Hi,
I'm from Portugal and post this topic becouse i need a original samsung firmeware to my Galaxy S I9000.
PCode:GT-I9000HKATHP
Model number: GT-I9000
Firmware Version: 2.2.1
Kernel Version: 2.6.32,9
PDA: I9000XWJS5
PHONE: I9000XXJPY
CSC: I9000XXJS4
buil Info: 2011.01
I need this firmware because after I flash my phone with Odin, the Keis says "this device's version cannot be updated" I tried some firmwares but can not overcome this problem by keeping my PCode.
Best Regards,
HerkusPT
Forget KIES!
You don't need it!
Use ODIN to flash any formware you want.
Ok, but I need these roms, if I need to activate the warranty
I found what I needed

Did You which one is a portugal firmware ?
Boas.
Funciona porreiro.
Hi,
You can use this program to download the official roms.
Use Odin to install.

The Note 3 with AP:N900W8UBUBMHG and CSC:N900W8TCEBMHG from Telcel Mexico, how can we root with *de la Vega* mode?.......The AP isn't in sammobile to get the firmware, I have a KIT KAT versión I don't know, should I use the N900W8UBUCNC1 KIT KAT versión to get firmware?
try the CF-Auto-Root of this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2614772 , its for n9005 but works on n900w8

There's no way to hardbrick your device by just flashing a rom with odin. I even could say that you can flash the N910H rom via odin without any kind of wipes over SweetRom which is almost the same build and the device would boot normally (some bugs might be appear here and there).
If you want to clean flash the new N910H firmware, head into CWM/TWRP and wipe data, cache and system, then put it in download mode and flash the firmware via odin.
Don't worry, just wipe everything I said earlier and flash it via odin. Should work fine without bugs.
Abrazo!

Well I thought you were using SweetRom 5.0.1 (N910C version), but if it's kiktat then you will need to do full wipes first obligatory, then flash LP. Enjoy!

Translation: We can't speak in other language rather than english if we don't put a translation below. It shouldn't be necessary to change the bootloader or modems because they're integrated with the md5 package you downloaded. If you downloaded a tar.md5 package for odin, you only need to do the necessary wipes and flash Lollipop via odin. I did the same with my old N7000 and my N910C, it's the same in every Galaxy device out there. If you need to upgrade from a custom rom to a stock rom with a newer android version the only intermediate step is wipe everything. Dont worry, you will not mess up anything. If you do, remember that you can go to the older version to revert the changes.

It' s the same in every Galaxy device, even in your N910H! Don't worry you will not mess anything, just do it and your phone will boot up with Lollipop after 10 minutes aprox.
You're welcome!

Seems like a problem with odin, not the device. Answering you to PM so we can talk easier.
Hello all. First post here but have used this forum for information multiple times. I've been searching and have yet to find info on two things.
1. Flashing from 7.0 back to 6.0.1
2. If not able to flash back then a way to root and them unroot without having to flash the phone
Moral of the story is I no longer want OTA updates and would really prefer to go back to 6.0.1.
Using an AT&T S7 Edge 935A running on a 935U ROM.
Any info would be appreciated.
I have a Grand Prime G531H, when I flash a custom rom on my phone I can not turn it off or sometimes it freezes and restarts automatically and I get "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP and I have to flash with odin the factory rom, is there any way to eliminate the FRP in order to keep my Custom Rom?
Hey, look
Go tou your Recovery, and wipe EVERYTHING (system, cash...)
Then turn on your phone
It wiil say there isn't a operating OS, just turn it on anyway
After the POWERED BY ANDROID page turns on, remove your battery
Then, go to your Recovery and flash the ROM with an external SD card
Everything should go fine
You're welcome
