[Q] [ROOT] Towelroot - did anyone tried?

Did anyne tried to root Grand 2 G7102 with TowelROOT (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783157)?

BEST APP EVER . Rooted my galaxy grand 2 (sm g7102) easily.

But the supersu cannot be installed
When I install it it says to update binary through recovery or normal installation which does not work but some root requiring apps seem to work such as busy box.

Download the SuperSU app, you can find it in the Play market.
It functions well without the need to restart or recovery mode.
And there is a full unroot option in its settings.

Works grate, but only with SuperSU from the site

Open towelroot then Click Make it Rain ............ ur device will automatically reboot

[5.0] [GalaxyS5] [Root] Rooted properly?

Hello everybody,
recently I updated my Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) to Android Lollipop 5.0, After that I downloaded CF Auto Root and it looked like it rooted perfectly, it rebooted in the screen with the red android pirate thingy and after that it rebooted my device with SuperSU installed on it. Then I started downloading some root apps to see if it worked. Root Checker said my device was rooted and then I downloaded GameCIH, it asked for root access and I granted the root access but when it was done loading it says: System Deny to Root. I searched the internet and found out that GameCIH doesn't work on Honeycomb or above, so i tried downloading SB Game Killer or Game Guardian, but both asked for root access but crashed after a couple of seconds so i tried re-rooting but when i opened SuperSU it sayed: There is no SU Binary installed, and SU can't install one. This is a problem! If you just switched to Android 5.0, then you need to re-root your device manually.
Can anyone help me with this problem, because I dont know what to do?

You need to go to "About Phone" in settings. Tap on "Build Number" until developer options is unlocked. Once unlocked go to Developer Options and enable the root access.

Title says it all, but unfortunately I am new so I am unable to post URL's. I will be forced to copy and paste the article. Also, please tell me if with this method I will have root on marshmallow or be forced to stay on kitkat?

You can check the TWRP Recovery is Correctly installed or not by Entering into Recovery Mode->Switch off your Mobile->Volume Up+Home+Power Buttons.

Honestly the only root method that worked for me was through the: computer program/moddifed modem ...
But I know KitKat and mm have support or I'd probably throw this phone away.

Best root methods will typically be found via XDA... 3rd party sites simply "scrap" other web sites and post (kinda like you did with copy and paste)
But using the scrapper they don't even touch the website it kinda just runs alone...
While they feed your "connection" to all the ads they can.

Root SM-G361F without triggering FRP lock!! Enable OEM unlock does not work!!

Hi there.
I have a problem with a smartphone of a family member that needs to be cleaned by bloatware and then has to st back unrooted.
Smartphone model: Samsung Galaxy Core SM-G361F
I have used Magisk for root and install it with TWRP and done all the cleaning... and for doing it correctly I hat also to delete all the Google accounts in the phone as the TWRP recovery was keeping to be triggering the FRP lock, so I was not able to access it anymore if having the Google accounts installed!!
And in all this, Enable OEM unlock is checked in the Dev options!!!!!!!!
Speaking about the exact problem I have, after having done all the cleaning, I restarted...and I could not boot into the os anymore as the load was triggered by the FRP lock!!
The os was still rooted, and then I thought that maybe I should have not added back the Google account before removing Magisk before restarting!!
I had to flash stock firmware without wiping so to restore os without loosing my data and apps (fortunately...)
How to root and then remove bloatware and then un-root this device it without triggering the FRP lock?
