No.1 D2 is beautiful ladies smartwatch with diamonds – Review - Other SmartWatches

If you love to read tech news then I am pretty sure that you have heard about Chinese company No.1 which has recently discovered
a new smartwatch called D2 which is primarily made for women or ladies.
If you take a closer look you will notice that almost all smartwatches are more or
less the same when we are talking about the design. Almost there is no difference between men's and ladies watches.
So in my personal opinion this smartwatch is completely different in positive way of course because it is purely beautiful
and I am sure that you will agree with me. It has luxury design thanks to rose gold body with 60 Czech diamonds. Every detail is exclusively made for ladies.
Also the watch strap is made from leather where you have ability to choose from three different colors which are: red, white and brown.
For me it is also interesting that this smartwatch has IP67 certification so in other words it is dust and water resistant.
The screen has 240 x 240 pixels resolution. No.1 D2 has built in low power consumption processor Mediatek MT2502.
While for connectivity it has Bluetooth 4.0. So with Bluetooth you can connect your smartwatch with almost any iOS and Android phone.
It has many useful features like heart rate monitor, UV monitor, temperature measurement but there are many other functions.
I have tested all functions and I can say that all functions are working as they should to work.
Thanks to very good optimization the 350mAh battery gives a long autonomy.
So you can see that this smartwatch in this price range is really good choice so for more information please
visit their official website. Also Christmas is coming and I think this could be a great gift .
Also for more info like photos and some other test please visit this: No.1 D2

[Q] Which device would you recommend right now?

I'm looking to get an Android Wear device during the holidays, but I'm currently split between two. I can't seem to choose between the Sony Smartwatch 3, and the LG G Watch R. Both, for me, have Pros and Cons that basically cancel each other out. I really just can't choose.
Can any current owners of either of these devices (or another one, if there is a device that could be better that I'm just overlooking) voice their opinions between these two? I'm just trying to find some way to solve my indecision. Perhaps there's just something about one of these I'm not seeing that will make the decision unquestionable.
Thanks!
I have the Sony smartwatch 3 and it's great. Stand alone GPS. And as soon as google android wear supports it nfc and wifi! So the most future proof smartwatch.
However if you prefer looks you probably have to buy a circular watch or the asus zenwatch...
You say other.... you would get people telling you Digital Watches should be circular.
Sony Smartwatch3 is a great device.
Better battery life, visible outdoors, micro USB charger.
I would have to say LG G Watch R, Why? Because it looks like a watch first and foremost. A smart watch needs to look like a watch !! or it's treated as a gadget, I like my watch to be round, like 99% of watches.
Pro's
Battery life 18 - 24hrs always ON normal use (longer if not always ON, about 48hrs).
Display: P-OLED looks amazing, high ppi, full colour pallet, low power, bright 300 nits. 1.3" screen sounds smaller than others but it's as big as a Tissot T-Touch Expert.
Look: standard round display makes this look like a watch & not a geek gadget, it looks watch & then gadget.
Style: It looks great, lit & off, off it looks dark & monolithic, it's sheer black when off, lite it looks amazing, punchy OLED high brightness, high contrast.
Control:Crown button looks like a std, watch winder but is a control, touch screen is nice & responsive.
OS: standard Android wear, direct from Google.
Charging: from flat to full in an hour !
Now the CONS:
Watch strap is utter crap, leather of the lowest quality, replace it for a few $$, just remember 22mm width at the watch head and 3.0-3.5mm thickness max or it won't fit. there some nice black Kevlar & leather straps with PVD stainless buckles, just search google "22mm Kevlar leather strap".
Size: it ain't small, if you seen a std, divers watch or sports watch, you get the size, I have a Tissot T-Touch Expert Titanium, it's exactly the same size, many be a few mm thinner.
Male: it's all man, this is not a womans Smart watch, it's very masculine.
Charging connection: not standard micro USB on watch but a proprietary dock, so if your caught away you need a second dock.
Smart watch for me is a unit that works with your phone and with you, it relays call info, msg, data you want, to the watch display so the phone can stay in the pocket more, if you want a stand alone then better option are about, if you want a watch & extension of your phone then this in my option is currently the best, for the reasons above. It's not always about how many functions it has, but how it works with you & your world. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's perfect, it's not, it's no Ridley Scott of the watch world but it is on the right path.
Uploaded a piccy of my watch for you with the face I use 99% of the time, black back, it lasts 18-24hrs always ON and looks great (I think) it's in dim mode (level 4).
just remove the space from the addy at the front, I dont have 10 posts to directly post a pic.

