 GRA...
I was looking for a custom rom for it but i saw that they only have custom roms up to Android 7.1 without working camera...
The lite version however has more custom roms... And with newer lineage versions and camera...
So is it possible to run one of then on my p8 GRA?
Or does anyone has a sollution for the not working camera on 7.1?
