Root gone wrong! Please help! - Galaxy E5, E7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
I tried to root my SM-E500H phone using CF Auto root. Phone OS version was 5.1.1 and I used
Code:
https://download.chainfire.eu/718/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-e53g-e53gxx-sme500h.zip
this CF Auto root version for rooting procedure. Everything was fine until I saw the reset massage in odin3. Phone reboot once and dead pixels came up. Then I saw the message passed in odin3 but phone still showing dead pixels. I tried pushing thee buttons like before and warning screen came up in phone as before. Please suggest me a solution to resolve this.

[Q] Bricked Note 3 SM-N900V. Please help!!

My Note 3 was bricked in the process of rooting. I can get to the Downloading screen on my phone, but I always get a "Failed" Message on Odin after NAND files are being written. The blue progress bar never goes past 10%. Any help would be awesome as I need to use this phone tomorrow! Many thanks!
Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2630669 this fixed it for the same situation as yours. Go into recovery mode as explained in the post and clear cache and then factory reset. If that doesn't work you will need to Odin back to stock. You will most likely have to use Vroot to root your phone.

[Q]Samsung SM-N900 bricked

Hello guys,
I tried to root my SM-N900 this morning. I've root my Note 2 before and i thought it would just be the same. Unfortunately as i am starting to root with Odin, i've waited for hours but Odin is still not done with the phone and the download bar progression thing didnt move an inch. So with regret i turned off the phone and now it is stuck on "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" screen. I tried to download firmwares from sammobile but failed at 99% with a message of Unknown Network Error. So with that, are there any other solution possible? I've also tried Kies, but it wouldnt recognize my phone..
@bluws just download any stock firmware for your phone and flash it later with Odin. Use Odin 3.04 or 3.07 if 3.09 failed.

Try to connect your phone from the KIES program in a mode of emergency restoration of firmware by Model phone type and Serial Number of the phone. This may take several hours. To do this, you need a good internet.

Did you previously disable Knox? If you didn't, that can cause random problems, read about it in the newest Chainfire's thread in recent post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55325329
What kind of root process did you use Odin for?

Good it works again now!
Maybe it is just a baseband problem? I'm sure you will find an asian baseband only and be able to flash it.
Is your IMEI number still there? If yes, make sure to create backup of it now.

[Q] How to root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900?

I've been searching on how to root my note 3 N900, but the videos said that it only works on a specific type of model/firmware version. I have the N900UBUENH1, will I be able to root using this method: http://www.galaxynote3update.com/root-galaxy-note-3-sm-n900-4-3-4-4-2-kitkat-updates/ ? I have Android 4.4.2. I searched up my firmware version and it's not very common. Could my phone be fake?
maybe you can try cf-auto-root by chainfire
NH1 can use it to root.But it's said NI1 can't

I have the same one. Well my gf does and we need to root it. I tried CF Auto Root and it won't finish, it just hangs at a certain point. Afterward the bootloader was like gone and it would not boot. Trying to flash TWRP fixed it and I can boot not ( It also does not boot into TWRP---weird right?) What works for this? I am also not sure which ROM is actually on the phone. I see a few on there that match but not sure which exact firmware is on the thing. I think Samsung has some typos on their site. I am seeing there are some with 2 "U"s in the name. In the bootloader though it says the CSC chosen is TTT...
Update: Well I figured out finding the CSC and given that it can be either: Uruguay, trinidad and tobago, chile, panama, Argentina. The box also says to only use American SIMs on it. Well it has that sticker on it. I assume you still can use it. Anyways how do you root the thing?
I rooted N900UBUENH1 succesfully installing TWRP first (I use twrp-2.8.6.0-ha3g.img.tar file) using Odin 3.09. The key is to uncheck Auto Reboot (uncheck all items under Options) and when Odin finish flashing TWRP (tells you to reset phone), take out battery. Put battery again and restart in recovery mode:
- Press vol.up+home+power and hold Galaxy logo appears and disappears several times
- When displayed for the third time, release the power button and wait
- Release vol.up and home when TWRP logo shows up
Now, from TWRP, you can install SuperSU (latest version from download [dot] chainfire [dot] eu [slash] supersu).
Quick guide: HERE.
Joku1981:
The method described there use CF-Auto-Root and didn't work for me (freeze at 30% aprox in phone's progress bar). Searching in forums I found a lot of people with this particular phone that also CF-Auto-Root didn't work.

Rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 has Nonresponsive Touchscreen

Hello all. Today I decided to root my Samsung Galaxy S4, model SM-S975L. I followed a post from these forums to the T, and everything was going great, until my phone went to sleep and then locked. After it was locked, the touch screen stopped responding. I gave it a reboot and it worked until locked yet again, and again and again and again. I then attempted to use a USSD code that was supposed to bring up some kind of fix to the touch screen firmware, I believe, and the code didn't do anything. Got a pop up that said it was running the USSD code and then nothing happened, it just disappeared. I was also unable to update the su binary when I downloaded SuperSU. Don't know if this is related. Below is the link I used to root my phone. Any help would be wonderful!

Judging by that guide, you did not root your device, you installed a completely different firmware.
Not only that, but it is an old version too.
I suggest you download this version and in the configuration screen select "STOCK KERNEL".
It's pretty much the same process as with the other version.
I forgot to mention I rooted my device with the PC version of KingoRoot, and when I used a root checker app it did say it was rooted.
But say I go this route, am I to also install open gapps? And does it need to be a different version?
So my touch screen stopped working again, this time during the AROMA installer. Managed to get through that with the volume keys and power button. Then it took me back to the screen from TWRP where it says I successfully installed the zip. But my phone is locked and my touch screen is not working. What to do? Please, anybody... I don't want to just pull the battery because I still need to wipe the cache and dalvik and doing that to your phone isn't good for it anyways, from my understanding. Please, I don't want to make it even worse if I can avoid it!

Then flash any other ROM that does not have the word "Optimized" or "Aroma" in its name.
You can also flash the official Lineage ROM, I assume it should work.
I attempted to unroot by flashing the original firmware for my Galaxy S4 and ended up soft bricking it, I think. It says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." Kies is not recognizing the phone. Am I correct in thinking it is soft bricked? If so, how can this be fixed? Please explain as if you were explaining to a child, I am clearly not very good at this.

try flashing it with Odin again, Kies isn't needed, just connect it to PC(while in that screen) and flash the stock rom with Odin, it should recognize it.

Need Advice / help about best course of action?

I have an SAMSUNG s8 SM-G950F which I purchased threw Amazon as new from Italy, I live in the UK.
I decided to try rooting it Following these steps
1st of all I tried using Odin3.V3.10.6 and using CF-Auto-Root-dreamlte-dreamltexx-smg950f.tar.md5
Al this seemed to do was factory reset my phone it still worked fine but was not rooted.
so I tried the method below, from that site, wont let me post links so took the . out
galaxys8root com galaxy-s8-root how-to-root-galaxy-s8-or-s8-plus-exynos
When it game time to to do the 2nd key combination (step11) for the twrp, to load the boot loader i missed it, and my phone was stuck, at boot screen and would do nothing, i tired to use Odin to write the file again it never happened.
I did some more goggling saw that web site is out of date and there was a new version of twrp, downloaded twrp-3.2.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar and tried using odin to flash that, still was not having it, still stuck at the screen. Figured out how to get my phone back into usb upload mode and tried again, and then i kept getting the message that their was no P part partition and it failed.
Tried this a few times did some more goggling, saw the thing about doing it letting it fail, reboot the phone and do it straight away this did not work with the twrp-3.2.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar, but did work with CF-Auto-Root-dreamlte-dreamltexx-smg950f.tar.md5 file.
This let my phone boot again, and was rooted, but this caused me issues with running apps and I saw there was no way to hide the cf auto root so decided to just reset my phone.
This worked but now my phone fails the Safety test and i can not use apps that need it....
So was wondering if any one could advise me what my best course of action is, can i put my phone back to stock some how so it will pass the saftynet again or do I need to try the twrp so i can use magika and hide the fact its rooted?
Thanks in advance, included some screen shots from the software screen in case it helps..