I would say the cheapest one because they'll all be obsolete in a couple months when the next wave comes. I have a lg g watch, Samsung gear live and a gear 2. I think Android wear has the most potential but as of right now my gear 2 is probably the best I just don't use Galaxy's anymore so I gave it to my kid.
Check out a few reviews on youtube for all the Wear watches and you'll see enough to make a good decision.
I voted for Other because the Zenwatch is currently your best bet.

Smartphone Watch Faces

Good Afternoon
I have been looking for a SmartWatch now for a few months but everytime i watch a video review or read a written review they seem to gloss over or only briefly talk about the watch faces that are available.
I understand that they have to talk about notifications and what the watch offers in terms of applications but i wish the above was covered a bit more.
Bearing this in mind, i am looking for a fully personalised Smartwatch. This means one where i can change the strap and have access to alternative watch faces instead of the stock ones that come with the watch.
I'm not a brand person either so i don't know how many of the Chinese smartwatches would have the ability to change faces or straps.
If people could give me their thoughts on this and which watches do this then that would be appreciated.
The only watch i have heard that may have access to other faces is the Atongm W008 but i don't know this to be true.
Many Thanks
chinese watches = 3, maybe 4 watchfaces.
NOT customizable
i very much doubt the atongm will be any different
SW2
-loads of watchfaces, customizable
-display always on
-readable in full sunlight
-battery life about 3 days
-good companion software and social media support
-interchangeable straps
my 2 cents
What's SW2?
Sony Smartwatch 2
I'm not a huge fan, I'm a bigger guy so would prefer a bigger watch

What is your wrist size? I have a 7.5in wrist and the SW2 is very large on my wrist. It's even bigger than my vintage military mechanical diver's watches. It takes up even more wrist space than a Panerai Radiomir 1940 (PAM00512).
then get the Zenwatch, that thing is huge

Sporty Smart watch under 200$

Hi guys ,
I am looking for smart watch that has sporty looks with a decent battery life under 200$ (AUDs) , I have read a lot of comments regarding D5, K8 mini , K9 but all very rusty to me specially their straps look very 'unsporty' , Ideally I am after something that looks like N10 smart watch that has decent battery life.
Btw , I have searched a lot I can not find anywhere genuine reviews on N10 smartwatch . Would appreciate suggestions pls.
Thanks,

Wow, it's so cheap on Gearbest. As the features of the smartband its official announced, I think it's worth to try.
What do you want to know?
Hi,
I have the No1 Smartband F1, after I gifted a friend a Xiaomi Mi 2.
From XDA perspective, Xiaomi has more apps for it's smartbands, apps that can give different functions to the 1 button on the smart-band. Unfortunately i did not find any apps for No 1 F1, other than the base app, and the physical button has no other functions then to long press to close and open, and there is allot of potential. If you guys find any apps, please let me know.
No1 Smartband F1 is, from some point of views, definitely an upgrade from Xiaomi as the battery life is great (100 days, i have it for three days and the batterly still shows 3/4 like it did when i got it), and like the Xioami apps like facebook and whatsapp just show a bell on the screen , the notification is only available of QQ chat and 1 other chinese app. The camera shutter action is actually a built in camera application with no options whatsoever.
What Xiaomi has extra is the shake to show clock feature (but i find the buttons for back and forward on the No F1 are much more usefull), and a number of apps in the playstore and allow you yo use the button for different functions.
I'm happy with No1 Smartband F1, but i really wish i could find some apps that can rebind the phisical button, because all other functions are covered by the 2 touch buttons on the screen.

Hello, Miband does not support the shake to show clock feature. And I found the app for f1 on NO.1 website.http://en.001phone.cn/download-56.html
Thanks for replying, I also sended email to NO.1. They confirmed that it only supports QQ and WET chat icons, but they'll update the firmware to make it support the other app icons. So, I'm still waiting for their updates.

They did not reply to me Can you let me know what email address you used? I used the one on the Play Store.
And a few updates, I have a more techy friend that had some emails back and forward with the Xiaomi guys, and they created this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mc.miband1 that enables Xiaomi MI 2 band to actually receive full messages from Facebook, Whatsapp and Hangouts, and read them on the Band screen, and use the fisical button for other functions.
I am really thinking of returning the No 1 Band, and getting the Xiaomi Mi 2, just for that app...
Another reason would be that the No Band F1 does not reconnect automatically to the mobile phone, and there is no shake to wake screen, i believe that is a must have for these bands.
Have a great day,
Daniel

Oh and i forgot, Xiaomi MI 2 does have turn your wrist to show clock feature. I had the band to test out for myself.
I left a comment in their website.
I have the miband 2 for 10 days. I am happy from it but i would like to wear it in the sea and sometime take a dive until 2-3 meters deep. So i am thinking of buying the F1.
What is your opinion?
Does anyone have the smartband's apk? I can't find it anywhere and the google play link does not work for me. Thanks!

OPPO Ambassador from Italy! Let's rock the Find X5! UNBOXING LIVE! (REVIEW SOON)

Hi all! My name is Francesco, the only OPPO Ambassador from Italy
As an ambassador I cannot wait to put my hands on OPPOFind X5.
What do i expect? Well, certainly a confirmation of the excellent work already done by OPPO in the last years from a software and hardware point of view such as the 80w Wooc Super fast charge, I think it can be the solution to the "battery anxiety" with which we often live.
I'm also looking forward to test the new Marisilicon's NPU optimizations related to night photos and videos and the collaboration with Hasselblad on color balance. Well ... I can't wait for it to arrive.
Il will share tests, comparison with S22 Ultra and Pixel 6 Pro, and a lot of photos!
Are you ready to join my tests?
Finally I can share my unboxing ophotos and first impressions! Just a spoiler: With Oppo Find X5 you don't need to buy accessories or charger, EVERYTING IS IN THE BOX!
UNBOXING
FIRST IMPRESSIONSAs stated before, after you buy the phone you don't need to buy accessories! The box contains everything: 80W SuperVOOC charger, USB A to C Cable, a Type A-C dongle, a TPU Cover (very minimal and flexible) and the phone comes with a preapplied screen protector!
Simply unbox it and you are ready to go! I really love this!
The phone feels super premium in the hand with aluminium rounded edges, clicky buttons and a silky smooth matte frosted glass on the back. I really like the way the glass curves towards the shiny camera bump and also that this matte finish doesn’t pick up fingerprints at all! On the front the shiny 6,5" 120HZ OLED Display (not LPTO and with no variable refrash rate) with 1000 nits peak brightness.
Coming form 2 super phablets of 6,7 and 6,8 inches and over 200g (Pixel 6 pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra) I feel very comfortable with the size and weight of Oppo Find X5: 6,5" and 196g.
As many of you already know: Oppo Find X5 is rocked by a Snapdragon 888, the Qualcomm's flagship SOC of 2021 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS storage, it shares both the Sony IMX677 camera sensors with the Pro version but it lacks 5-axes stabilization (it has the classic 2-axis OIS) and uses different lenses. By the way the most important camera innovation is here: the MariSilicon X NPU that should improve camera performance especially for night shots and video.
Cannot wait to deeply test this!
Now i need to configure it and test this amazing piece of tech, please stay tuned and follow this thread to know everything about performance, photos, videos, battery life and optimizations of the latest ColorOS.
Following!

Jings, Oppo "ambassadors"...their reviews are going to be really unbiased. Personally, I think Oppo Ambassadors enjoy getting their freebie devices to play with and have no intention of saying anything that might spoil their future gravy train supply of phones.
Clearly, they have to review the latest versions of ColourOS, hence why there was such a proliferation of the usual YT suspects bringing out very positive reviews of it after launch. Odd how none of them mentioned Oppo removing the ability to disable the Google Home Screen feed....
This phone has had astonishingly positive reviews all over YT, all from "ambassadors".....it's good, don't get me wrong but just be wary when watching reviews.

I have to say I prefer the S22U here. Sky on the oppo one looks a bit blown out and over exposed.
